They literally have taken 30 min to give us our food and we are still waiting. There is not that many people either. Really disappointed with the Denny’s industry lately. Two Denny’s now that take hella long to give us our food.

Wifi is horrible. Better they remove it then having a crap Internet. The food came fast, however my side rice was so little that is ridiculous to pay $ 3 for this amount. And don’t bring your computer, they don’t offer plugs. Last time I came here.

Just let it be known, this establishment does not pick up their phone under no circumstance for call in orders. Please get and train new management and fire all your employees.

Wow…, is this really a Denny’s??? The food was actually good and the ingredients actually tasted fresh. Don’t usually eat at Denny’s for this reason…, but I really have to say the service, cooks, and management are on point. Working in the area and ate there twice…, the thick cut bacon is a little on the thin side though(I’m a bacon connoisseur).

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today. I was hoping for a great breakfast meal but it wasn’t as good as I thought it was gonna be. The waitress was super slow & the place wasn’t packed. The bacon was flavorless and was really dry, the eggs were okay, the milk tasted really funny and the bread wasn’t all that great. The only good thing I saw was the manager helping out his workers, great management otherwise we are never coming back.

Great experience. Food is inexpensive and comes really fast. Jorge was our server, he was awesome. I got the new spicy skillet. I added a lil Cholula to spice it up. Mmm kids meals are suprisingly large. The waiter forgot the oj for my daughter but no worries we weren’t charged for it. We will definitely come again!

My favorite thing at Denny’s is their grilled tilapia with wild grain rice and grilled zucchini and squash veggies. Super delicious and a healthier alternative to all the other stuff. I believe it’s only on the senior menu and you get a side salad and garlic bread with the order. It’s actually a lot of food and I’m always super full after eating it. Ask for them to make the tilapia extra crispy as that is the best way to have it! The fish is seasoned well and the wild grain rice is delicious. It’s my favorite. The veggies are tasty too. The garlic bread is nice and crunchy, a little bit too salty though and the side salad could have been a little more fresh. Overall, they make it pretty well and I’d come back just for the tilapia dish. Looks like this place had a remodel since the last time I was here. It looks a lot more open and nicer. Lots of booth seating. They could have used some extra staff for faster service, however, the workers were really nice and helpful.

Good food, good service, comfortable family friendly ambiance, good value. We normally go there on Friday evenings and like it. Our kids love it too. Danielle and Angel are among the good servers.

Came here last night after watching a movie with my family. There was no wait and the service was great. We were there around 12:30am and not really from the Sunnyvale area. There are bars nearby and Denny’s 24⁄7 service attracts those who are hungry after. Some of the drunks do end up being really loud and coming in with a large party that you may have to sit by. I wouldn’t come here after 11:30pm just because of the large crowds and noise. But for the most part, prior to the clubs closing, it’s quiet and the server’s attention is all on you.

If you like breakfast food for lunch, and I do, then Denny’s is perfect. There’s the Grand Slam Slugger, which has two eggs with has browns, two sausage links, two pieces of bacon, and two pancakes, with coffee, for $ 8! You can’t make it this inexpensive at home. If you’re watching carbs or any diet in general, this dish isn’t for you. The service is attentive and quick. It’s become a default lunch place for me and co-worker who also likes breakfast for lunch.

Service was ok for being slammed at 1 am after a concert we had to send have food sent back and made over but in the end they made it right. My only issue was the fact that I had to stand at the front counter for 20 minutes before even one word was said to me about a table.

I recently had dinner at this location(Mathilda/101), and was surprised to find the level of service to be much higher than what is typical of Denny’s. The young hostess/greeter(Daniela?) was courteous, polite, efficient – and clearly engaged in the customers’ needs. The waiter(a middle-aged Latino man with a mustache) was also excellent. The restaurant is obviously well-managed because the level of service was consistent amongst all employees with whom I interacted. I very much appreciate this calm and sincere – yet efficient – approach to customer service. The«in your face» style practiced by other similar restaurants is at times too much to bear. Please note that this 5-star rating is for the service only, as Denny’s food is generally the same at all locations(about 3 stars).

I like this one for one, it’s close to my place and the service is great too. I tried the double cheeseburger. Very good and great taste. Clean inside and good music playing.

Ok, it’s a Denny’s. Menu here the same as everywhere. However, the servers here start prompt and peter out pretty darn quick. It’s like«Welcome», order, quick food delivery… then become David Copperfield and disappear. Two meals: 1. Breakfast. No offers for a coffee refill, no check… cashier had to ring it up from my word. 2. Dinner. No check or checking on how the food was. Oh yeah, Denny’s chefs– Mac & cheese is NOT shells with some weird cheese sauce poured over them. Good thing I’m a old fart AARP member that gets a 15% discount. that became the inattentive servers tips.

While visiting the greater San Jose area, my wife and I stayed at the Motel 6, which is next door to this Denny’s. We are fans of Denny’s, especially while traveling in the USA, and have come to respect the company for its tight franchise control, consistent products, and a welcoming casual ambience. Our plan was to eat at this Denny’s at least 7 – 10 times during our week’s stay at the Motel 6, depending on our plans with family and friends. Our first(and only, as it turns out) visit started off nicely, as expected. We were promptly greeted and seated, given dinner and dessert menus and waters(after our request, of course, the drought and all). Our meals arrived in a timely way, and the food was up to Denny’s standards, as expected, but then. .. the comforting music being piped in overhead was suddenly and completely overpowered by tinny, screechy, disturbing Mariachi music blasting away from a boombox in the kitchen. The other patrons stopped eating and looked around in dismay as did we. The piped in music continued, but was brutally drowned out by the boombox bedlam, which continued loudly and unabated. I summoned the waiter and asked him what was going on, to which he replied something to the effect that the cook likes to do that. I asked him if the cook cares about the customer’s needs, to which he merely shrugged. We paid and left, our meals partially uneaten. I hope the franchise owner reads this review. We never went back.

As everyone already knows danny’s is good for late night dinner cause it never closes ! I usually go for one of omelets or tilapia dish. It is a chain store. It doesn’t matter which location you go, foods pretty much taste the same. Only difference would be the service. This location is not bad at all, but also nothing special. I’d only go here for late night dinner when every other good restaurants are closed already.

I’ve never been disappointed by this Denny’s. My mom’s first waitressing job was at Denny’s so I grew up on their pancakes, and they are a comfort food for me when I miss her. This location matches all my expectations. Today I sat in Sandra’s section and she has been — by far — the best service I’ve ever had here. She recommended a new skillet, stopped by with coffee(and more cream!) regularly, and didn’t rush me while I puttered through this review. This has become my «regular» Denny’s because it just works here.

I do not remember the first time I was here because I was typically drunk out of my mind or blacked out!(very bad on my part) What I have been told was that I was mean and demanded food right away, but ended up messing up the restrooms and yacking all over the parking lot. That night was seriously a blur and happened after having a GNO at Pure Lounge. Just last week I went here with some friends after Pure so I could sober myself up to drive home. Everything was as usually how a Denny’s would run. A lot of drunk people there and parking lot filled. Food tasted good since I was buzzing a bit. All the Denny’s I ever been to, had made my food well and constant. How can you go wrong with French Toast, RIGHT?

Typical Denny’s with lots of yummy food to eat. This location is better than most for late night food. The service is fast and courteous. I have never had a problem with the service. Pros: fish & chips, milk shakes, onion rings, and grand slams Cons: small shared parking lot with multiple motels; bathroom always stinks due to poor ventilation; silverware is not always clean
