I’ve gotten the fried chicken twice now. Other than the fact that it’s boneless and browned a bit more than I’d like; it’s nicely seasoned, crunchy, hot and moist. Some day I’ll try some of the many other great-looking offerings, but for now, I’m free from my Publix fried chicken shackles!

YUMYUMYUM! I will be back! I got the Shrimp Po Boy and I can’t wait to try more! Be careful because it does take time for them to make your order since they are making it fresh. I was working in the coffee shop next door and she said 15 – 20 minutes. I set an alarm to go back outside and it really was a 20 minute wait. It was so delicious though and there was a great breeze the day I went. Next I want to try the fish n chips with mahi fish!

You will not believe the food you eat is from a food truck! Spent a week in St. Augustine and ate at this place twice! First day stuffed ourselves because we didn’t know how huge the portions were! BF had the Italian sub with homemade fries, double fried at that and loved it. I had the Cuban, same fries. Oh goodness, you’ll be making those embarrassing sounds! We went again on our next to last day and split the pork belly. So good! I will mention this: the sandwiches were HUGE and we could have split. The pork belly plate is enough for one to be just a little too full, but not really enough for two. However, it was delicious!

The truck is a little hidden behind a coffee shop, and can be a tricky to find if you’ve never been before. But this is a decent truck to eat at. Prices are slightly higher than most food trucks I’ve experienced. Each meal will cost you $ 10 or more without a drink. For two of us, it was $ 30(with one bottled water) plus a $ 4 tip. Portions are a nice size, they take credit, and service was good. Expect to wait at least 10 minutes for your food as it’s prepared to order and only one guy is doing the cooking. I went with the meatball sub and my friend got the Italian sub. The meatball sub was ok although I wasn’t blown away it definitely wasn’t bad. My buddy really enjoyed his Italian sub. I’ll certainly be back to try other menu items. Reserving the fifth star until I get a chance to try other items.

Deciding what to order at the Uptown Scratch Kitchen was extremely difficult since the entire menu looked delicious and everyone around the food truck was raving about the particular item they ordered. I decided on the ½LB Colorado Beef Burger and was not disappointed. The juicy burger was topped with crispy bacon, aged cheddar, onion confit, crisp lettuce, tender tomato, and spicy ketchup. The burger was even better than it sounded. The side of fries was perfectly crispy and seasoned with fresh rosemary. Overall, this is the type of place I would eat on a regular basis if I lived in Saint Augustine and a must visit.

At first it was kind of hard to find this place the directions that they have online put you about 2 miles away. Luckily the directions on Unilocal will get you to where they are located now. At first it’s a food truck but you can tell there’s a little something different from the flowers in the front to the Decour they have outside. When I went to order I had a couple questions about the menu items and the chef was very informative helped me with my selection. I went with the fish and chips. It’s a little different and they give you two sauces. I enjoyed both sauces and the breading of the fish and chips however I would’ve preferred a white fish rather then the catfish. It wasn’t that the catfish was bad to me it was a little too dense compared to a traditional white fish and chips. The french fries were delicious they came with Rosemary and a few whole pieces of garlic that was a very nice surprise.

This place is deserving of the #1 spot to eat in St. Aug. Crazy cool atmosphere and owners. Menu changes on a regular basis and nothing we tried failed to impress. The pork creek was out of this world and one of the more unique items I have ever eaten. I wasn’t even hungry when I started my meal and finished the whole thing! I make a yearly trip to this area for work and plan to come here every time!

This place beats any restaurant in Old Town Saint Augustine. I’m from DC and everytime me and my gf visits Saint Augustine we have to make a stop here. We always get the loaded fries even though it’s not on the menu, you could ask for them and they will gladly make them. The wings are also a must have when it’s on the menu. More people needs to know about this place, especially tourists!

Food here is fantastic. Stopped here looking for a chill spot where we could bring the dog and eat outside. Everything is made to order so it takes a minute, the eats are worth the 15 minute wait, so just sit tight. I had the Shrimp Creole over plantains — super flavorful, piping hot, fresh shrimp, just delicious. My dude had the Shrimp Po Boy — soft bun, delightful sauce, butterfly fried-to-perfection shrimp, yummy fries. We love to cook at home and restaurants often disappoint, however, this place blew us away. Vinny and his lady are incredibly nice and your meal is worth every dollar. They even gave our dog a big yummy bone leftover from one of their pork dishes. Support local folks like these people. We wish there were more places like this one around everyone and will certainly be coming back for more during our stay in FL.

I had the Tostone Creole and my bf had the fish n’ chips and they were both wonderful. The fish was the perfect combo of crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries that came with the meal were covered in rosemary and one other thing that escapes me at the moment but it was great. As for the Tostone Creole which was a shrimp and Tostone meal, I have never had a better Tostone. The creole sauce that the shrimp was cooked in was perfect. The salads that accompanied the meal were great as well. Five stars all around. We are only visiting out of town for the weekend but shall be returning before the end of our trip.

