Good little shop serving Hershey’s ice cream with a very friendly staff. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

How has this business been open for so long [decade(s)?] and no one has reviewed yet? Travesty! This is a super cute locally run small business ice cream stand located in bustling Suffield Center. It’s open seasonally and usually staffed by local high school kids who are staying out of trouble and working an honest job. They even have a «college fund» tip jar so you can earn some good karma points while devouring a large swirl with rainbow sprinkles on a cone. They carry both hard and soft ice cream on par with other local ice cream parlors. It’s delicious and if you look up nutritional facts for soft serve ice cream, it’s relatively low fat and has lower calories when compared to hard ice cream. That qualifies for«guilt free» in my book. The point is, if you find yourself stopping into CVS, Food bag, or Highland Park Market in the center of town, why don’t you do both yourself and the youth of Suffield a favor by patronizing Wilma’s Scoop du Jour on Mountain road. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.
