I’ve been a fan of Papa’s pizza for YEARS. Pizza rates a 10. Service rates a 10. Playground for kids a 10. Community service a 10. That being said the rug looks like something that Motel 6 threw in the dumpster and Papa’s claimed it. FILTHY. The seating area hasn’t changed since Moses ate their. Come on — put some money back into the business. Also the lunch special is great! AYCE pizza and salad.

I like the pizza but sooo over priced. I appreciate that they do a LOT for the community so I order pizza once or twice a year. We do enjoy the lunch buffet and it is a fair price.

Lots of seating. Decent enough service. Staff is pretty friendly– got a personally signed notecard for my husband’s birthday to invite us over for pizza with a coupon for him. That was pretty cool. Food is okay. Not the most amazing, but good when you’ve got a coupon deal for their buffet. Just wish the staff would keep the buffet up to par and, whenever some loon takes a whole pizza for their own plate, I wish they’d at least apologize, especially if you’ve already been waiting for pizza for a while. Good atmosphere and setting for meetings and groups. Nothing amazing, though.

Half The Beaster and half Surprise. The pizza is pretty good, but the price is also pretty high. I don’t think I’d eat here unless I have a coupon or if I’m helping a fundraiser just based on the price.

Had a coupon for a free pizza and since I’d forgotten to call it in, I had to wait for it and since they were super busy, I was very impressed it took less than 15 minutes for my order! The girl at the counter was very friendly.

We came here for the kid. There is a big indoor play structure all fully padded. It smelled funky in there but the kids loved it. The pizzas are pathetic but the cheese sticks or the cinnamon sticks are actually freshly baked are really good. They’ll try to push the buffet but I think a couple of slices($ 1.25 each) is about anyone who has tasted a decent pizza before can stomach.

This was the most expensive and worst pizza I have ever had in my life. My wife, her grandmother and I all had the same opinion. I was shocked when the delivery man told me it would be $ 30 but I figured if it’s good pizza it might be worth it. Boy I was terribly wrong!!!

This pizza was just awful. The employee on the phone was terribly rude. It took a hour and a half to arrive and was cold and just disgusting. We were very disappointed as the desk clerk highly recommended it. I would never go again. So sad

It’s a friendly atmosphere. Great for parties. They hold a lot of fundraisers. But when it comes to pizza it would probably be #4 on my list. Still good pizza though…

Papas is close to my home, so I have tried it several times over the past few years and the one thing you can count on is that the staff here WILLNOT get your order right. I only get their pizza to go because the restaurant is always filthy and teeming with people — complete with lots of little kids screaming and running around unsupervised. Tonight I only went here because I complained LAST time I ordered from them and the manager sent me a coupon for a free pizza. I also ordered cinnamon sticks which were stone cold when handed to me, by the way! When I got home the pizza I had ordered was also cold. SO many teenagers running around behind the counter and just can’t seem to get organized. Sadly, I would love to support this local spot that has been a fixture in Eugene for a long time. Not any more. Food is so expensive and Papa’s ISNOT the place to send your hand earned money!

I grew up on this pizza and I definately have a soft spot in my heart for it. The pepperoni is my all time favorite and I love the crunch of the crust. Their pizza is never soggy which is a huge plus. Papa’s is just one of the many things I look forward to when visiting Eugene

Why is this terrible pizza so expensive? Why do you have to order in one line and then go into another line to get your beverage? Why do you order at a counter and pick it up yourself and still wait half an hour on an average(not packed) night with several employees on hand? Why do you call the mayo based tubs on display a salad bar? I’m a salad bar fanatic and this one is just sad. Almost everything from a plastic Kroger tub except for the bin of iceberg lettuce the likes of which I have not seen since living in the Midwest. This seems to be a popular place for kid parties. I’m giving them an extra star because I feel that my low opinion is based on my preferences rather than this restaurant. I am mostly just confused by this place. I would understand if eating here was super cheap and wasn’t a chore, but they really make you work for your $ 25 pizza. I may go back if someone asks me just to try and figure it all out.

Staying in town on business and had a Dominos hotel key card. Really wanted to eat at the Mexican place but they were closing in just minutes. Ok… Taco pizza. Big D doesn’t have one so took to the internets. It came down to two options… Papa’s or Abby’s. Studied the menus hard and realized Papa’s puts beans on theirs. YUM. Called for delivery and I got Paula. This lady is a gem. I didn’t know my address but she instantly knew the hotel. Very quick witted with the comebacks. Extremely knowledgeable about the products, and gave me many choices. Very funny and friendly. I’d really like to have a slice of. i mean WITH her someday :) Anyway, definitely NOT your typical«your a pain in my ass and this job sucks» attitude you get from most delivery places these days. Great experience. Paula quoted me an hour and a half but got it in 30 – 40. Under promised and over delivered. Awesome. The food: Best taco pizza I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of beans and meat and fresh toppings. I really wish they had a shop closer to Portland. On my way out of town I found myself close to the aforementioned other taco pizza joint and thought I could replicate my experience. While still quite good and I have nothing bad to say about them, Papas just takes it to a whole higher level in service and flavor. Would have given a 5th star but for two things: 1: They just throw the taco sauce packets on top of the pizza instead of a separate bag like where they put the cheesy bread sauce. Doesn’t really seem 100% safe. I mean how many hands have scooped through that box of sauces? 2. The cheesy bread leaves a lot to be desired. Pulled the first of 4 pieces out and the cheese from all the others came off with it. Will definitely be back!

Good Pizza is not cheap. Cheap pizza’s not good. Were does that leave Papa’s? Expensive and only OK. Delivery is the best in town. You get what you pay for.

I’ve been going to Papa’s on and off for 40 years. Funny thing is I noticed my mom still uses a pitcher I lifted from this place back in the early 80’s — think dumb high school prank. Anyway, always return when I’m in town. Excellent Taco Pizza, something I can’t get here in AZ. Imagine that. It’s gotten«kid friendly» over the past 25 years so expect to see young ones running around. Lunch buffet is a good deal but you need to be strategically located near the feeding station otherwise slim pickings by the time you waddle up there.

Wonderful salad bar! I love to visit them for lunch. They always have a variety of fresh veggies and other toppings. The bar is always kept very clean too. I like to get a small salad to go and it’s just under $ 4. Very fair price. :)

Well I’d give it a 2 ½ stars if I could. The cheese is good and stringy, the reason I’d give it a 2 ½ is cause of a few things: the bathroom is small, cramped and looks liked it hasn’t been clean in 2 days, the path to the kids area was narrow, and crowded with part people, so I was doding little kids and parents just hanging out and talking in the middle of the isle. The only reason I was there is because of a church function, otherwise I wouldn’t have been there.

Jerry Seinfeld joked, «Pizza is like sex. Even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good.» You instantly know what he’s saying, which makes it a good joke. So when I give Papa’s two stars, it’s in the same spirit. My office brought in pizza from here because some people didn’t like Mezza Luna’s. I can’t understand why someone would prefer this place. The crust is unremarkable and not flavorful. Toppings are routine. BBQ chicken pizza was marginally better than Track Town, which isn’t saying much. The colder it got, the worse it got. Seinfeld’s maxim prevents me from going lower than two stars.

The TACOPIZZA is the best! Very casual dining experience. Ambience is outdated, but Papa’s Pizza has been around for so long that it’s part of it’s existence. Their outdated number system is weird, but you expect it from Papa’s Pizza!