Do not leave St Augustine without eating here! My husband and I both agree that this is some of the best food we have ever had. Don’t overlook this gem, it may be a food truck but the quality rivals meals I’ve had at 5 star restaurants. Not to mention the owner and his wife are incredibly sweet. I am recommending this place to everyone I know. Simply amazing!

Okay we parked right across the street from here and I was hell bent on having some food truck grub after reading their reviews. I am so happy I did. I had the shrimp po boy and it was fantastic! The peppered fry coating was tasty and light with delicious jumbo shrimp inside. The bread is toasted and buttered which was a surprise. I was in heaven. It’s served with onion rings that are also battered appropriately with a side of zesty ketchup. I liked the ketchup but was hoping for a little more heat. I was expecting spicy but then it would’ve said spicy right? Just order at the counter and grab a seat at a table or the curb. It’s worth the wait. I hope this place is here when I come back.

My friends and I stopped by just as the food truck was about to close up for the next week. Boy were we lucky. The food we ordered was amazing and easily a highlight of our trip. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which had a spinach and cheese topping. The size of the portions were huge! Good thing I was starving. The chicken was super crispy and the fluffiness of the waffle synergized with the chicken. Vinny came out to greet us as we were his last customers before he was setting off to enjoy the holiday season with his family. He clearly showed his passion for serving his customers the best food he could offer. The guy wants to impress people with his food, and you should let him.

I read excellent reviews on Unilocal and decided to give this place a try… My boyfriend ordered the mac-n-cheese but instead of adding shrimp, he added blackened chicken on top(he’s allergic to seafood). The chef was nice enough to make the special request even though the menu clearly stated they don’t make substitutions/changes to the menu items. I ordered the shrimp po’ boy. The breading was so light and flavorful and to top it off, it came with hand-dipped onion rings with this house-made secret BBQ sauce(simply delicious!!). All the ingredients were fresh, tasty and portions were very fulfilling. They were telling us that they’ll be moving on the north side of San Marcos street next year… we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town! The only thing I would point out is that there were only two picnic style tables… wish they had more(and shaded) seating… other than that, lunch was amazing~!

Stopped by here on our trip to St. Augustine, and this honestly was the best food we’ve had during the trip. The exterior is simple, but the food they serve is far from — everything is hand made, including the sauces. I got the Colorado Burger, and my friends got the Fish n Chips and the Fish Po Boy. All were delicious and the portion sizes were huge. Chef Vinny was extremely nice and welcoming and it was obvious that he was geninuely passionate about his craft — which definitely shows in the food he served. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Everything is made from scratch and no adjustments can be made to any of the dishes. Wanted the Mac n Cheese but they were out so I ordered the Fish N Chips($ 13) and Colorado Beef Burger($ 12). It took 15 min for our order to come and wow, this is the kinda place that makes me want to go back to all my previous 5-star Unilocal reviews and re-rate them 4 stars. This place is outstanding! The food elicited a lot of «wows» and«this is so damn good.» We left stuffed and happy that we came here. Not too far away from everything and may be easy to miss but it’s a definite if you want great food!

Stop by on our way to the fountain of youth. The food truck is unassuming but the food is amazing and well priced! I had the the chili and my girlfriend had the Mac and cheese, which the chef let her add shrimp scampi. We cleaned our plates and had a great conversation about the town. Highly recommend for a quick and delicious bite!

This place was just next to our hotel. Just a few blocks north of the old cury, on the street, next to a scooter rental shop. A small orange trailer. And two picnic tables. Very cute! The menu is long, rich and half of it changes daily. We ordered the fish tacos and the chicken arepa. It is made from scratch, so it takes 15 – 20. But when the food comes it worth it! The chicken Arepas(3!) were fresh and flavorful and so are the fish tacos. We’re coming back for dinner!

I went wondering around St. A today looking to see what is around here to eat. I tried one place that had some national thingy and it sucked. Then had a friend message me about this truck. Hungry and truck has me written all over it. I scouted them down and walked on up. I looked at the menu and thought wow. From a truck? The menu is let’s say to say the least. They had some salmon dish that sounded great for the wife. Then fried chicken, a cuban, po-boys and some other real deal restaurant dishes. They run specials like a whole fried snapper. then some citrus grilled shrimp with angel hair pasta with a scampi butter with crispy kale. Today I went with an amazing fish n chips. This plate was piled high with some really tasty fish that was cooked perfectly. I mean the fish was still moist and flaky as can be. The chips/fries were also quite good and a quick vingerette slaw that I could have easily ate a bucket of. I did get to talk to Vinny n Christina and they were as nice as they could be. Just down to earth folks that just want to serve you some really good food. Now this truck kind of reminds me of another city that I was in not to long ago. Where according to Unilocal the best restaurant in town is a food truck. This one might be one for the St. Augustine record books soon enough. See you guys again soon.

First food eaten in St Augustine… and totally worth it! I wanted to try everything! Some items were gone, but that’s because we went late(for dinner). We went with the burger, fish tacos and shrimp po boy. The burger was the winner, from my point of view… and I believe the opinion of my friends too! Everything about the burger was great. We talked about going back for lunch the very next day. I recommend this spot for anyone and everyone in the St Augustine area! And best of all, it’s a food truck– love it! Go go go– hurry!
