I really really wanted to like this place. I got a beef lamb bowl with veggies. The beef lamb mix was old and tasted like meaty drain cleaner. The veggies also had this hint of mr clean that made them unpalatable. My stomach got sick and since eating therw have been quite sick. Will not try this place again the tummy has spoken

The staff is super friendly! I’d go back simply because I love the way I was treated, but a HUGE plus is how amazing the food is!!!

This place was pretty cool. It was kind of like a Chipotle but for kabobs. I had a chicken bowl and the lady was nice enough to walk me through it since I had never been there before. It tasted pretty good and the chicken was pretty flavorful. I’d go back again.

Very fresh and flavorful wraps, bowls or kebap options. They shave all the meat fresh for you to order. They also make your falafel to order as well. You get to pick what all veggies you want in it and type of sauce as well. The staff is friendly and the food is a lot healthier than your typical fast food options. I have tried the lamb, chicken and falafel and all are very tasty. This place is well worth a try u you are looking for something different.

I’ll be efficient with this review: Erique provided quick, perfectly executed service. He was courteous and friendly enough to inspire me to write a review. Food prep area looked very clean and organized Restaurant itself was swept and mopped well They had all the sauces in stock(I had recently been to another location out of certain ingredients) My food was made carefully and prepared well. My sweet potato fries were fresh and hot. Another very well run location

Cashier gave samples of both types of meat. Food was really good and hot. Worth the money for something different.

Speaking as a first time customer I had no idea what to choose for my chicken wrap. The employee was just calling out all the name of the food items, and I was like, «Yup! That’s it!» hahah. I like to work my way to eat my food. I always eat it like I mean it. I had the employee to put in all the spicy sauces. I took the first bite like it was my only bite. My mouth was filled with food. My eyes were tearing up as my snot running down my nose from the spiciness. The part I enjoyed the most was finishing the last few bites. My mouth was breathing fire as I picked up the few veggies pieces and devour the tiny pieces of chicken that fell out. The employee was very friendly as he was making my indecisive order. lolol –NN

HEATHHAZARD — do not come here. A PREGNANT friend and I went here for lunch and ordered a salad with chicken and a wrap with chicken. They asked if we could wait a few min. We wait. They tell us it is ready. We walk up. She proceeds to pick out pieces of chicken. Lots of pieces of chicken. I jokingly ask her if she’s doing surgery, thinking she’s taking out fat, and she said she was picking out raw chicken. She was putting raw chicken on the counter, expected us to be ok with raw chicken touching other chicken… no health safety. I’m writing corporate as we speak. The employees here do not seem very familiar with health safety. Or concerned with it.

Very fresh flavors. The combinations and the sauces is what makes this place good. The lamb and beef meat was a little over cooked though.

Came here for lunch the prices where reasonable the set up is kind of like a subway/salata style so you pick the meat and what goes inside. That being said everything was pretty salty, the meat the sauces was all very salty. This wouldn’t be my 1st pick.

Food is incredible. People are really nice and friendly. I compare the quality of ingredients and convenience of food to that of chipotle. Which is the direction this place is heading as far as popularity.

Disgusting!!! The beef lamb meat was not properly seasoned & very dry! If you have never tried beef lamb this is not the place for you to try it as you will be very disappointed! I have had way better, well seasoned & juicy beef lamb meat! If I could give it no stars I totally would!

Loved the falafel here! I also enjoyed my wrap but the falafel was one of the top 5 I’ve ever had. Fresh ingredients. If you notice the smart car in some of my pictures, that’s how it first originated.

First time trying verts. I was actually extremely surprised how good their verts original with beef and lamb is. The sauces are extremely tasteful. Great little Shop to grab a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend it to anyone looking something different and healthy on the road.

First time visit, randomly stumbled upon this place. We came on a Sunday around 1pm. No line. Barely anyone there. I had their lamb wrap. Delicious! Lamb was kinda too salty for my liking. Their blonde cookie was soooo Goood!!! What’s with the name– trailer park chic? Is there a story behind this name?

I was very excited when this location opened a couple of months ago because I work nearby. I have been going regularly ever since and it is one of my favorite lunch places. Some of the other Verts locations are kind of stingy with toppings but this one is not. They will give you extra of anything. One of the nice things about this place is how quick it is. You can be in and out in less than 10 minutes if you get it to go. Cleanliness could be improved(crumbs and things on the table when you go in, floor a little messy) but good in general. You get a ton of food for really reasonable prices — my salads are ~9 bucks. The fries are good but they take longer so I usually don’t get them. Also if you are being healthy, the salads are less than 300 calories. If you add feta it’s more like 400 but still it’s extremely low-cal for lunch compared to the Chipotle next door. Try the spicy red sauce and the house sauce.

