Starbucks

There is so much construction happening on Main St that I have avoided coming here for months. My need for caffeine took over and I found the alternate entrance from the Walmart parking lot. I love Starbucks that have a drive thru. The smell of coffee is nice but it can be obnoxiously overpowering in some coffee houses. Big points to this Starbucks for having a quick drive thru with a cheerful barista on a early Sunday morning. The praline crunch latte was delish paired with a warm flaky croissant.

Worst, Starbucks. Ever. I live in The Colony, so this location SHOULD be convenient for me. However, it’s really the opposite of convenient since the staff seems determined to make the experience as frustrating and miserable as possible. In the past 4 weeks, I have visited this location approximately 10 times, and NOT ONCE have they gotten my order correct. They make me repeat myself several times in the drive-​thru because they’re not listening, talking to other people, slow, understaffed, training, blahblahblah. Next, I have a heart condition that makes it unwise to ingest caffeine, so I always very clearly ask for a decaf selection. When I get to the window to pick up my order, I ask to make sure it’s decaf. 100% of the time, they have to remake it to make sure because nobody can remember what the hell they’re doing… the worst part? Sometimes, the second round is still not decaf, as is told moments later by my racing heart. Orders are completely wrong, given to the people in front of us, missing ingredients (blueberries for your blueberry oatmeal? Good luck getting those!) and worse? The employees have bad attitudes, bad ideas of what constitutes a proper work ethic and are slooooooowwwww. Avoid.

Its a Starbucks… what can you say. Mediocre coffee beans as a corporate coffee company but location has great employees. No interior seating. Has a drive thru and walk up window.

Inadequate staff! Tried to order an ice coffee with sugar free sweetener and extra whipped cream. Staff not prepared to answer basic questions about carb count etc. messed up order and got a refund. Manager on duty seemed as if he didn’t care! Store is dirty inside and out. Won’t be back. considering this is an up and coming area change is needed big time!

I love this drive-​in Starbucks, quick and easy, friendly staffs. I always happy with my coffee here, not like few other Starbucks Coffee I’ve been to.

No indoor seating, but comfy outdoor seating and clean restrooms. I was first in line at 7AM, so I didn’t have any wait at all, but I am sitting in the parking lot and the line appears to be moving at a decent pace.

This is a small Starbucks and there is no inside seating. I’m okay with that because they have a drive thru. They make your drink really slow but I think it’s because they only have two people working inside. i would still come back here because Starbucks is really good.

Avoid at all cost! This is the second time that I’ve had bad experiences! First time was being in drive thru for 20 min before we could order, then another 15 to get our drink… today, there was a HAIR in my drink. Told the barista/​cashier, he brushed it off and wouldn’t let me order something else! Wth right?

Coffee was fine, but may be the worst experience for any Starbucks location I’ve been to. Service was minimal, even unfriendly. Bottomline, this a drive-​up version of a Starbucks with a few chairs and tables thrown outside.
No inside seating. You park, step up to an outside window, and order. Then, if you want to stay, you wobble up to a chair.
Good for a caffeine fix, if you must, but I suggest you do the drive-​thru.

Terrible service. Poor management. The past three visit to this starbucks my food had been cold, incorrect, and drinks made wrong. I will no longer give my business to this location.

Great Starbucks hands down has the best and freshest iced coffee around. Staff isn’t always friendly but really everyone has their days, and not everyone wants to work, but the drink is almost always good and that’s all that matters to me.

They’re good baristas but they definitely aren’t interested in customer service or efficiency.

Took waaaaay too long AND they got my order wrong. I love Starbucks, just not this one.

Although I’m not a fan of Starbucks corporate, every now and again I’ve gotta get my Chai fix. There’s nothing super special about this location but the one thing that sets it apart from other locations is the staff (and the fact that you can’t go in and sit). These people are always so cool. It’s a drive thru/​walk up only and normally there’s nothing fun about a drive thru. They mess up your order, you can’t understand them or the person on the other end is just so robotic. But, every single time I’ve gone here I get a nice person who sounds genuinely happy to take my order. Granted I don’t go when the line is 30 cars long. But I’ve had to wait. They move along quickly and they’re polite from order to pick up.
(And sometimes it’s nice to not have to go in where you feel outnumbered by laptops and hipsters)
Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Ugh, sooo not my favorite Starbucks. Does not live up to expectations.
To be fair, I have only been once but this experience was certainly lacking and I’m a big Starbucks junkie so I have definitely been to my fair share of Starbucks locations.
Because the drive-​thru line was hella long I decided to use the walk up window (no interior at this location). Even though there were about 8 baristas inside, they were moving insanely slow. I think 2 cars made it through in the time I waited (which was probably close to 10 minutes in the cold). Oh, and my iced coffee with sugar-​free vanilla was lacking the sugar-​free vanilla. So even with my lengthy wait they couldn’t get my coffee right.
Let’s just say I won’t be trying this location out again any time soon.
And honestly whoever designed the parking lot for this location is crazy. Traffic gets super backed up here between the Starbucks and Chick Fil A. I had to wait over 5 minutes just to be able to back out as the drive-​thru line wrapped around and blocked my car in.

the main thing i like about this location is that they have a walk up window in addition to the drive thru. also, this location is drive-​thru or walk up only. meaning customers don’t go inside. that is a bit odd, but cool as well. the drive through is usually ridiculously crowded in the mornings, so i tend to park and walk up to the window and I am in and out in no time. the customer service is just ok. the brewed coffee always tastes like it isn’t freshly brewed, which is underwhelming when you pay the starbuck’s price. it is right off the highway (121) which makes it convenient.

This location is just plain adorable. If you’re into cute, mini-​versions of the real thing, then this one’s for you. I’d never seen a Starbucks drive-​thru only, so I was excited to try it out.
I pulled up around 7:30 at night, ordered an Iced Skinny Caramel Macchiato and used my Starbucks app on my iPhone to pay. Once at the window, the barista was friendly and my order was spot-​on.
If I’m passing through The Colony again anytime soon, I’ll definitely stop by.

I happen to love this place, I stop by all the time. On the way back from the gym, on the way to the store, on the way to work. The line moves fast and my order is always right. The chicken sausage wrap is awesome for a quick bite in the morning and the protein bistro box is a great choice for after the gym, the roasted tomato and mozzarella panini is good too.

Ordered 7 drinks and they ALL came out wrong. The workers all act like they are surfers out on a vacation. Which I don’t mind if they can groove and get their jobs done but … this is just wrong … sigh*

I wouldn’t normally review a Starbucks location unless it was important. :)
This location, as I surprisingly found out, is a drive-​thru, side-​window ONLY location.
The line was around the block, so, remembering that if you walk inside you’re 5x more likely to get your drink faster than waiting through the drive-​thru, I parked and walked towards the building.
I just always thought this location was just a tiny, tiny store, but boy was I surprised to see the reason why. There’s no inside access for patrons only staff.
Now, don’t get me wrong, these people bust their backsides getting drinks out the «door» and have not gotten my drink wrong ONCE since I’ve been stopping here.
Mad props to these guys and gals, so make sure you tip over and above because really, you’re their only «foot» traffic and possible chance at making some extra cash. :)
