Stopped here for dinner next door and needed to use restroom. They were officially closed but kindly allowed us access. We ordered iced coffees and iced tea. The coffee is really really good. It was ice brewed. Just perfect. Want to stop by when we’re on the way home during open hours. Want to try their food! Very nice folks!

I love this coffee shop. It evokes this subtle edge like the quiet yet cool kid in school. Love the gift shop area and the curiosities inside it. A must go see place for coffee in St. Augustine.

Great pour over coffee and the staff is pretty nice. Plenty of seating(including outside seating, with water bowls for dogs). Very family friendly and if we lived here, we would come to work or study here. Plus wine and happy hours look good — too bad we couldn’t try it!

One of the best places we have been to in town. Great – no, the best iced coffee ever. They use a slow drip method to make the cold coffee. Magnificent coffee. We also loved the turkey Swiss and pesto and wine and beer selection. My new hangout. What an awesome discovery. Wish I lived next door

Cute coffee house, forgetful staff. Still worth going for good coffee when in St. Augustine.

Currently obsessed with the guava turnovers! Delicious! They remind me of a Colombian candy called bocadillo con queso, truly unique. I’m not a fan of standard drip coffee, thankfully that’s not what they serve. The pour over is really great & truly bold. Can’t wait to get back for happy hour!

Dos has all that I look forward to in small coffee establishments. The coffee shop is spacious with an eclectic mix of furniture(all of which are very comfy!). If you’re traveling within St. Augustine, it’s a perfect place to rest before your next excursion and also to refuel with Uptown Scratch Kitchen right next door.

I have stopped in here quite a few times but not for coffee. I came in the first time for some chocolate from Crème de la cocoa. You can now get some killer food from St. Augustine’s best food truck Uptown Scratch Kitchen. Say Hi to Chef Vinny for me. The place is pretty darn sweet though. They did some mighty find wood work in the place. The guys behind the counter are really good and helpful. They seem to know what the heck they are doing too. They do have some really cool looking stuff. The pour over set up is also sweet. Kind of cool to watch for a minute. So if you are on the north end of town you should stop in and get some coffee, chocolate, and lunch or dinner.

Love this unique space. Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with the whole family! Pesto Turkey sandwich which my son had, called San John was quite yummy. The dessert shots we had(cookies dough cheesecake and Mexican hot chocolate) were both quite good.

This place is spacious, tons of outlets, easy to work from, and is clean. My mocha was delicious and I love that they’re not just a coffee shop, they’re their own roaster too. I only knocked a star off because they don’t make their own syrups. They make their own chocolate sauce for the mocha but none of the other ones. Why? Great place to work out of though!

I really like this coffee shop/pastry shop. They have new coffees and even old fashion cold drip coffee. The desserts are worth making the trip for a loan.

Not a huge coffee or wine drinker but this place was great! The iced coffee was a unique type of pour over that was then kept in a nitrogen tank. Very crisp flavor and smooth. For a non coffee drinker I was still impressed. Wine selection was superb and the chocolate truffles were equally beautiful and delicious.

Awesome tea, they steep the tea for you! Real tea !!! Loose tea! OMG! I love this place. They make each cuppa tea by hand and each cup of coffee. They have hard boiled eggs(cage free) for us protein nuts. The sandwiches are so tasty … I don’t eat bread but here I will! I have not drilled them on the pastries and chocolates yet so I cannot say much there. Scratch Kitchen has joined them so this is THESPOT to eat food made with love. Not the fastest place because of that but who cares the wait is well worth the results. The building is so cool, look at the wood on the walls and ceilings, old Cadillac dealership, so cool they kept the wood vibe and went with it. Worth the walk, the drive, the wait.

This was my first time at this coffee house & I came in very happy with my family who was visiting from California. Dos came highly recommended by friends & family. Plus I had a gift certificate from my sister, so I happily drove over 40 miles to check this place out. Living in an area with amazing coffee choices and great customer service, I was very excited to come and try their beverages, the Crème de la Cocoa desserts they offer and have a great coffee experience. We stopped in on the first Saturday night of the new year around 6 o’clock really excited to try the desserts and the coffee. I knew about their talented pastry chef and couldn’t wait to try his offerings paired with Dos coffee. When we were making our order, the two young girls behind the counter seemed flustered, confused, unfocused & irritated. Not friendly at all. Pretty bothered actually… Then, as we were deciding on which coffee to order with no attempt from any staff member to explain the types of beverages offered nor the process – the one girl who was taking our order(or so I thought) jumped up on the back counter to hang a coffee sign on the wall as if we weren’t just standing there ready to ask about the desserts in the case or hey, possibly about the plethora of beverages on the walls. OK… I was actually in the middle of a question. After deciding on our own what to order, I had to tell the one girl my order a couple of times to make sure she got everything – which she didn’t. I was told they didn’t have drip coffees and they were all done as pour overs. OK, no big deal. I ended up ordering five mini dessert cups(Florida Native, Salted Caramel Cup, Raspberry and Cream, Midnight Espresso and another with rum?) on the top row of the refrigerated case, the«Snowball» & a Red Velvet Cheesecake, five gourmet truffles, two pour overs, one hot chocolate and two lattes. Besides the very impersonal service that we received, long wait time for our beverages because both of the girls behind the counter were«distracted?» and the lackadaisical attitude of the staff, I’m not sure if I would go back. No doubt that this is a hip, beautiful space with both inside and outside seating. It has tons of potential as the desserts and the coffee are very high quality. However, based on the horrible service and spending my $ 25 Gift Card plus an additional $ 39.96($ 64.96 total not sure how that was calculated) – I was just extremely disappointed. Really wanted to like it here… sad.

