Tiburon is a picturesque bedroom town with unbelievable views of San Francisco. Servino is a dockside restaurant with great Italian food that takes full advantage of those killer views. And, the bartender really knows how to stir up a fantastic Manhattan. The only misstep is the service which is a star short of attentive. If they focused on that the place would be 5 stars all the way.

Escaping the heat in Antioch we arrived at the door A bit before opening time. Instead of just telling us they were closed as has happened a few other times at other places we were told that they would not be open for another 10 minutes but in the meantime we could take our seats and they would be happy to serve us drinks. That was a very good start. Before entering I had noted some items from a brunch menu outside the restaurant only to find that that was the previous day’s brunch(a Sunday) but maybe they could take care of me anyway. They did. I was reminded of a time going on 50 years ago attempting to order a pint of draught Guinness in a hotel that only had bottles and still being served a pint of draught. My smoked salmon brunch was delicious, Judit’s gnocchi were, according to her, excellent except for the olives that she did not like but which I scarfed up. Nits: The tiramisu was just ok and the bread was delivered with no butter of oil. When we asked for some the butter was rock hard though the fact that we were the first customers might have had something to do with that. We would come back. One thing. The view from the downstairs dining room is great. The view from upstairs is outstanding but only available for special functions. I could not even go in to take a picture. If it were my place I think I would try and make that room available to my patrons when there are no special events.

Good service, nice looking place. Food not as traditional as claimed with regard to ingredients; especially oregano that gets put into dishes it simply does not belong in. My daughter was super hungry so we ate at the fits place we came to… walk down the street and there are several more options I suspect are better; at least from reading the menus. Next time.

Our client had given us a few nearby dining recommendations, and we were so happy that we chose Servino Ristorante in downtown Tiburon, CA. The restaurant has a very picturesque Italian kitchen-feel to the main dining room, plus there’s a huge bar area which seems popular with the local ferry boat commuters. The restaurant is just steps away from the Blue & Gold ferry boat docks, and there was a constant stream of people walking by and stopping in. Since the weather was cooperating, we asked to sit outside on the little terrace, and were able to enjoy the spectacular views of downtown San Francisco while we ate our dinner. Servino offers sustainable Italian fare served in a very relaxing atmosphere, and they proudly announce that they were one of the first full service restaurants in Marin County to be certified as a Green Business by the Bay Area Green Business Program. Our group of four ordered a little bit of everything off of the dinner menu, and then sat back and enjoyed the complimentary basket of bread while waiting for our salads. I tried something different, and ordered the Rucola e Barbabietole salad, which was baby beets, pistachios, pickled red onions, arugula, gorgonzola, and apple cider vinaigrette. Very delicious, and quite a change from my usual Caesar salad. For my main course I had Tagliolini con Granchio, which was tagliolini pasta with local dungeness crab, pancetta, shallots, and a touch of cream. Good Lord that was delicious, and clearly something that I can’t find back home in Florida. The menu has a nice variety of salads and antipasti appetizers, with pizzas, pasta dishes, and main course entrées to round out your selections. The food was outstanding, and the view was just amazing. While we were dining, the manager circulated past all of the tables and stopped to speak with the diners. In some cases they were old friends who clearly eat here on a regular basis, while in other cases, Natale was extremely gracious and welcoming everyone. That is a great customer service touch, and one of the reasons that I’ll be back to Servino on my next trip to the Bay area.

It should not be this difficult to leave! The food is decent, but I wouldn’t write home about it. Pricey for the small pasta portions you receive. The pizza is advertised for a single guest, but it is definitely enough for two to split. The server was friendly. **The issue**: We finished our meal and the table was cleared at 6:15. The check came at 6:30. The waiter never asked us if we were together or separate, so we took it upon ourselves to divide the check according. The waiter never returned. Part of this dining experience requires the patrons to hunt down staff members. I went inside and stood at one of the registers to finally get someone’s attention. The waiter finally came over and apologized for taking so long. 7:15 rolls around and our credit cards are still not returned. I go inside again and decide to look for management. The waiter admitted there was a miscommunication on their end as to who was closing us out, nodding to the Italian woman who I believed was just the hostess. She asked me why I was standing there, I advised I have been trying to pay my bill to leave for the past 45 minutes. She told me «one second!» with plenty of attitude, as if its acceptable for ME to wait that long to pay HER. She continues to tell me «one second!» then goes to another table to get a new order. I walk back to my table infuriated only to have the Italian hostess return at 7:20 and give us a lecture on how to pay a bill. She took zero accountability for her inability to swipe a credit card through a machine.

I was in the area on a winter weekday. Most of the restaurants were closed. Servino’s was not my first choice based on my Unilocal search, but was one of the few open businesses. I got lucky! The service here is quick and very friendly. You are provided complimentary fresh bread and olive oil. I had the potato and leek soup of the day, absolutely delicious and very generous portion. Then I had tagliatelle Bolognese. Fantastic. I tried as well their mushroom pizza, it was superb. I very much recommend this place, and would love to go back in summertime when the oceanfront terrace is open.

Great place! Came here while travelling on business and the servers and hostess were all so nice. The food was great, I had the gnocchi and thoroughly enjoyed it [with some wine and bread of course!]. I definitely recommend Servino!

