Terrible, we ordered for two adults and two kids, they burnt every single meal. There were maybe 10 other people in the restaurant, so it wasn’t busy. I got up and left, I didn’t even attempt to taste the food. The cook or the waitress should know better than to try and serve burnt food. They need to fire the cooks and waitstaff and start over. The people working there seem to have no pride for their work. The might as well have just served us dog shit on a plate.

The last couple of times we went in there are plenty empty tables yet the queue up front is very long. Makes no sense. Staff seem young and irresponsible in the front and have a no care attitude for how long you wait. Today we didn’t bother to wait and probably won’t be back

The décor is much better than the typical Denny’s. Food and table service is about the same. Hostesses are poor. Went today and there were several parties waiting. Even though there were cleared empty tables(of various sizes) nobody was being seated. This is the 2nd time in a row this happened to us. In the end, we left and went to McDonalds.

They do a great job here. I was in the restaurant business for many years and I know how tough it is to run a restaurant as busy as this one. Most of the people that complain on Unilocal don’t have a clue because they think all there is to it is bussing takes cooking food and delivering food. The complainers on Unilocal wouldn’t last a day working in a restaurant. The staff here are all very very friendly and the food is consistently excellent. Much better than I-Hop nearby. I’ll be back! Keep up the excellent work!

Waited more than 50 mins. Waiter said it is normal. What?! I will never come back even they give away the food for free.

Horrible service along with making us wait for 2 hours without any food. Our waiter emmanual was no help and just kept saying ok i will bring it. I didn’t even get to look at my order.

Our family can always depend on this Denny’s location to be welcoming to us and recognizing us as their regulars. The servers are friendly. We have a favorite lady on days, and we have our favorite server, Noah, on nights. Sure, the place can use a renovation, but it feels comfy to us. We came here after waiting for service at Dairy Queen. and we got seated right away and Noah knew what we wanted to order already. You can say we like what we like. We are very happy with this Denny’s. Thank you.

The overall vibe of the place is, well, a little aged-looking. My father-in-law and I stopped by for a free birthday Grand Slam a couple of months ago, and it was OK because it was free, but I wouldn’t pay full price to eat here. It’s «ehhhhh.» About what you’d expect from a standard diner chain. We stopped by on a weekday just before noon, and there was no wait. The waitress did the basics, got our order and served us our food, and that’s about it.

First time experience: –Waited over 45 minutes for our food –saw at least 4 tables come in after us, get served their food, eat and leave before we got our food –waitress tried to blame the kitchen but it was obviously her fault –manager offers a measly 20% off our bill. Unacceptable. — I blew up on him. I am 6 months pregnant and needed to eat. — NEVER going back. –wish I could give 0 stars(and get back the 1.5 hrs spent at Denny’s)

Last time we came here was a year ago. We waited for one and a half hours for our food that never arrived. We ended up leaving. I was wrong to assume that anything would have changed in that time. We have been sitting here for an hour waiting.

As always, this dennys is a gem. Ask for Antoine. He too, is a gem. Hard working, smiling, friendly… this guy is going places. He is one of the reasons we come back. The managers here are top notch too. Its easy to see they have high standards. Its a dennys, but they are proud of the sevice they provide. I live less than 2 minutes from another dennys, but i come to this one because they are rockstars.

One big MEHHH for Denny’s. When I was a kid, I lived going here but nowadays the food just tastes whatever. My friend and I were liking for a place to eat in Sugar Land after school and we settled for here. We’ve basically eaten everywhere else in Sugar Land, that’s why. I got the sampler appetizer as my main entrée because I wanted a variety of food. I chose the pick 3: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño bottle caps, and chicken strips. The mozzarella sticks were really cheesy and good. As for the jalapeño bottle caps and chicken strips, they were below average. Both the strips and caps were almost like they were overcooked– too crispy and dry. The jalapeños weren’t even spicy. My friend got the chicken fried steak with fries. She finished it. We also got one side of pancakes– it tasted like iron to me. I got tired of it after a while and could only eat like 3 bites. I wouldn’t come here again.

Breakfast served all day. Great burgers. Open 24⁄7. Gets packed on weekends and holiday mornings. Prices are fare compared to that other breakfast place.

Had to get my own menu, the server kept walking past our table not acknowledging we had been sitting there without service for more than 20 minutes. The guy who told us to wait on a seat eventually told us to grab a seat on our own, without bringing menus or taking our drink order. Stay away from this location.

