Arrived at 9:45 and chef made it extremely clear that we were not welcomed to dine it. The restaurant closes at 11 pm. Definitely would not recommend anyone to experience the same service.

I would give 5 out of 5 on lunch special. Such a good deal on lunch special! Ginger salad dressing was good with the variety of veggies. Sushi and California rolls are good. Korean side dishes are top notch.

Sushi is warm. They won’t let you in after 10pm even though they close at 11. There are better options in the area.

People here on here crying about the price. Others complaining about the service. Cmon man. The price is very reasonable. 13 buffet including fresh sushi and freshly cooked Korean dishes. Good luck getting that at the golden coral. Another thing the service, these people hardly speak English don’t be surprised if something is lost in translation. Just Coke for the food you won’t have an issue

I have been coming here since it opened and am pretty happy with the quality of the food and the comfortable atmosphere. Only eating here for lunch with the buffet or the togo option my review is limited to only that and not ordering from the menu. The people are super nice and there are so many good seating options for a relatively small place. Sit at a table, sushi bar or your own little room option which is great for business lunches or with the family. While they brand it as a sushi buffett it is not all they have on it. They have a pretty kicking amount of salad options, hot dishes and Korean side dishes. The salads are pretty amazing and they change often on the bar. I personally like the miso dressing they have which I usually put over purple cabbage they have cut fresh. Also enjoy the shrimp salad which is a winner in my book too. The hot area gives a decent assortment of meat, rice/noodles and veggie items and again is always changing. I enjoy the fried mushrooms and the different Korean meat dishes they substitute out. My kids love the edamame and fried rice which they almost always have. Then we have the side dishes(which part of exist in salad area too) are pretty solid and they sometimes will have soup options here too, but I forgot to mention they always bring you a miso soup with your buffett. Then we have the sushi which like the rest of the place changes often for the rolls. You always get a Cali roll and the sashimi is what you expect with tuna, salmon, egg, etc. The rolls are always an adventure that turns out good and they keep it stocked and made fresh. The sashimi is what is lacking most here. Overall it is not awful, but cut very thin and just not that great overall. Lots of rice with a small cut of fish… Which is my docking of one star for. Otherwise this is a pretty good spot and I recommend you check out if you have not!

Came with my co-workers on a Thursday for the lunch buffet. The price was 12.99 which I thought was expensive, but the quality of the food was good. There was not as much sushi as I expected and there was no sashimi. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. I would come here again, but at that price I would not come very often.

I really enjoyed the Snow White roll. The shrimp tempera were nice and crunchy and the salmon was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back.

Annually, my grandmother gets our families together and buys us dinner at Kang Buk! It’s always around 20+ people and we’re a pretty rowdy bunch. I ended up getting two rolls, unagi and spicey tuna. Of course, we just all ended up sharing once all our orders came out. Other items on the table were. salmon and tuna sashimi, more rolls centering around spicey tuna and unagi, udon, Maeuntang(spicey fish soup), katsu(for the little ones). Everything was delicious and it was A LOT of food. The rolls were HUGE, especially the eel. The end slice of the eel roll had a disgustingly long«tail?» I also stole a few bites of my newphew’s katsu: D The other table opted for the sashimi platter combos. These combos come with awesome side dishes so if you have a good number of people, they’re worth it. Unfortunately. I didn’t take pictures because my phone ran out of battery T. T

Went for their sushi buffet and had high expectations since I’m a big sushi/sashimi fan. Enjoyed their selection and their ginger salad and miso soup, of course I had to ask for more. BUT, word of caution, EATYOURRICE. There’s a separate price for sashimi and the servers will not hesitate to threaten to charge you extra if you just pick off the sashimi on top and throw away the rice. Ok I get it, i’ll eat my rice(or at least try to hide it), but that does not give you an excuse to continue to act so rude towards me. Never piss off an old waitress, they’ll bat you down with their glares and treat you with disdain(from my experience). I understand how indifferent old Asian servers get and I’ve been to plenty of authentic places, but this one was just a gem. Was just happy to be out.

The sushi was really bad! The salmon was faded pink, leathery, and very fishy tasting. I couldn’t believe it! Service was ok. I recommend sushi kinyobee if you want good sushi in the Suwanee area.

Service is really terrible — waiters were blatantly trying to make us leave despite the lunch BUFFET. Quality is alright; selection is small. They need new management and servers.

