Very tasty place. Visited the one in South Padre, TX with my husband. I got the veggie burger and it was amazing. We actually went there twice while we were in South Padre for a week on vacation. It’s pricy, and the fries and everything all come separately. But they use premium ingredients like all natural, grass fed beef. Definitely will go back!

This was possibly the most disappointing place I have been in a long time. First of all everything was over prices and they did not have a good beer selection then it took 20 minutes to get my burger and fries. Once I got them is when thing really got disappointing. The double burger was tiny and worst of all dry. I got a fried edd on my burger and they fried the thing until it was hard and it had no yolk so now with a dry burger and dry egg it really sucked. I would have done a 1 star review except they were nice enough to give me a full refund

I thought BurgerFi was fine. It wasn’t mind blowingly delish, but it wasn’t absolutely disgusting either. The service was what I expected for a burger joint, but the burger and fries took forever to come out. I would think it should taste better than it did after taking that long. BTW, I had the BurgerFi Cheeseburger and cajun seasoned fries with a drink. The whole meal costed me about $ 15. Price-wise, I guess you could say it’s more expensive than Five Guys, but less than Beck’s Prime. It’s about half way in between I suppose. Anyways, if I just happened to be in the area and craved a burger, I would swing by BurgerFi if there were no better choices. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get BurgerFi. I would however make a drive to get Culvers :-). Love that place!

2 stars only because the food was acceptable. I’ve been to this location 3 times before. The first time was for a friend’s birthday lunch get together. Another was on the fly for a late night rendezvous. And yesterday, labor day, while we were in the area. The first two times, service was OK. Good/decent tasting burgers and we enjoyed the Parm/herb/garlic aioli crispy fries [no salt though, I guess you were suppose to add your own?] Though they’re certainly on the pricey end, I could still appreciate what they’re trying to do. I enjoy supporting all-natural, «kinda gourmet-ish» type places. But unfortunately, there was still something lacking in the food and definitely the service. Yesterday, on labor day, we happened to be on that side of town so my husband and two little brothers decided to stop in for a quick lunch. We ordered 3 burgers, large fries, 2 fountain drinks, plus a kids menu single burger [which was suppose to come with fries and an apple juice.] The total came out to $ 45.(Totally not worth it, made me cringe a little seeing the total.) I’d daresay the burgers were smaller than Whataburger. Our fries were limp and undercooked. They were still hard in the center. And not to mention, I had to go up and ask for the apple juice. And then I had to ask about the small fries that came with the kids combo because we also didn’t get that. When I asked about the kids fries she replied, «uh, did you still want them?» Uh, durr… why would I go all the way up to you and bring to your attention the fact that they were missing if I didn’t want them? So she looked at the cook who happened to be up front at that particular moment and the cook gave her an unpleasant«yeah, I’ll do it.» Well, excuse me. When in this whole situation was it my fault that your service was terrible even when it was extremely slow in your restaurant? I wasn’t rude to you, I didn’t give you a hard time in any way. It was clearly your fault. Don’t give me an attitude because you screwed up during the slowest lunch hour ever. Not to mention, the girl up front was not pleasant. She wasn’t rude, but no smile, no sincerity BUT after that whole incident, a couple of young guys walked in after us and she was laughing and giggling with them. It’s a fact we’re not coming back to poor ol’ Burgerfi, though I had high hopes for them in the beginning because I actually enjoyed it somewhat in between all of this. I will say, there is one lady there, blonde woman(sorry for saying older woman) but she took our order the first two times and I liked her. Helpful and fast, but there’s no chance I’m spending that kind of money on burgers with crappy service. I could find a decent/that type quality burger elsewhere. [Probably for cheaper.] A word of advice, high quality standard for customer service is just as important as high quality standard for food if you’re charging 2x more than everyone else around you. I would’ve paid you for great customer service, but sorry. Not again.

More like BurgerFail(don’t know if someone already mentioned this but it’s true). When they first opened a couple of years ago, my sisters and I were frequent customers. Things have changed. Let’s start first with the fact that they have NEVER gotten my order right. What’s the point of «build your own» burger if they’re just going to add extra things you didn’t ask for or leave out ingredients you said you wanted. Is it the incompetent cashier who has hearing problems and doesn’t read your order back to you? Or is it the lazy high school drop out with the greasy man-bun cooking your food that just doesn’t give a crap what you want on your $ 10 burger? Speaking of buns, these sad pieces of bread are pale and soggy, the complete opposite of what they are supposed to be: toasted to a golden brown with the right amount of softness. The fact that the BurgerFi logo is «stamped» on the bun like its something so special is enough to make me donkey punch the undercut on the grill cook. What used to be juicy beef patties are now replaced with smashed, dry, thin pieces of brown paper. The onion rings are soggy and cold, and the fries do not make you want to slap anyone’s mama except maybe the fry cook’s. When they got my son’s order wrong(surprise surprise) I sent the burger back. To my face they were nice and all smiles, as soon as they turned around I saw them talking sh-t and rolling their eyes. Listen, I paid 15 $ for that deplorable meal. I probably deserve it, since I keep coming back expecting them to go back to the way they used to be. If I’m going to spend that much on a burger, I’d rather go to that a-hole chef’s place in downtown, the Hubcap Grill. Though the chef is a huge prick, at least you get your money’s worth for the food. tl;dr I learned my lesson. I’m never coming back.

