TJ Maxx

The store was crazy busy while we were there but the staff was very kind and helpful and the cashiers were doing a very good job keeping the lines moving. We will be back for sure. They have so much affordable home goods and clothing that you practically have to buy something every time you come.

I really like this store for housewares. They never have clothes that will fit me and my little sister couldn’t find anything that fit her in juniors. I can however always find something for decorating my house. I think this store compared to the others stores across the nation are all pretty one-​in-​the-​same. My brothers girlfriend bought a jewelry box here. The kind that stands on the floor and has a full length mirror on it. It had a large chip in the front and they wanted 150 dollars for it. She asked for a discount because of the ding on the front (kind of an eye sore.) The manager was a dick and would only take $ 10 off. She asked for $ 15 and he wouldn’t budge. In all honesty he should have taken $ 50 off for the amount of damage and where it was located. So customer service isn’t their strong point at this location. He even said they just use the color markers to fill chips and dings on their merchandise «all the time.» Check your stuff carefully if you buy from here. Apparently it’s all smoke and mirrors (no pun intended.)

Great for cheap Christmas stuff…

As far as TJ Maxx go, this is one of the best stores I have ever been to.
You always get great selection of items and the prices cannot be beat.
However, beware, if you need help, you will most likely not get it. The jewelry counter can take forever to look at items and there is always a long line at the counter.
But if you are willing to take some time and dig through the store, you will walk away with some amazing bargains.

I love TJ Maxx. I wish they had coupons or special offers on their Facebook page like other stores or on an email list. However, they do have reasonable prices and they are not required to offer coupons. I just personally like coupons! TJ Maxx moves inventory quickly which I completely appreciate. They do clearance items, so definitely check the clearance section because there are good deals! I love the furniture and cosmetic sections.
Also, for anyone who purchases hair care product lines from Rusk, Chi, Nexxus, Biosilk, Matrix — TJ Maxx has many professional hair care product lines it is worth taking a look. Unfortunately, they do not have what I use, but you can spend a fortune at the salon on hair care products and these prices are VERY reasonable!

I got some great chairs for a good price here. Very, very happy about that!
Also got a wonderful decorative throw pillow.
Many of my friends hit TJ Maxx on a regular basis for clothes. I need to get into that habit.

I’m cheap to an extreme, but I love nicer stuff than what you would find at Walmart. Therefore, TJ Maxx is one of my favorite places to shop. It is often messy and crowded. I’ve never been spoken to by an employee aside from the cashier. All of that is fine with me when I can find fantastic items for a small fraction of the original, department store prices. Some people don’t go for this type of store but to me it is ideal. They do have decent dressing rooms for trying on clothing. While I enjoy shopping at the nearby Marshalls store, it seems that I wind up makng a lot more purchases at TJ Maxx. It’s a little messier but worth it, in my opinion. They also have a great selection of housewares, kitchen gadgets, and accent furniture. Most recently I found 2 accent tables for roughly 20 bucks each, and they look identical to the one I admired for 70 bucks at Target across the street. Can’t beat that!
