Went for restaurant week. It was good to try new things, I just didn’t love their selections. Luna is a great place to go for a little upscale dining. Great neighborhood spot.

i came here for dinner and the prices are pretty outrageous. my friend and i ended up getting the cheapest things on the menu, burger and pizza and still it was ridiculous. we also got the coconut cake. the price was not proportionate to the taste, nothing special! the inside is cute and intimate though. i only came here based on a personal recommendation. i wouldn’t come back again unless i was a guest.

Nice décor and lighting. Service was excellent. However, the menu was very eclectic and sort of strange. Spaghetti w/meatballs to fancy fish. Personally I only found the Kobe’ burger and Cesar salad somewhat appetizing.(I make a better dressing!) My dining partner ordered a chicken dish that was cold and very underdone. My burger was served rare(I ordered med well as I hate pink burger) All in all– Luna is expensive for what is served and not worth going back again. It used to be much better and it was disappointing this trip. There to too many good restaurants in town so we won’t bother going here again.

Great brunch/wine bar spot! Cool on the inside and the service was great. We had the eggs Benedict, butternut squash hash, side of fruit. Everything was super yummy. They serve a cinnamon challah to start which was my favorite and their coffee was surprisingly good.

We have been tentative about going back to Luna after a discouraging visit in the Spring 2015, but we have been 3 times in about 6 weeks and every visit, including tonights, has impressed me even more. Tonight I enjoyed one of my BESTMEALSEVER. So good!!! YUM!!! I ate every bite of the Foie Mousse Salad. The Foie Mousse Salad was such an unexpected delight; smooth and silky foie gras mousse wrapped in something and served over greens, maybe arugula with hazelnuts I think. I have never seen anything like this on any menu. I gobbled it up… perfectly balanced. For dinner, I ordered the duck… I am picky about duck. I order duck at every restaurant that has it on the menu… I consider myself a duck connoisseur. This duck rivaled the best duck I have ever had; interestingly, it was at Luna about ten years ago. The duck, ordered as the chef prepares it, was perfectly cooked. Crispy skin and medium rare throughout. I PRACTICALLYLICKEDMYPLATE! It was on a bed of carrot purée and served with a quinoa cake. I am generally not a fan of quinoa, but this was the perfect accompaniment on nicely cooked carrots sticks. A glass of the Cote du Rhone was there. Again, I ate every bite and would not share. The dessert, as recommended by the server was OUTSTANDING!!! Chocolate Gâteau. I had a hard time not ordering the Beignets because last time I was there the beignets and the sauces were SOOOOOGOOD. The Chocolate Gâteau was amazing. Not enough«o’s «in smooth! The chocolate was dark and rich… the gâteau was beautifully presented and tasted ethereal. The whole meal was PERFECT. The service was GREAT. Atmosphere was wonderful. I will be back!!!

I heard mixed reviews for this restraunt but I’ve always wanted to try it because the outside looked so pretty! But, our experience tonight was terrible. I had called a few days earlier for a Valentines reservation and they made it sound like they were extremely busy and barely squeezed us in. When we arrived, they sat us in a large, cold, dark, empty room by ourselves. There was literally no one else in the entire restraunt. Maybe they thought we wanted an intimate setting by ourselves? It was weird because on the phone they made it sound so busy. They then served us cold sourdough bread, which neither of us dont like sourdough so we obviously didn’t finish that. We were really unpleased by this point especially since the menu items were so expensive. When my side salad came, it was literally just bagged lettuce thrown on a plate with like 3 or 4 croutons. That’s it. At that point we knew we had to leave. It was just not a good experience. I might try this place again for breakfast or something because I believe in second chances, but definitely not dinner again.

My fiancé and I went to Luna for happy hour with another couple and the food was very tasty and drinks were good. However, after sitting for about an hour and 20 minutes, our server came over and asked if we would mind leaving. He said that they had quite a few people with reservations waiting and could really use our table. Despite the fact that our table had spent nearly $ 100 on cocktails and food, we said okay and left the restaurant. I will never go back to Luna after being treated so poorly.

