I was in the market for a new foundation so I decided to stop by MAC at Dillards to see if there was anything I liked. This was on a Saturday so the mall was packed so I definitely expected to wait a bit. I decided to browse their samples while I wait for someone when a sweet employee came up to me and asked me if I’d like some help. I ended up telling her that I was looking for a foundation with good coverage and she asked me to sit on the chair while she gathered some samples. What I liked about her was that she was not pushy ATALL. Usually when you go to places they’ll show you a million other things that you didn’t ask to see and push you to buy them. She also gave me her full attention and wasn’t running around helping different customers at the same time. She put on a moisturizer for me and told me about it, but didn’t push it on me. She also showed me several samples of foundation and told me about them before putting them on my skin. I loved the studio fix foundation that she put on me because it matched my skin tone PERFECTLY and was so light weight yet offered full coverage. I absolutely loved the service I was given here and I’m so glad I decided to stop by and check them out. I’m still using the studio fix concealer I bought when I wrote my last review. That little pot lasts forever so it’s definitely worth the price! When I do run out, I’ll definitely be returning to this location to purchase another.

MAC Cosmetics are some of the greatest cosmetics I’ve ever tried. They’re a bit pricey, but completely worthy of that when their products don’t affect your skin in a negative way and when they have something to suit any individual, whether it’s foundations or blushes. They sell anything from skin care items to perfumes to make-up(foundations, powder, blushes, lip gloss, lipstick, eyeshadows). Their selection in each thing is quite abundant and it’s honestly hard to just leave this place buying one thing. They have something to match every skin tone and they have plenty of testers so you don’t have to worry about buying the wrong thing. Normally, you can schedule a makeover with a make-up artist and the cost of the makeover is probably for you to buy a product or products worth $ 40 or more. This particular location is big and there’s a lot more walking space around to look at various cosmetics, while people are having their make-up done. The beginning of this review is quite similar to the review for the other MAC store at First Colony Mall, but the only difference is the five-star rating of this one to the two-star rating of the other one. Why? The make-up artists here are attentive, helpful, and just great. No matter how busy they are, they will always attend to any customers needing just something quick. And I personally haven’t witnessed this, but my cousin has told me that a make-up artist actually gave her a few samples(I’m sure they do this at other locations, but I had gone to Macy’s for so long that I never realized all of this) to take home and figure out the perfect fit of foundation for her skin. Whenever I have gone, the people are great and I’m left completely satisfied with my purchase(duh!) and a smiling face at the sales counter.