Came here for a quick bite for lunch. Located right off 45 and Louetta between Chipotle and Salata. My first time at Verts and was greeted nicely from the guy behind the counter. Concept is very similar to Chipotle in that they have a line of meats and veggies that you can put on a Kebap(basically a bun), Wrap(Flour Tortilla), or over a Salad. You can choose between Beef/Lamb, Chicken, Veggie Patty, or Falafel. I had a wrap with Beef/Lamb and Chicken. Choose all my veggies which they had a decent amount to choose from. At the end they add in a sauce of your choice — House(Yogurt and Dill), Garlic, and Spicy. Tried all three and they were all good but went with the Garlic and Spicy mixed on my wrap. Overall the wrap was tasty and had a nice mix of meat and veggies. The décor is contemporary and clean. The service was very good. This is a good place to grab a bite of you are in the mood for something a little different but still familiar.

I’m gonna focus on the fries in this review because this is how you make fries!(I’m looking at you Elevation Burger) They were crispy, not too salty, and the most perfect hue of golden yellow I’ve ever seen. This place would’ve gotten a three stars but I REMEMBERED their fries and had to upgrade them. If you’ve been to Niko Niko’s, the actual kebaps might taste familiar, but probably not as salty and you can actually add stuff a la carte a la Chipotle’s much copied build-your-own mechanism.

I saw a Chipotle sign from the freeway and was surprised we were getting on in the restaurant-desert known as north Houston/Spring. When I pulled in, I noticed the Chipotle is still under construction and looks like it is in the permitting-stage. Oh well … the welcoming interior of Vertskebap sucked me in. It has the same hip finish you’d be comfortable in at Chipotle(polished concrete floors, stainless steel chairs, and open food prep area where you customize your ingredients). THEGOOD 1) You can see everything that is prepared 2) The folks behind the counter explained all the options and were very patient. Did I want chicken, beef and lamb ??? Yeah, yeah … beef and lamb. 3) The meat is on a standing rotisserie like you have seen at many Middle-eastern establishments, but that is where my fantasy ended … let me go on with the good. More on the meat later. 4) Serving sizes are good(I had a wrap and fries) and wasn’t disappointed. My wrap was the size of good-sized burrito — really ample portion of filling. You’ll be okay. 5) The fries were fresh and hot 6) Ingredients such as salad greens, veggies, and sauces are all top-notch THEBAD 1) The meat presentation –the meat is on a standing rotisserie style thing where it gets a constant flame as it slowly turns. They shave the meat off and scoop that into your wrap or kebap(a funny looking little waffle shaped deal. I was hungry and didn’t feel like experimenting so I went with what I know … a wrap style) As he shaved off the meat, it gushed liquid(read: blood). Now, I am not stranger to beef cooked rare(and I am not usually squeemish), but I don’t want to SEE a slaughter-house scene as I am waiting for my food to be prepared. I don’t know if the interior of the meat was not well done, or if that is the style, but it was unappetizing to see all the liquid coming out of a mound of charred meat as it’s being shaved. I don’t recall seeing this in middle-eastern restaurants — maybe that meat is prepared more well-done. 2) The meat — maybe it’s just me, but the meat wasn’t what I was expecting. It didn’t have a lot of flavor(no salt or pepper. maybe that is what the sauces are supposed to offer?) an it was TOUGH … I am used to kebab meat that is flavorful and tender. This stuff tasted bland and had a very chewy consistency. I don’t even recall tasting any lamb either. Final word on the meat: This is Texas and we know meat. This meat had a strange CHEWY texture. I know it’s meat and it comes from an animal and it’s not supposed to be the consistency of pudding, but still. It was almost like chewing through old-fashioned real chili meat. Not a texture most folks like. It comes across as tough and gristly. DECOR As mentioned, it has hip vibe that won’t be unfamiliar to those who’ve been to Chipotle. Good amount of seating and lighting, but oddly there was a Smart Car in the center of the restaurant. Maybe it’s part of their marketing strategy. I didn’t bother me, just noting that. All told, I don’t think I would return. I might go back to try the chicken and the kebap bun, but definitely not the beef and lamb. I did eat the food as I was hungry and it was overall fairly-priced and the interior environment is nice, but something was lacking or amiss. Can’t really put my hand on it. It wasn’t the service. Maybe it’s my unfamiliarity with what kebap-style dining is all about and the whole European aspect, or how the meat is actually supposed to taste(different from the middle-east version?), but it is definitely different from what I was expecting. Too many maybes.

Funny name but great food. You enter the restaurant and you first have three decisions to make. A kebap(sort of a pita made with flatbread), a wrap, or a salad. You then choose your protein, beef/lamb mixture, chicken, or falafel. Then you top and dress it to your liking. I opted for a salad. I wanted falafel, but they didn’t have any. This is twice now that I have come by and no falafel. Oh well, went with the beef. So it was kind of awkward because the meat was put on the bottom and then lettuce was piled on top along with other toppings of my choosing. I was a little annoyed that feta is extra, but the salad would have been a little plain without it. Overall, a nice healthy dinner option. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll eventually go back. Hopefully, next time I get to actually try the falafel.
