My first Unilocal review and it’s for Taco Bell. I’m not even a huge fan of the food – I just wanted to win a Limited Edition Gold PS4 Bundle. Frequently, fast food workers are tired and unmotivated. That is not the case at this Taco Bell. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the name of the young man who took my order, but his interpersonal skills were stellar. Rather than just sending me to the drink machine when I was ordering, he very patiently pointed at the signs and helped me understand what my options were. He completed my order with panache. While I waited for the food, I observed him wiping down tables(it’s a very clean Taco Bell) and he asked another group how their meal was as they left. They too seemed pleased with his kindly demeanor. My order was soon ready and it was time to go home to eat. On the way to the car, another employee who was outside on break told us to have a good night, and as we drove off he waved again. I felt like I really belonged at this Taco Bell. I didn’t win the PS4, but I’d be willing to try again at this location. ;)

I don’t really know why I’m reviewing this Taco Bell. I guess it’s nice to know that my car won’t be broken into while I purchase my guilty pleasure that is a Crunchwrap Supreme. And that the workers are pleasant. And they actually get my order right. And I won’t get asked for spare change while I’m in line. And there’s no poop on the sidewalk. And people aren’t sleeping in the booths. And it’s clean. *Sigh* Suburbia fast food chains win this time.

Nice ambience, clean place. The service was super fast, we got our order before it was billed. The food was simple and good.:

This is the second time Taco Bell messed up on my quesoritos I ordered steak twice and they continue to rob me of my money because steak is more expensive than beef and disappoint me with their inconsistency. Definitely gotta re-educate these workers or get rid of em and hire a new staff. Smh

Good service, decent food, and the restaurant is always clean. While I only go to Taco Bell five or less times per year, I have lived near this location for over seven years. The customer service is always top notch, and the food is always prepared very fast. Regarding the food… Well, it’s Taco Bell, so there’s nothing amazing to say about it. You eat here when you’re too tired/lazy to cook at home. Anyway, what I like most about this location is that the food quality stays consistently decent. Other Taco Bell locations can learn from this location. Another plus about this location is that the restaurant is always kept clean. When I think about it, this is probably the cleanest and most modern looking Taco Bell location in the South Bay. If you need some quick junk food, this is a good place to check out.

One star is for the coffee. Not that the coffee is bad, they just don’t know how to make it I guess. Dozens of times I have ordered coffee with my fast food breakfast. Not one single time was the coffee ready when the food is ready. Not Once. So the whole order is ready before it occurs to them to make the coffee. Every single time. It’s not rocket science, just start the coffee first! I do not like watching my food get cold for five minutes while they make coffee. Come on Taco Bell! It’s Coffee, & you don’t even have to pick the beans!

Hungry at 11pm and stuck in Sunnyvale? Uhh, bad idea. Well, as said earlier, desperate times, desperate measures. A big Taco Hell sign illuminates El Camino from miles away so why wasting any more gas circling around this little town… I give in. The place seems undoubtedly empty, and — dark. Only a flashy neon sign suggests«open». Well, my stomach and I agreed already on some unhealthy choices for this night but what’s that — a locked door? I’m confused. How does«open» and a locked door go together? Then again, I’m at Taco Bell. Everything goes together here. In this case, the store closes at 10pm. Drive-through only. 10 minutes later I had messed up my car seats with the crunchy remains of a Chicken quesedilla, an XXL taco, and a burrito with an undefined filling. Now, where’s Pizza Hut?

This place has gotten my order wrong on numerous occasions. When I have told them that I want a «meatless» meal, and specifically«no meat, please substitute beans», I see the change come up on their drive– thru order screen and yet I have found that they have messed up my order and put in beef instead. I have had to come back and complain at the register and get a refund for my food as a result of their mix up more than once. It’s almost like the people who work here fill the orders on auto pilot or just don’t communicate the customization of orders to the people putting the food together. Highly disappointing! Would definitely suggest checking your order in the parking lot before you drive away.

I recently made a «Run for the border» for the first time in about a year. Although I used to eat at the ‘Bell frequently in the distant past I generally don’t think much of them anymore. That’s especially true since I moved to California, where great Mexican(and Central/South American) food abounds. This Sunnyvale restaurant definitely wins style points. It’s all dressed up with fancy décor. Tables and chairs sport vivid accent colors against black backgrounds. It’s like it’s trying to be a hip club. A hip club that serves 99 cent«B33fy» burritos. Putting lipstick on a pig much? The Taco Bell menu has a huge variety. I remember years ago there were, like, 10 items on the whole menu. But today, as a result of all the experiments and branding cross-overs they’ve done, there are at least 50 choices. There’s something for everyone now.(If everyone likes Taco Bell food, that is.) The staff in this restaurant seem fairly well organized. They take your order, assemble it correctly, and call your name. Those would seem to be the basics of food service, but the pathetic state of the so-called service industry today is such that nailing the basics is worthy of praise. Mostly recently I tried the drunken burrito, one of the specials. It looked kinda fancy, sitting there in its fancy little dish, though it was a plastic dish atop a «Hey kids!» paper mat on a plastic tray. The sauce was bland and the meat was dry. Lipstick on a pig, again. At a sit-down Mexican restaurant I’d send it back, but for $ 4 fast food it was okay.

Hard to imagine, but excellent service at the drive-thru by Christina! Basic Taco Bell food, but that’s what I went there for. Just so happened the woman on the other side of the«squawk box» had a positive, upbeat sounding voice, friendly, but quick and efficient. We are all so quick to complain… let’s compliment too, when it’s earned. Nice job Christina.

It’s a fairly standard taco bell. Came here with a friend to try the new cool ranch doritos tacos. It’s better than the nacho cheese(red) version. Service was super friendly, so +1 star for cheerful awesome employees. Other than that, it’s just super average. Also, I think there is access to the parking lot from both streets(it’s on the corner of a street)

Out of all the Taco Bells that I have been to, this one is definitely the nicest. The people are super friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food is consistently good. I recommend coming here for a late night snack or for a dinner when you don’t have time to cook. :)

I decided that I’d have a traditional kid’s fast food birthday for my 30th since I had never had one growing up. Date of party was 1-8-2012. We called ahead of time to make sure it was ok if we brought a large group and if we had to make special arrangements. None were required(They do NOT take reservations) but they did kindly tell us that the dinner rush would be over after 7. We were a group of about 25. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We all ordered our meals separately. Food was fast and hot and there were no complaints about botched orders. All employees were super friendly. The location is interesting, circular inside — with a big skylight. The staff welcomed us to stay as long as we wanted and never made us feel pressured to leave. They even checked in with us to see if we needed anything. At the end of the night, when there were no other customers to tend to, a couple of staff members took a few moments to judge our pipe-cleaner animal contest. I’ve also eaten here on other occasions and the dining room is always clean and staff is friendly.

I’m a Taco Bell fan, but this location is strange if you eat inside. They’re always cleaning and arranging sauce packets in perfect configurations, even when there is no need. OCD workers? It makes the dining experience beyond odd. But the food is fine. TIP: The cherry limeade is curiously refreshing.

This is a great place if you are looking for a late night eat and something cheap, but for any other reason you should probably not come here. It has good tacos and decent burritos for all under $ 2, but after getting food poisoning and having stomach aches all night it doesn’t seem too worth it. Eat at your own discretion, usually Taco Bell food is safe but every once in a while you have a risk of being the unlucky one.
