All I can say is WOW! Best salad I’ve ever had!!! This place is set up kind of like«Chipotle» but for Salads/Wraps. They have tons of toppings. I especially loved how everything was labeled with the calorie count. I bought the large size salad and couldn’t finish it. Next time I’ll definitely try the smaller size. I’m going to be a regular at this place for sure!

This is absolutely the worst location that they have. I go to Salata all the time(weekly; in fact this is the third location that I have reviewed on Unilocal) and every time I come to this location they are out of something. I just went right now and they were out of an entire section. They were out of every vegetable. celery, tomato, cilantro, alfalfa sprouts. all of them. Where is the management in this place? What kind of franchise owner allows this to happen at all, much less on a regular basis? Whoever’s job it is to order needs to be fired, they have had this problem since they opened. It’s absolutely absurd. I told the guy behind the counter that this always happens at this location and he said, «Yes I know, but there is always Chipotle.» I mean, really? So now I have to drive all the way to the Woodlands(where I always get fabulous service and they are always in stock of everything). Why did y’all even build this location? Absolutely terrible here every time.

Love salata! My classmate told me about this place while we were here for training and I’m so glad she did. It’s like a Moe’s or Chipotle type place but for salad! They have every option you can think of and it is all fresh with great size portions!

Everything about this place is magic. The only thing that could make it better is if they sold wine. Very friendly manager and very generous portions. Also it smells like heaven when you walk in.

I definitely must say I was not in the mood for a salad. However if your going to get a salad, this place is definitely the spot. I was really surprised at how fast the process was. Very clean and good customer service.

First of all, hire more people. The Salata in Vintage park would kill you guys with in-n-out times due to the amount of people they have working the front. I walk in to a moderate line and it turns into an hour wait just because there are only 3 people working during a slow lunch hour. Second, keep the consistency of each meal the same. I Coke in during lunch and get a small salad with barely, I mean BARELY any ranch and you charge me $ 1 extra for just a tad bit more dressing. Then I come in for dinner and you charge nothing for two full scoops in a small salad.(I’m sure most folks would agree with this one).

This is my first and likely only stop at this location. I’ve been to the Vintage Park location plenty of times. I’m not a big salad guy, but when I’m in the mood, I can’t go wrong with Salata. This location is cold, and uninviting; sort of like a hospital cafeteria. The staff almost seemed irritated that I wanted to eat.

The second we walked in we were made aware that it was almost closing time. All the food was still out and there was still a line of people so we decided to still grab some food and eat outside out of courtesy for the staff. The entire time the ladies working behind the counter were huffing and puffing at every item we asked for on our salad… It was still 10 minutes before close when we were cashing out and we asked them to put our food in to go boxes so that we could leave and go outside to eat so they could close… They told us to do it ourself over at the silverware counter… I asked her to please do it because the Togo boxes over by the silverware wouldn’t not fit a new uneaten salad in it. They sighed heavily and begrudgingly put it in a Togo box. Then the second we got outside and sat down the older Hispanic women who I thought was a manager locked the door behind us. Not a super great impression of this new overpriced salad bar.

Great restaurant! Service with a smile and patience! This place rocks and so does the salad, can’t beat the freshness. The food is so good and it makes me feel good about making smart choices in my meals.

Great salad place for lunch! Unlimited options. You can have anything from a Mediterranean salad to a southwest salad. You basically go down an assembly line and tell them what you want on your salad. The regular salad bowl is a chore to finish even when I’m hungry, so I’m sure that a small will fill up the majority of people. $ 12 for the regular salad bowl with chicken. The staff is friendly and the line moves really fast!

A good salad happens when the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Yes, I totally just quoted Aristotle for my Salata review. The sum of each ingredient you pick at Salata is guaranteed to make an awesome salad. Every ingredient they have to offer is fresh and delicious, visibly of great quality. You really can’t go wrong. I ordered myself a small salad(starts at 7, then you add 3 bucks for protein). I chose the«Salata mix» which has a nice mix of spinach, romaine, and spring mix. I added a few veggies(mushrooms, black olives, chopped jicama, and cucumbers) and then I couldn’t resist adding feta. They have a variety of dressings to choose from, which they offer to let you sample if you can’t decide on which dressing to pick. I went with the herb vinaigrette. Next, you pick the protein(or you can skip this part). Guess what? They let you sample the protein too! I added a seafood mix to my salad. The end result was ridiculously tasty. Seriously. I also ordered a salad for my boyfriend, which I kept simple. Romaine, croutons, Parmesan, Caesar dressing, and double portion of herb roasted chicken. As I went down the line, I noticed every single thing available had a calorie count per tablesoon or scoop label next to it. I love this! You can know exactly how many calories you are going to consume. I will be stopping by again when I’m in the area and want to eat something healthy and satisfying. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because it can get pretty pricey once you add the protein. I expect a little more protein per scoop for 3 bucks.

Good salad, good place, good staff. Overall good. Pick your salad size, they have small, large, and wraps size. Then you pick your proteins, toppings, dressing, and bread. No fountain drinks. They have lemonades, teas, and bottled drinks. I like their peach lemonade mixed in with the china black tea. I add quinoa in my salad, they charge extra for that. They also charge extra if you want avocado. Small salad with turkey, quinoa, pita chips, and tea costed $ 14.

Everyone with the five star reviews Must have stomachs of steel. My husband and I got takeaways here last week and again a few days ago. Both times we had upset stomachs the next day; the second time we found hairs in our croutons and pita chips — not nice! I’m a vegetarian and was really looking forward to having a decent salad place in Spring, bummer. The staff and building are nice, they just need to sort out their cleanliness in back of house I’m assuming.

I love salata. With my job I frequent them around the city. I got here at 12. Worst time to go but I was hungry, the line was out the door. The staff was so friendly and got us through so quickly! The parking lot is less than ideal at this time of day. There are many other good lunch spots in this location!

I am so happy to have a salata location so close to my neighborhood. I had gotten used to driving to the market street location. What I usually see in a new chain location is undertrained staff, not here though, the assembly team moved swiftly and courteously. I appreciated the option to sample proteins I had yet to try. If you are looking to switch it up and go for a healthier lunch, try this place. I typically hate the idea of a salad or wrap for a meal, but this will fill you up with all the toppings available. Don’t be scared to double up on proteins either or ask employees for recommendations.

New location. Nice setup. Generous heaping handfuls provided upon request for extra of any particular topping. Looks like this location has promise and is in a prime spot. Only difference I noticed was the new tip line on credit card bills, which I haven’t seen at any other Salatas. Seems like a good idea to me. For those of you who have not tried Salata before, you have to try it! It blows Sweet Tomatoes out of the water. They offer many various meats to add to your salad, unlike Sweet Tomatoes. The regular salads are very large and the small size is still likely big enough to fill you up. The topping options are extensive and always fresh. My favorite meat/dressing combo is the spicy chipotle chicken with spicy chipotle dressing. It isn’t too spicy, for those of you cautious about spicy food, so go give it a try. Enjoy!
