Pricey. The place is one of the smaller ones. Parking could be better.

The building is gutted and the remolding looks to be starting soon, A fence surrounds the place but I saw a logo on the building. It looked like a bird, but my friend said it’s more like a plane. Look it’s a bird no it’s a plane no it’s Super Taqueria. There seems to be other locations but the owners seem to have a secret identity. no www. Aug and still not finished, The building façade is up. but no word on an opening date. Sep and a for hire sign on the window can it be true grand opening soon after 1 year? see S… Super Taqueria

I maybe one of the few degenerates that have hit most of the Carl’s Jr in the area. Food memories from youth are strong and I say Western Bacon Cheeseburger FTW!

I got the egg burger and it was very good. The dining room was very clean. The cashier was okay. I asked for it to be here but she put it in a bag. I prefer to be given a tray when I am dining inside. Also all the other customers were brought the food to the table they sat at but not me. Oh well maybe the cashier did not like me for some reason. To each there own.

Well it’s May 26 and the manager told us the sad news. They are closing the restaurant come Sunday. The rent was raised so they have to close. Too bad as the food was good and the people that worked there were nice.

Aa-aww, well this is just kind of sad. NO reviews of this place since eight months ago? Don’t nobahdee nopresheeayte traditional good olé Ameriken fass foood from theee origgonal burger mack daddy? Hmm? Mm-hmmmm?! Lesss fixx dat! Rahhht naooooo. Alright alright… enough of my inappropriate obnoxiousity. I’ve been here before– mostly just dash in and get stuff to go. But this time, decided to have early din-din inside this unassuming Carl’s located front side of an equally unassuming mini strip mall. Holy surprise rapture. Wowie. Usually I have low expectations for fast food. I’ve always been pretty satisfied with Carl’s burgers, but I still feel guilty because we all know, it ain’t the healthiest. However, I am SHOCKED at how freaking mmm-mmm-yummm I found the turkey burger. Never seen it on the menu before. Even better: under 500 calories and recommended by some nutrition and fitness expert. I got the guacamole topping. Wheat bun, too. Carl’s really stepped up the game. It was juicy, well seasoned and just hella tasty. Patty may have been mostly ground turkey breast because it was light-coloured, which makes it even healthier. But whatever part of turkey it was, I am TOTALLY fine with and guaranteed to return to order and gobble up more. They better not remove this burger from their menu. I will be extremely disappointed if that happens. :/ I defy you to find an equivalent healthy turkey burger at Mickey D’s, BK, JitB. Or even InO, home of the quote ‘freshest’ [insert eyeroll], but in fact driest, most tasteless, stupid all-crunchy fries that. I pretty much loathe. Just my taste and texture buds probably, but sorry– if you as a burger joint fail to make fries that I can enjoy, I don’t care how popular you are with the masses. You will *never* rate well in my world. Love the fries at Carl’s. Especially my weakness: freshly cooked criss-cut fries. So bad but sooooo good. Yeah I know. It cancels out the health factor of the turkey burger. But they taste awesome. You definitely want the batch to be fried fresh. One stale dry-ish criss-cut slice that snuck into the carton was… blech. The chicken tenders were made to order too, so they were searing hot still. Again, quite good with the very mild honey mustard sauce. Am I spoiled? Maybe I just like my fast food cooked to order, not heat-lamped and microwaved. Another thing I take for granted about this chain, but shouldn’t: you get waiter service for FREE, people! What other fast food places give you a plastic number card and bring you the food you just ordered a few minutes ago? No waiting at the register or listening for a number. Just chill at your table with your people, and the tasty stuff will come to you. The only teeny tiny thing I would improve upon at this particular Carl’s is the women’s restroom. She lacks a mirror. Management please get on that, so I can re-apply lipstick to my greasy but very satisfied with criss-cut potato and guaca turkey lips. :{}

A Carl’s Jr. without a drive through? That’s like non-alcoholic beer!

After working too many hours for several days I had no interest in eating out with my colleagues or going any place fancy so I decided to give CJ a try. The hamburger was very good. I agree that the cook it very well giving it the grilled taste on the outside while keeping the inside moist. The bun and fresh toppings were also of good quality. The french fries, however, were only so-so. The burgers aren’t gourmet but mine was certainly above the norm for a fast food burger. I’d return.

Carl’s Jr. has the best fast food hamburgers around. I’m a fan of the western bacon cheeseburgers in particular. I especially appreciate that they serve a full menu early in the morning — so you can get a burger for breakfast if that’s your thing. Compared to other Carl’s Jr. stores this one has no drive-thru and isn’t paired with a Green Burrito. I’ve never missed either one. I like this location for its comfortable dining area filled with plenty of natural light.

Excellent experience at this Carl’s Jr — I ran in, looking for a late night snack at 12:05AM. The restaurant was technically closed(I do admit it’s kind of lame to close a fast food place at 12:00), but the manager was nice enough to let me inside and whip up 2 Western Bacon hamburgers for $ 5. The downside to this joint is that there isn’t a drive-thru. Arby’s is across the street so if you’re in this area and too lazy to drive very far, I recommend going there.

Again, as it is for all chains I review, this is a general rating for Carl’s Jr. Just as an FYI though, while the address for this location is right, the map is wrong, it’s on the other side of El Camino in the plaza with Phở Quyen and Madras Café. While generally, I think Carl’s Jr is the best fast-food burger you can get, quality-wise(yes, better than In-N-Out), you have to remember that being a chain, you’ll have some give-and-take with the various locations. Generally speaking, I’ve found pretty high level of consistency across the stores I’ve been to though. Anyways, nowadays when I go to Carl’s Jr I always only get one thing, a Six-Dollar Burger meal. It’s pretty straight-forward. Quality-wise, in terms of the product your getting, it’s pretty good, I mean you have to remember this is relative to other fast-food joints, obviously you can’t really compare it to someplace like Red Robin or Fuddruckers(where I have yet to go). While it’s a little on the pricier side(relative to say In-N-Out, which has the best deal for the best quality burger but not the best quality burger, there’s a difference) it is the best fast-food burger I’ve yet to taste, at least the best fast-food burger that you don’t have to go way out of your way for(while most burger places are considered«fast-food» I don’t really think that’s the case when you have to drive an extra 20 miles just to get there). There are also a variety of sides, the criss-cut fries being the most popular, though you can’t go wrong with onion rings, and the fried zucchini is really good. Let me hammer this in one more time: best FASTFOODCHAIN burger available. I’d stack it up fairly evenly with The Habit in Davis(which I don’t consider really a fast food chain despite it being relatively a fast food place, it’s confusing, I know).
