Never ever fails!!! There’s always going to be something missing from your order if you do take out. Always check your food! Even if they roll their eyes, huff and puff. Check your order! They will charge you and then leave stuff out. They don’t care and it’s incredibly aggravating. Completely ruined my appetite. By the time you get home it’s to late to call and complain cuz your either to far or frustrated to go back. If I could I would negative stars. Reading other reviews you would think the manager would go over what is being complained about and correct it. Nope. Nope nope nope.

Man. I brought my folks here to get some breakfast. We never got it. That’s sad. The waitress didn’t even come check on us. We sat down at 915, ordered. Got our drinks. My folks got a coffee refill. Three tables were sat after us. Ordered after us. Ate before us. This table behind me ordered the same thing I did. Ate it before I did. Waited until 10. Went to ask what the deal was. No answer. Wait she said. I KNOW I TOLDTHEM. Told who? Not us. Not that our order got messed up. Like. That’s YOUR Job. You have one thing to do. Anyway. They didn’t care about losing our business. They didn’t care about customer service. I don’t care about putting them on blast. Thank you for not serving us.

This Denny’s used to be great. Good, quick, and friendly service but now, I brought my family here to eat and mind you it wasn’t so busy, it took about 15 mins for someone to come over and say, «oh you guys haven’t ordered yet?» I had asked for a kids menu to order something for my son and what I got was a paper copy of a crappy and faded menu! Food was ok, but the service is lacking big time. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here anymore, it’s a shame because I used to like this one!

Awesome service! I’ve always enjoyed Denny’s food when on a budget. This location here in the SFV offers fresh food with exceptional customer service! I got the quesadilla burger off of the«$ 4,$ 6,$ 8» menu and it was delicious as usual! BOTTOMLINE: Fast service, friendly staff, great Denny’s location!

Our waitress was appalling. I attended a meeting today held around 11 am which was not busy. I arrived after others who already have their ordered drinks. I sat for 15 minutes listening to the speaker, and waiting for the waitress to come around to take my ordered. She Never came. I finally asked her politely for a glass of water, which I saw was on a tray by her side. She acknowledged me and resume to pass the three water to other guesses who had drinks and water. I thought, alright she’s going to bring some more water. She returned with more drinks and water. This time I thought good one of those glass has my name on it because I’m so thirsty. She pass all the water out and even offer the extra water to a girl sitting across from me. I asked her again, «when you get a chance can I get some water.» To make it short, after the fourth time of asking, I blurted out that«I have asked you more than three time for water.» I’m surprised that had blurted out like that, because I’am a super shy person. She made no apologies just walked away and came back with a glass that had chips and cracked around the rims. I gave up! Had to run to my car to get a bottle of water. OMG what is the problem with this women! I mean I was very respectful toward her when I was asking. My sister in-law and uncles often reserved meetings hear for their dental associated meetings, but from now on, I will book our meetings elsewhere.

Horrible service! Negative stars would be more appropriate. It took over 15 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us. The person who ended up being our waitress, Norma, passed by us several times without so much as an I’ll be with you shortly. She was a quite large woman so it took her a while to get around which just added to our wait. When she did come to take our order she had attitude like we were bothering her, especially when we asked questions about items on the menu. While there we saw 3 different parties try and wave her down for their check because it seemed like she was in her own world. One party even stopped the hostess as she sat someone and asked she get the check from Norma. It seemed Norma was not the only waitress not paying attention, most of them would stay congregating around the register area talking. Food was ok but definitely would not return.

Been eating here at this dennys for 45 minutes. Nadia is our server but I can say she sucks she has not offered us anything. We have to continue asking Stephanie to bring us coffee or what ever we need. Stephanie has been great and making sure we get all out food and coffee. Nadia has been standing around talking to other co-workers and not attending any of her tables. I give her 0 on guest services and next time I come back if she’s going to be our server I rather not come to eat here.

I don’t normally criticize Denny’s, because well it’s Denny’s. But my experience here was horrible mainly because of the service. The food was average and that’s the reason for the 2 stars. I think our waitress was actually the hostess. Which I’m completely understanding of. However, she didn’t bring my full order because she forgot to put it in. We never got water refilled by anyone. The condiments on the table that actually had anything left in them were covered in gunk, which I accidentally touched and immediately was disgusted. We had to wait a long while to get out check because she was seating tables. I was going to order a slice of pumpkin pie to go but decided I didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes. To my surprise my boyfriend got the pumpkin pie in a container to surprise me. She gave him the wrong pie. I feel bad for even being angry but some sort of customer awareness would have been nice.

Just tried to give it one more time… FAIL! This time the food and service was good and I let my server know this by the tip. However when we get to the front to pay for our bill and use our emailed coupon for 20%off we we told it had to be printed… so why send a coupon with a bar code??? And the manager Pedro could not bypass this… he pointed out a sign posted at the register, well who goes to the register before ordering? It’s not about the 20% it’s about customer service!

My girlfriend and I came here and have always not thought that much of the food. However, this visit the dish and service were just great. We got got in really late and ordered the philly-steak sandwich. It was awesome. The side of the restraunt we were sitting in was very loud, so the manager happily moved us to the closed section. Great late night recommendation!

I ordered 2 spagethi w/meatball to take out. When i pick up my order i waited a few minutes for the order. When i got home ready with my wife to eat our dinner, surprisingly my wife after mixing the sauce and the noodles she caught a paper wrapper on it. I checked my boxed and saw the same thing. I immediately called the restaurant and told the manager about our amazing discovery. I simply asked him to prepare me a new one and i will pick up as i return the amazing spag with paper wrapper. At the store when i showed him the food with paper wrappers, his excuse was the paper is to protect customers. That is why they keep the paper in the box with the food. I guess an amazing food contamination/poisoning discovery deserves an amazing excuse from the manager. Readers beware, customer of denny’s at gladstone in sylmar. You be the judge. Eat at your own risk… For me there is no excuse for that and it doesn’t deserve a crazy excuse like that… Bad business, bad service. Poor management. The replacement Spag i got was sooo spicy. I dont know about u guys. But this was the first for me… Have u eaten a spicy Spag before??? Dont get me wrong guys. I like denny’s i always order to go or eat in at Denny’s but since i move back to sylmar. I think this is the worst i have been to… I dont think i will ever recommend this location to any of my friends nor i will ever go back here again. I will travel a little bit more to eat than deal with this location again. Sorry Gladstone location.

Usually the service is… ok… but, today was horrific. It took forever to take our order, the food was absolutely terrible, and my server not once checked in on me until it was time for me to pay. Also, it wasn’t even full, so there was really no excuse. Money wasted.

It’s a Dennys so you already know what to expect. We didn’t wait long to be seated, nor did we wait long to order our drinks or food. I ordered a hot chocolate which wasn’t as hot as I wanted it to be it ended up being kind of lukewarm towards the end of my meal. My food was good although a little burned on one of the sides. Overall it was ok if they could maybe start giving out a few more napkins as opposed to the one they give you with the cutlery that would be great.

Ajacent to the Denny, s drive way. The ower takes the money from Sylmar, but neglects the surrounding of his parking lot; the Homeless situation. I’ve been trying to have him clean up the homeless, who have made his lot their home! it’s been three years now! The owner takes the Symar money, but doesn’t invest it to improve our area. Cut the tree down and get the homeless out !