A beautiful, rustic coffee shop that I fell in love with when I walked through the front door. Wooden flooring and earthy toned walls adorned with natural details and sleek art welcome you to what feels like a cozy parlor filled with wooden, leather, and metal furniture. The choices of baked goods went on and on, while the black board menu created a homemade feel to the place. The cashier was very conscious of people’s various tastes in drink, asking about milk preference and sneaking in a mention of the sugar and spice choices at the table behind us. Sitting on the comfortable couch, I drank my rich, warm hot chocolate while writing for a little. I absolutely loved the simplicity and beauty of the place! The alternative music choice was something I could enjoy while keeping the atmosphere quiet enough for some studious work. The women’s bathroom was the cutest thing I had ever seen. An abstract mirror arrangement with vases of elegant flowers filled what would have been a boring recession in the wall. A sleek rustic faucet was beautifully lit by a white light that had metalwork that read«you look marvelous!» This creative, minimalist approach to a coffee shop was without a doubt a success.

This is not the highest reviewed café in St. Augustine on Unilocal. That goes to The Kookaburra[3]. Dos is a ~2 year old café with a roaster attached to the side operated by another person. Next month, they are taking over roasting themselves and have bought a roaster capable of handling their daily customers but also enough to start doing online sales of whole bean fresh-roasted coffee. Offerings @ Dos include Pour-Over, Drip, Espresso drinks, Cold brew(via Japanese Siphon setup). They offer blends as well as single-origin coffees. There is an on-site pastry and dessert chef daily and you can buy their whole bean coffee to go. Double Espresso: 7⁄10. Lacked the creamy texture I was expecting but plenty of acidity. Nice fudge like chocolate taste with a little saltiness.(FYI, I was told by owner before giving my criticisms that the roaster next door changed the espresso blend and he hadn’t yet tweaked the espresso pull to compensate. He offered a replacement shot) Cold-Brew: 7⁄10 Served via Keg on Nitro(similar to Guinness). Added a really creamy mouthfeel, maybe too much ice as it was already cold and half the glass was ice but overall, not a bad taste. Pour-Over(Ethiopia). 9⁄10 Hario V60 + Virtuoso used for preparation. Didn’t check water temp but timing was about what I expected. Really an excellent cup. They make all pour-over in 16oz portions and this was probably the best cup of coffee on my recent trip to North Florida. Would get this daily. Overall, the staff was really friendly, the owners care deeply about coffee and spent a lot of time answering my questions and showing me their home coffee setup and they seemed really excited about doing their own roasting in the future. I’d return. overall 8⁄10. Open daily, 300 San Marco Ave St. Augustine, FL32084

Came here on a Sunday brunch tour with The Tasting Tours. This was our 2nd stop. My husband ordered a cup of the Sumatra(I think) and I got a mimosa with a candied hibuscus flower in it. It was called something Royal. We also got to sample the turkey and brie sandwich. The hibiscus mimosa was delicious and the server made me promise to eat the flower when I was done drinking it. I promised and ate it. It was delicious and had an interesting texture that I liked! For a flower soaking in liquid, it was surprisingly kind of crispy/chewy and sweet! The sandwich was also delicious with fresh bread that was pressed and creamy brie cheese with yummy preserves and thick cut turkey. The owner had come out and talked to us for a bit about how her and her husband had gotten started on the coffee shop and she seemed really nice, genuine and friendly. She even had her baby sleeping in the back room where they store the coffee! She was really cute and woke up while we were there so the owner brought her out to meet all of us. I really thought that was nice and hope their establishment does well. Inside, it has a really cool atmosphere with comfy couches and different seating areas where it looks like a lot of people hang out and get on their wifi. We sat outside which has a nice patio with large picnic tables and of course hisbiscus bushes all around!

My absolute favorite place to get coffee in town. They have the best lattes. I also love their smoothies… get the dump truck with a shot of espresso.*so* good! The place is always clean and the vibe is chill. All the employees have always been nothing but nice, knowledgable and professional.