Came on out for a happy hour 3 – 6(every day– available restaurant wide). Some $ 5 wine specials, $ 2 off cocktails(they end up being $ 8) and $ 1 off all beers. A special seasonal small plates menu was also available. The standout was the Herbin’ Martini. Brussels sprouts had a creamy, flavorful sauce. Tartare needed more seasoning. Gnocchi was fried like a tater tot! The cheese plate got mocked by our party because it was oh-so-small. We were not wowed by the service as we had to do some flagging down of the waitstaff to order food, but we loved the ambiance and the freedom to chat as a table without feeling rushed out. I personally enjoy the house bread(Bouzie’s Bakery) and recommend it. Loaves are available to take home.

I liked Luna better before the change in ownership. Two experiences since then. First, we were turned away at like 9pm bc they were«closing early» bc it was a slow night. Second, served pasta w marinara(more like marinara w pasta) – it was DROWNING in sauce. Like a bowl of soup. I choose not to pay this much money for mediocre food situations. I may give them one more chance bc the concept is good, but they need to dial it back in.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Luna. We had a very large party, and they accommodated us at the last minute. The staff was very professional and charming and never said a word about what a problem we probably were. They just kept smiling and giving us fantastic service. Everyone kept commenting on how amazing the food was, and my Pimm’s Cup was perfect. I will for sure go back to Luna when I’m in Spokane.

Luna is an amazing Euro/American restaurant. We started out with reservations for 8 that ballooned to a party of 23. The manager and staff accommodated our every need. The food sourced locally was prepared beautifully. NThe wine list and cocktails were fantastic. Thank you Luna for a delightful dining experience.

New owners and a new menu have not changed my opinion of Luna. Always good food and a great experience. A nice place to dine on the south hill and not far from home.

I had such high hopes for this place. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the wait staff was professional and efficient. The kitchen is where things went wrong. Whoever manages the kitchen should probably be replaced, my party had their various orders brought out intermittently. As for the food itself… oh dear. I asked for a medium burger. It came to me charred, and tasted like it had been cooked in a block of salt. My father’s burger arrived in the same condition. My sister ordered a salmon salad… and received some rather sad looking greens and a salty piece of salmon that looked and tasted like it had been pre-cooked and frozen. In addition, my cocktail was as disappointing as the food; a moscow mule should not taste like slightly gingery rubbing alcohol. I have heard many good things about Luna from more than a few people, perhaps the chef was having an off day, but when i spend 16 dollars on a burger and 18 dollars on a salad, i expect something better than what I received.

Best restaurant on the south hill. Initially I came here because they have their own garden and make a point of using local ingredients when is hard to find these days. I went a few days after they released a new menu and it was SOGOOD. We ordered the scallops and also the fresh pasta with duck confit. Pasta was prefectly cooked and flavors were everything. I went with my sister who is a vegan and they were really accomodating, she loved their quinoa dish. For dessert we had the chocolate confection and the pastry chefs trademark macarons, always good :) Everything was excellent and service was on point!

Since my last visit the menu has changed. There is a new chef and a distinct difference. To sum up my visit quickly I would have to say this is an overly priced restaurant with average food.. The pizza was a overly salty and buttery tasting and a significant difference from last time. Anyway just being honest here and hopefully this will give you a better understanding of what to expect. Will I be back? Probably not…

Amazingly delicious dinner. Had the rib eye steak. Steak was cooked perfectly! Could have used a spoon to cut it, superbly tender. Mojito was great too!

Tried this place for happy hour on a Sunday. There was only one other person sitting in the bar area so service was fast and attentive by the bartender. Atmosphere is really inviting and warm. French countryside theme going on. Drinks: nice 4⁄5 dollar beer on draft and a choice of a red or white white. Food: tried the sliders(pretty good but very small so get 2) cheese which was delicious and pizza(pretty disappointing). Overall nice intimate place for happy hour if you live near by.