Service is kinda slow but the food is yummy. The $ 6 burger was surprisingly juicy and well made. All you can eat pancakes were good and only $ 4. Omg… their zesty nachos are a guilty pleasure. You know the chili cheese nachos you’d eat at the school cafeteria? This place recreates that for me with the extras of pico and sour cream. Plus you can get a half order instead of the $ 8 full size and it will still be enough. Overall, I would come here again because their regular menu items are as tasty as their breakfast stuff.

We have always liked this particular Denny’s because the food and service has always been good for us.(Caveat — the *only* time we go is late morning or early afternoon on Sundays.) They’ve ruined the ambiance, though.(I know, «ambiance» at a *Denny’s*!!!) Took out the center booths in the front room and replaced them with tables. Completely different vibe. Plus it’s harder to get a booth, and we like booths. The back room is just awful, as was the service the only time we allowed ourselves to be seated there. Another place ruined for us, and we didn’t have that many to begin with.

After a very long time I went to a Denny’s. It was desperation at 4:00 am on 10/20/2011. A desire for eggs for breakfast and the impatience of not wanting to wait till 6 or 7 am. I sat at the bar and ordered. A 2 egg plain omelet, buttered whole wheat toast and hash browns. The manager made the food and brought it over. Pleasant experience. Last night was a total 180. I went there after midnight and order a veggie burger. A young lady, Shaquli took my order. My friend, the manager was also there. A couple of late night customers were there. Quoted below is what I ordered right off the menu. Veggie Burger Amy’s® Veggie Burger made from fresh organic grains and vegetables with protein-rich soy. Topped with melted Pepper Jack cheese, fresh spinach, tomato and grilled mushrooms on a wheat bun. Served with a side of balsamic vinaigrette and Fit Fare® fresh veggies as your side choice. Fit Fare® Lean: Under 15g of fat. Fit Fare® Fiber: Over 8g of fiber. I pointed this to Shaquli and said that I wanted this the way it was described. She asked me if I wanted regular or seasoned fries. I read the item again to look for fries. She pointed to a picture inn the page and showed me fries. I decided to indulge myself and her ignorance and order seasoned fries. I also requested that the fresh spinach be chopped. Shaquli asked me if I wanted to add fresh spinach. Shaquli went to the register to ring up my order, turned to me and asked what kind of cheese I wanted. I replied that the menu said Pepper Jack. No it did not, she said. My choices were American, white cheddar or Swiss. Well… indulge her ignorance. American, I replied. The order went on the kitchen’s clipboard where the cook asked about the spinach. It took Shaquli some effort to explain fresh chopped spinach. The manager had come around and she turned to him and said that I wanted chopped fresh spinach. I had watched all this in amusement and I jokingly told the manager to just leave the spinach alone. He explained it to the cook who promptly delivered the burger. I ate, got the check from Shaquli which the manager took from me. When he brought the receipt to sign, I gently mentioned the entire interchange. He said she looked promising and I left it at that. If she waits on me next time, I will be very careful:-)

Oh whoop de doo, I’m actually reviewing a Denny’s. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a «First To Review» and in all serious, I’ve probably been to this Denny’s nearly a hundred times. Being a teenager back in the day(and even now) in Sugar Land = limited options. I recently ended up here with my two buddies after we lingered around far beyond the other restaurants’ bedtime. We cringed at the thought of no longer being under 18, yet actually considering entering this business. The menu has been significant trimmed down from my high school days(you know, back when dinosaurs roamed). Their late night menu consists of a few omelettes, steaks(who orders steak at Denny’s??? I need to know what that’s about!), pancakes, and other typical boring American breakfast fare. I think they also offer their burgers. And oh yes, the same olé generic appetizers. This place is basically a dearth of vegan eating. You have your side salad. The fries and the hash browns. Allegedly the English muffin is vegan and of course the cereals. Google is your friend. This place is a little bit more vegetarian friendly — with the eggs and whatnot. Strangely enough, even when I was vegetarian I refused to eat the eggs in any form — I don’t recall why but I think I had an isolated incidence with meat adulteration. .. But man did I love the subpar milkshakes! Anyway, I particularly liked our server. My friend was about to order a bunch of sides and he was kind enough to point out that she could order the exact same things in one of the combo meal and save two dollars. That was pretty kind of him. Also he was just overall a really pleasant guy! It was only us and another couple so I guess this afforded him the luxury of actually getting our orders and requests right on the money — not that we were being all that complicated. This Denny’s doesn’t feel really that homey or comforting. .. just sterile and generic, but look, it’s Denny’s, what do you expect? This will do for suburb late night eating, but had it been just me, I would’ve been fine with Taco Bell drive thru(Taco Bell, it is my secret shame).
