A little jewel tucked in between Santé and Uncle’s. With the best Old Fashioned in town. Very unique establishment where they truely care about the craft and it shows in every drink.

Tucked in-​between Santé and Auntie’s Bookstore in the historic Liberty Building, Butcher Bar specializes in the classics with creative license and local flavor influences. This is Sante’s casual bar offering that’s walk-​in friendly with the same quality and attention to detail you’ve come to expect from Chef Jeremy and Kate Hanson. This intimate bar could also be considered a «Mini Bar» due to its limited capacity.
*Happiest Hours: 3 – 5 p.m. daily, which they’ve dubbed «social hour,» features ½-​price hand-​crafted cocktails.

The Butcher Bar has some of the best mixed drinks in town. The atmosphere is great, and Sante’s food is delicious. I gave 4 stars just because I find both the food and drinks to be a bit pricey, and there isn’t much of a happy hour.

Unique, classy, clean. Most adventurous cocktails in Spokane. I had a delicious drink «Bartender’s Whim». I requested something herbaceous and citrusy and he did not disappoint. Great place for a date or good conversation with a small group. Heck, I would even come here by myself with a good book. Great atmosphere nestled between Sante’s main dining area and Aunties.

Had a charcuterie platter and a couple drinks. Was delicious and great atmosphere!

Butcher Bar continues on Sante’s trend of excellence. I’ve been a couple times now and each time the drinks were strong, and very well crafted. The flavors of the spirits are complemented very well, and if you’re someone who doesn’t watch their tolerance you’ll never know what hit you.
The wood top on the bar is a nice touch. I do however wish they would add a foot rail to the bar. Although I haven’t taken seating in the tables along the wall they look to be exceptionally comfortable.
The service was friendly and prompt, my drink was never empty for long. I couldn’t find a flaw there even if I was searching for one.
The knocked star is due to the fact the price point on the drinks is high for the greater spokane area, and that’s considering drink prices for Sante’s regional competitors. The Bar menu itself is only available during the times the bar is open outside of the regular restaurant hours, and otherwise the appropriate restaurant menu is served.
Overall a great experience, and I will be going back.