Awful service and awful burgers. Prices are not that cheap and based on the quality it’s not worth it. I was in the area to get a haircut but really wonder why people even bother eating here. A group of 3 people who came even before us are still waiting for their food and we just finished our meal. Burgers were cold and fries don’t even ask please don’t order fries here even if you end up eating here at a gun point.

Shakes are great! Delicious burgers, and fries. The wait was a bit long but it seemed like they were short staffed. The employees were really sweet but they got one burger order wrong and one shake order wrong as well. Gotta step it up at this location.

We wanted to try a new burger joint so we stopped at Burger Fi for lunch. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and there was plenty of space to sit. The menu pricing is average for gourmet style burgers, but I was surprised that the burgers were a little small. I ordered the Burger Fi Cheeseburger and it was pretty greasy. The bun pretty much soaked up the oil as well as the paper it came wrapped in. The natural cut fries were ok, nothing too special but my friend did get the special fries with some special seasoning and sauce and that was pretty good. The restaurant is simple and clean with modern décor, and the waisted is very friendly. I’m not sure I’ll be back though, especially with other burger options in the same area.

The main point of going out to eat is to get an excellent meal that you wouldn’t normally have at home. If you can make it yourself, why go pay 2x as much for the same thing? There are definite benefits to going out, don’t get me wrong. However, at BURGERFI, we felt like we ate unoriginal food for way too much. Given they are a traditional style restaurant, it was unfair of us to expect alot, but you can have more than 2 flavors, salt and fat, and be still be traditional. Speaking of traditional, the décor is nothing close to that. Very modern, hip, fresh. However, it just was a bit«off», and we couldn’t put our finger on it. Everything about this place was just 1 step away from«making it». Décor, Food, Service, everything felt like it needed just 1 more«POW» to hit it out of the park. Unfortunately, they were just a little too far off the mark to be impressive. It’s worth a 2nd try, just not gonna remember to go here when we’re looking to go out — unremarkable. We did enjoy the experience though, mostly because is was so quiet and fast… I wonder why?

Not gonna lie, I came in here with very high expectations. When I tried burgerfi in south padre, I was incredibly pleased. Not so much for the sugar land location. Walked in before the lunch«rush» hoping this would make our time better. Below are some notable observations: Cons: –We couldn’t order our burger cut in half because apparently«they don’t do that» –All food(fries tasted old, meat was hardly warm) was at an unsafe temperature(luke warm at best) –We were the only customers and our food was still delivered about 20 minutes later… Pros: –Summer BBQ burger had a great overall taste –Price was okay –Restaurant was incredibly clean –Cashier was washing windows, and sanitized hands before bringing out our food I will not be returning to this location, and now I understand the low reviews. Too bad because this restaurant has such a cool concept.

Food took a bit long being we were the only customers in the place. I got the breakfast burger. It was pretty good. The parm herb fries were over cooked and dry. Soda machine did not have all the flavors. Meh

Love this place! I have tried their BurgerFi cheeseburger(it has double meat) as well as their build your own with single meat(a better portion for me). Their special sauce is great! Also love the different options you can get with fries. The food is not super greasy or heavy feeling like most burger places. Try a sample of their frozen custard! It’s great in a Coke float. Prices are a bit high, but for great food, I don’t mind splurging once in awhile.

I live close to this place and wanted to try it out finally. After reading some really terrible reviews, I decided I would experience it myself as most people are probably just exaggerating. Holy cow, the reviews are real. When I got there, at no fault of theirs, there was a clueless family trying to order and took forever. In between them trying to order, one party didn’t get their order and another party received the wrong order. In the end, I waited about 15 minutes to order. My confidence was already shaky at that point but I went through with my burger order. I forgot to mention their menu is terrible. They have their menu on TV’s and the burger menu TV was broken. So. yeah… After ordering, I waited about 45 minutes to get my order. A burger, fries and a drink. Thats way too long to be waiting for just a burger. It was good but it wasn’t 45minutes good. I noticed a look on the employees faces and it was the face of «i dont want to friggen be here» look. I’m not sure if its a normal thing but no one looked too happy to be working there — I“m happy to not come back.