I recently had their lunch buffet. I know the price has steadily been going up each year, it was $ 12.99 when I went this past weekend. While their selection is small, I think the quality is pretty good for the price. They’re constantly replacing the dishes because they get pretty busy during the weekend. The quality of the food is much better during dinner when you order off the menu. The buffet is definitely about quantity, but if you’re looking for quality try going for dinner. you won’t regret it.

This is probably the best sushi buffet in Suwanee(Gwinnett Area). It has cute little rooms and more dining space in the middle. This place gets super busy fast because of their lunch buffet! So either come early or late if hate waiting. The longest I have waited is about 20 minutes. One time I came here with a group of friends. We shared a table with a couple. Thats how busy it was. I love how clean this place is. They label everything in the buffet line by stating the start and discard times. They used to put wasabi under the fish for the nigiri. I am happy they stopped because not everyone can handle the wasabi. I used to hate wasabi, so I would not eat the rice. I would eat only the fish. The server went to tell the manager that I was wasting a lot of rice. The manger threaten to charge me another meal(at that time it was $ 10) if I continue to do not eat the rice. I was really mad at that time, so I did not return for a very long time. My prior visit was nice though. My server was super sweet. I only had to hide some of my sushi rice. haha I am a sashimi eater! Not a big fan of nigiri. The fish and rolls are pretty fresh because the chefs have to continue making them due to the amount of customers. Don’t forget to ask for miso soup. It is unlimited! Well the broth anyways. This place has only nigiri, several sushi rolls, salad, and a selection of the usual korean dishes(soba noodles, dumplings, korean chicken wings, fried rice, noodles, & etc). I do not think it has seaweed salad though. Sad. The only form of dessert that have is the small donut balls frosted with sugar. No ice cream here. I still prefer to eat at real sushi restaurants instead of the all you can eat places.

They have a daily lunch Buffet which is reasonable priced but, the selection of food is smaller than other buffets. I like the way they cut up their vegetables, nice and thin. They give you unlimited Miso soup, if you ask for it and the Green Tea is stronger than what you’ll find at other Japanese/Korean restaurants. The sushi is just OK as I find that the rice is cold and a bit hard for my liking but it isn’t to the point of being so detrimental that I’d give less stars. For what you pay for the buffet, less than $ 13 before tip, it is still a good value for the money. They have even added a cold noodle station where you can get your fill of Buckwheat Noodles. For a Korean owned restaurant, the service is actually very good, for the most part.

Great sushi lunch buffet! This is located in the strip mall to the right of the Suwanee Super H. It is very fresh and decent sushi for $ 12. They also offer dumplings and some other goodies along with the buffet, but no dessert.

Cheap priced for lunch sushi buffet. 11.99. Pretty busy place, and the sushi keeps coming out fresh. Its made to replenish as the sushi runs out. Its not one of those sushi places that has premade sushi thats being brought out. They also have a korean section of foods. Pretty good all around. Its not the best sushi, but its pretty good for the price. There a good amount of raw sushi and cooked sushi for those who look for both. Service is good, place is clean.

I’ve only been here for the lunch buffet The buffet is supposedly a «sushi buffet» it’s more of a buffet that has some sushi. Overall the buffet is split 70⁄30 between Korean and sushi. The Korean dishes aren’t bad and is actually why I go for this buffet. The sushi just consists of a 3 – 4 different rolls and 3 – 4 different types of nigiri. Usually, at this buffet my plan of attach is to stay with the Korean dishes, pick up a couple pieces of rolls and avoid the nigiri. I don’t know what this place is like for dinner but will give them a shot.

Took my parents here, and lunch buffet is still $ 10.99 for Korean/Japanese food although it might cost more on Sat/Sun. Buffet is available Mon-Sun 11:30 — 2:30pm. Try to get there early to avoid lines — by 12:15, the lines were forming. Buffet selection is less than Cho-Won Buffet but the quality, cleanliness, and ambiance are much better(they have private booths too) … but you are paying a few more dollars($ 10.99 vs. $ 7.99). My favorite items were their salad items(love their ginger dressing), miso/kelp soup, and oranges(yes, their oranges). While my first review said it was worth the drive, I think I’d probably come back only if I were in the area. FYI — they have warning signs that say they will charge $ 10.99 extra if you don’t eat the rice in the sushi.
