I’m going to start this by saying that I enjoy subway, most of the time. My sister in law & I went into this subway for the first and last time! We ordered our sandwiches(which are simple chicken sandwiches) and sat down to eat. My sister in law then looks at her sandwich wrapper and there are unidentifiable brown smears/streaks. After we made sure there was no possible way her sandwich had the contents in it to possibly make that stain on the wrapper, directly wrapping the sandwich, we took it back to the counter. After explaining to Chiyna(or whatever her name was) she tried to tell us that it was just because of the toaster. We made her show us how that was possible and it was not. We then had to state we wanted a new sandwich, which she reluctantly slapped together, pulled out of the oven too soon, and all but spat in. Then to top it all off, she refused to refund or replace the COLD chicken sandwich. I can’t believe this type of behavior is allowed & I hope whoever manages this place takes care of this situation. How disappointing.

Horrible!!! The lady working there made my sandwich and then my husbands sandwich. She totaled our order and I noticed she only had one glove on. I thought to myself that was odd, she just had two gloves on. Then I thought well maybe she took one off to handle the money, but I remember her handing my husband his change with a glove on. Now I know why that was odd to me. When I got home and opened my sandwich I found a glove rolled up in the paper. She had lost her glove in my sandwich and didn’t even bother to say anything or make me a new one. I would not advise anyone to trust this Subway. The gentleman working with her was on the phone being rude to a customer. I will not be going back to this Subway, they probably are not sanitary at all!

Terrible service. The person that made my sandwich had the worst attitude ever. His name is Frederick in case y’all are all wondering. He didn’t smile. He didn’t greet me. And when it came to check out, I told him two cups of water and he charged me two bottles of water. I told him that I meant two cups of water and he gave us attitude. He said he could get fired for taking it out. I didn’t want to pay $ 4 for water. Anyways, probably one of the worst subways I have ever been to.

Service here is horrible. Their napkins, salad bowls, silverware is never stocked, so when there is a huge line, they take time away from their job to go to the back to grab something. Also, when I get salads, tomato comprises the bulk of my salad. They always put 3 tomatoes and when I ask for some more, they add one more. Each time I ask for more tomatoes, they put only one slice on. The staff is also rude. Seems like they are doing the minimum to just get their paycheck. The food is normal… Usually what you’d expect from a Subway, but the quality of service is subpar.

This place is right next to Krogers and Walgreens. Pretty convenient location if you need to stop by the grocery market or even stop by for some gas(there is a pump at the plaza). This location can be a bit random depending on their workers. Sometimes their workers don’t care whether or not your food is asked to be vegan or not. They just use the same knife or sometimes use the same gloves for everyone’s sub which I found a bit unsanitary. I’m not a vegan so I’m not that uptight. However when I need to order something vegan for a friend I make sure the person changes their gloves just because I do not want my family member/friend to choke on their food. This subway location is not bad, and right now they have their 5 dollar foot long deal so why not take advantage of that?

A coupon for a free 6-inch breakfast sub lured me to this location. I’ve been here before, but last week was not good. I am used to people with accents, coming from an Asian country, but I could not understand the woman working the morning. I had to ask her to repeat everything a few times as if I was deaf. She even asked me, «Do you want white or yellow eggs?» I didn’t know what she meant at first, and I had to ask for clarification twice. Most people ask if you want regular eggs(which incorporate both colors) or egg beaters whites, but I guess she differentiated by color. In fact, she asked if it was my first time at Subway because I was so confused. I denied this was the case. I didn’t have the heart to tell her that I couldn’t understand her English. On top of that, the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sub tasted HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, there was no cheddar cheese, which is the best for this kind of food. She asked if I wanted American cheese, which I confirmed, but she used a cheese that was pale and looked more like provolone. I was confused, but I didn’t say anything. There was no orange cheese on the counter, so maybe she mixed up her colors. For the first time in my life, I now understand what someone means when they complain of a «freezer» taste in their food. The sub was very bland, and I never thought I’d say that when bacon’s involved. I didn’t even taste any bacon fat, which is unusual. I don’t know if the ingredients were really that old, but I couldn’t finish the sub. This is abnormal for me, as I’ve always been taught to finish all of your food. The sub was also completely cold by the time I reached the office ten minutes later. I realize food should be eaten as soon as it’s been purchased, but this kind of to-go restaurant should understand people don’t always eat and drive simultaneously. I now know the reason why this location struggles in the mornings; rarely are there cars here. The Subway off of Eldridge much be much better, as that location is always packed to the point where parking is an issue. I’ll stop there next time instead.