Would NEVER come here again. I read some of the reviews and verified: 1. Ordering was a hassle with the cashier. The menu is TERRIBLE. You cant even read the tv due to the dim lighting and glare off the tv. 2. I came to eat around 4−5pm on a Saturday, only 3 employees were working, the cashier had to take orders AND deliver the food. 3. I waited about 24 – 26 mins before getting my food when there was only less than 10 people in there. 4. Burger was pretty basic and bland, only thing cool was the stamp. I did get fresh fries though — which wasnt bad 5. They DIDNOTHAVEGARLICAIOLI — and this appears to be major there. What a tragedy. I overheard the manager in the back saying she needs to make more too. –_– 6. Another customer complained she was waiting almost an hour and she still did not get her food. Comes to find out they didnt even start on it yet! The manager did not even apologize!!! 7. Nice inside /environment but tables were dirty. Overall, I would recommend others to save your money and go somewhere else as well.

Eh. Came here once for a quick dinner with a friend. I felt like the quick dinner ended up being just a long wait… I could have been at other places by the time my food came out. My friend and I were sitting at a dirty table. Why? Because no one cleans. So, I guess we just had to choose the least dirty one. No one even came by to help clean up when I was obviously doing it by myself. 40 minute wait for two burgers and fries. Not worth the wait but the food was mediocre at best. I really wish it was better because seeing photos of this place and hearing the hype made my expectations high.

Reasons why I would not come ever again. 1. Ordering with the cashier was a HASSLE 2. The WAITTIME. 30 minute wait is way too long 3. The SMALL burger size 4. BLAND taste for the burger 5. COLD fries, to be fair they were tasty BUT it seemed like they were sitting out too long and got cold 6. WRONGORDER. We order the burger with all the toppings inside, but when we got our burgers things were missing like tomatoes… 7. COLD buns 8. DRYDRYDRY. dry meat patty. Give this place a pass. Head down to Smashburger or Five Guys instead. Save your time, money, and effort. Its just not worth it. When you walk out with regrets… thats when you know this place deserves 1 star.

I really like their burgers and their special sauce or whatever they have. Buns are soft with burgerfi stamped on top, small good burger nice portion control size so you can pretty much eat it all in one sitting, I think ordering and just having it brought out to you is great and then you can customize your soda. You’re not bothered and is a great place to stop and eat with kids or after shopping.

Hey! Are we in Austin Yet? Teenagers are you gunning to go to school in Austin and can’t wait to get there? Are you from Austin and missing the buzz of the city? Are you looking for a cool hipster burger place? No problem! You have the solution to your quest. BurgerFi, and I have no idea the origin of it’s name… unless it’s mean and lean like a Marine. This place is an Austin Styled Atmosphere. Hipster lighting, tables, chairs and healthy option menu with. oh yeah, burgers too! Found this establishment through my Unilocal App about 8pm on a Friday night. And on a whim my husband I and tired this new sparkly place out! it On approach, it’s well lit on the outside and inviting. The interior, had really cool chairs and a room centerpiece which is a long wooden table underneath a funky lighting fixture… think 1950’s sufboard /upcycled door and giant factory bulb lighting. Wham! But it’s style. The whole space bespoke Austin style and you almost knew the place was a great people watching paradise. It was missing the food truck feel, but kinda sorta close. But this is Sugar Land, so it was kind of weird to have something so hipster smack dab in a first world mall. Anyway, the space had plenty of tables and offered the latest you can be a barrister freestyling soda options. But that’s not the official name, just mine. Here is how it works, walk up to the front counter, and be assisted by staff. Pay, and get your table beeper/coaster. Wait for your food and check out the flat panel tv’s. When we arrived the place was empty. And when we finished the meal, the place was getting packed. Maybe our timing was right, or maybe we are really that cool and we attract a crowd. Net, net, BurgerFi has a really good tasting burger. Promoted as a «healthy» red meat burger. The menu has plenty of options. But, I’d come back for a date night, just to sit and the cool table and be in the moment. Hope this place sticks around and gets local support. Hurray BurgerFi!

My friends always complain about how my reviews are so long, it’s like reading a novel :(I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Burgers are tasty and you can customize your toppings. It’s comparable to five guys or smashburger to me, just a bit pricier. ~$ 6.50 for the cheeseburger. My friend and I each got a frozen concrete– layers of custard and cake(thanks Mariam!). I would’ve liked more red velvet cake in mine, but overall the portion is huge and neither of us could finish. I’d probably only return if someone else suggested it.
