Cosmic Coffee

Walked right in and good service. Just ordered drinks and getting the wifi. I’m getting a good layed back feeling from this place. Yum

This place is so delicious. The staff is very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. They have a variety of drinks on their menu. I always get a coffee shake when I’m feeling indulgent! Don’t go to Starbucks for a frappucino. Try a coffee shake instead! You will not be disappointed!

The staff is super friendly. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I love their chai lattes, hot and cold. They also have a drive thru, which is convenient and uncommon for a small coffee shop.

The usual medium latte comes with two shots but my wife always orders an extra shot because she likes powerful coffee. So this one qualifies as powerful with three shots. While she orders the coffee I check out the décor and the kitsch. This place keeps the cosmic theme and has a space alien statue in the salon. Ok, one more comment. It is easiest to turn into the parking lot when driving toward I-​80 on mc
carran.

Great cup of coffee, relaxed atmosphere. They use locally roasted beans and it’s got a great flavor. Free wifi and room to sit down. All in all it’s exactly what I’m looking for in a coffee shop!

When I lived in Reno, this was my favorite place to get coffee. Not only did they use local coffee, but their coffee drinks were not too sweet. Being not too sweet allowed for actually tasting the coffee: Amazing!
My by far favorite thing to get here was a COFFEE SHAKE! Real ice cream and wonderful ingredients, these shakes were perfect. I’d even get one if it were snowing outside. They warmed my heart and that is all that counts. The owner and employees were also always very friendly. Please give this place a try and stop going to Starbucks.

Just stopped in for a hot Americano and a breakfast sandwich. This place is great! I’ve lived up in Sparks for years now but have never been to Cosmic. The espresso is delicious and the bacon, swiss, egg sandwich on an english muffin was quick and tasty. If you’re looking to replace «big coffee» like I am this may be the ticket.

White mocha was delish! Id have to say they’re better than Starbucks!

Located at the southwest corner of McCarran and Prater, this is one of my favorite coffee houses in town mostly due to their coffee shakes which uses real ice cream which resemble a multitude of candy bars like Milky Way, Snickers, and Almond Joy. I had the Harlem Shake which includes peanut butter and real banana which for whatever reason is a great combo. They also use Wood Fire Roasted coffee which is made in town and uses wood fire roasted which gives the coffee a milder, more mellow flavor. They also have a table chessboard with chess pieces and a drive thru. Only wish they closed later than 5 PM. They also do smoothies.

I’ve probably visited Cosmic Coffee 5 – 6 times and each was a good experience. The ambiance and the «cosmic» theme are pretty cool… it’s always interesting looking around while waiting for my drink. I’ve enjoyed all of the drinks I’ve tried and they always have wonderful service.

Definitely has the biggest array of sugar free flavorings that I’ve seen in quite a while. I had a non-​fat sugar-​free coconut latte and really liked it. The barista, however, took FOREVER to make the drink. There were 2 people that ordered before me and I ended up waiting at least 10 minutes before I could order while she was making theirs. This place has a drive through window, but I’d hate to know how much gas you’d end up wasting just idling waiting for your order. It’s probably better to park and walk in — at least that way you can enjoy the barista’s weird conversation and ecclectic décor. I’d still pick this place over Starbucks though for a weekend reading/​working place (yay for free wifi), unless I was in a hurry.

Always great coffee drinks, slightly less pricey than other coffee places as others have said, and I’ve always had great service there. The employees are friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
The Voodoo is great for when you need a serious eye-​opener. The coffee shakes are a real treat, thick and creamy. Their shakes are to frappacinos as chocolate milk is to Yoohoo, ya know? The drip coffee is a nice roast, less burnt tasting than starbucks but still very flavorful.
Go there! Let’s keep this place in business. Small businesses like this one really enhance life in Sparks where we have a few too many fast food joints and big boxes, IMHO.

I’ve tried their coffee drinks, smoothies and Italian cream sodas. They are absolutely the best. I go at least once a week for their drinks, great customer service and of course, free WI fi.
Actually, since I am not working full-​time, I am here about two to three times a week. Heather, Aaron and Joelle are the BEST. Sorry if I missed anyone. Those are the three that are here when I am.

I came in to Cosmic Coffee for a quick meeting and grabbed a white mocha… it was tasty and the atmosphere is nice and quiet, which I liked — and the barista was very nice and made my drink fast!

I love going to this place over going to Starbucks. Their drinks are by far taster than S-​bucks is. Everyone is always nice and makes sure you get what you actually wanted.
Only downer is that it always seems like they are a bit short staffed and it takes a little longer to get your drink, but is totally worth the wait. Love this place.

The cowboy blend coffee was a great addition to the choices.
The blended drinks are innovative and balanced.
The food menu is fun and healthier than competitors offer.
but you can still have your cheese cake!
I enjoy buzzing over from the Legends and think more Sparks business people should take advantage of the soothing space.

If you want anything made with soy, you have to go here instead of Starbucks. Starbucks is really lacking in the soy department. This place’s soy is sooooo much better, frothier, creamier… mmm. I always get their soy spiced chai latte. I guess they also have vanilla chai, but I haven’t tried it yet b/​c I love the spiced chai so much.

I am a big fan of the drive through! With kids in the car it makes it so easy to get a Latte while doing errands.
The service is fast and friendly. The coffee is good and they have huge muffins for $ 2. It is a perfect snack for the kids to share.

This place is so cute!!! It has all the same stuff as the other Cosmic Coffee in Reno and them some. Their white mocha’s are the best in town. I’ve heard their coffee shakes are also the best. So next time i’m going to try the blended snickers, yum yum.

New place that replaced It’s a Grind at Prater and McCarran. Better coffee than Starbucks and less expensive. The emphasis is more on the taste of the bean, like Peet’s, than the roast of the bean, like Starbucks.