Food was a little bland but the view amazing. We were told one price for a special and it was 2.00 more. They also try to charge 2.00 to split a salad, so just ask for one and share it! I also had to pay for 2 drinks even though one should have been a refill, that should have been communicated as drink was 2.25 and wouldn’t have paid for a 2nd glass of watered down soda.

First time I ever placed a foot in the bay area I came to this place and I thought it was fantastic. I’ve been coming here since 2006 and Im glad that it kept its high quality not only on food but also on the way they treat their patrons always accommodating and ready to make the experience more pleasant with that beautiful view they have outside. Their pastas and salads are amazing, the gnocchi’s are incredible and their pizzas are awesome. Best restaurant in Tiburon IMO. I just want to move to tiburon just to have this restaurant next to me ;)

Place has a nice outdoor seating. Food and service was average, good but not great. There is no food specials at happy hour, but some drink specials. A bit overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. The atmosphere and outside seating is the Great part of the visit.

Servino is an underrated gem. The food is actually excellent — I recommend the tagliatelle and the spiedini. The pasta is fresh and high quality. And the service is great. They even have an extensive gluten-free menu, which was a very pleasant surprise. Even the pastas and pizza can be ordered gluten-free, and the gluten-free noodles are still excellent. Of course, the view can’t be beat! Skip overrated Sam’s and come to Servino instead. I really don’t understand the mediocre reviews on Unilocal.Maybe people’s expectations are too high when the view is so outstanding?

We’ve come here twice now, all the way from SF just for the killer roast chicken. It’s simple and beautiful, with a lovely light rosemary sauce(more like an au jus), steamed kale, and roasted potatoes. It’s the perfect dinner to have by the fireplace or out on the patio. I also had the burrata and broccolini starter, which was also fresh and simple — burrata, broccolini, roasted red peppers, olives, oil, and salt. The pasta dishes are hit or miss, but that roast chicken with rosemary sauce is truly one of my favorite dinners anywhere.

This is a great place to go to when your in Tiburon and also if you have any kind of food allergy they will accommodate you and the outside seating is a nice option. We live in San Francisco and decided to go and explore Tiburon and catch some sun because it was foggy in our city. My son has severe food allergy and I’m still nursing him so we rarely eat out and when we do we have to find a place that accommodates us and we always have to talk to one of the staff or managers there to see if they serve people with food allergy. The person I spoke to was Claudia and she was either the owner or the Manager she was very knowledgeable and helpful and made it very easy for us to dine there. I shared the ribeye with potatoes and brocolini with my allergen child and my husband had the seafood stew and my other son had the penne pasta. The food came out at a quick time. The staff was very attentive and the view was very nice sitting outside. I enjoyed my entrée very much, the steak was nice and tender and the vegetables were sautéed nicely. I’m so happy that we were able to eat out with food allergies, we are definitely coming back. Thank you to Claudia and the chef, the hostess and the other staff that made it happen for us today. Our family enjoyed our outing and is more inspired to try more places because they made it so easy for us to eat out. Food allergy to: Wheat, dairy, corn, eggs, chicken, nuts, and soy.

Great location for lunch or dinner. The banquet room is fantastic. And if you get lucky and no fog, the City will shine in front of you. staff is always friendly and food is good too.

The view and the location are better than the food, but maybe that’s a little unfair of a comparison because the view and the location are pretty close to perfect.

I came here on a Tuesday for a late lunch with a group of 10! The view from the first floor patio was just ok however the view from upstairs patio is outstanding! We sat on the first floor patio! We had calamari and chicken skewers for appetizers. I had the soup special which was butternut squash and burrata appetizer for my main course. Chicken skewers — 2 stars — three small skewers which were just ok. Calamari — 3.5 stars — pretty good! Butternut squash soup — 0 stars — I sent it back as it was way too salty! Burrata — 3 stars — burrata was not as velvety as I have had before. Prosuitto was very good! Service was ok. average. I probably would not return here.

This is another one of my favorite restaurants. The older reviews here should really be ignored because the food is much better than it was earlier. The atmosphere is nice, especially when they have live music up front. Once a month they have opera night dinners that feature good food, wine pairings and select live arias. Those shouldn’t be missed!

Great restraunt, just not my preference. If you’re big on Italian and wine you will love it here. Huge wine selection, small food menu. You have all of about 8 options for pasta, each plate is about $ 20. If you have the money to spend then spend it, don’t come if your on a budget. The food was good though, just wish they had bigger plates and more variety on their menu! Service was great also kind of slow. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and cool but we waited about 10 minutes for water, then another 10 for our drink orders. Waited almost an hour for our food to come out but we also had a party of 15. I really loved that they gave us complimentary Buschetta on top of the sourdough bread. They don’t check ID for drinks, we came here for my cousins 21st, they didn’t card her while I’m 20, I easily could’ve asked for a drink as well.

Absolute perfection!!! We had a wonderful meal last night at Servino’s and also had a great time with friends. We ate inside because it was chilly outside though they do have heat lamps. Inside was cozier though and our waitress, Gina, was terrific! We started out ordering drinks which arrived quickly. For appetizers, we had the vegetable soup(me), heirloom tomato salad(my boyfriend), and ahi tuna tartare(our friends split). All were fantastic! Next up were our entrees and my friend and I had the mixed grill which was swordfish, a giant prawn, and grilled salmon. Perfection I tell you!!! My guy had tagliatelle with beef and my friends hubby had tagliatelle with grilled calamari. No complaints anywhere! All was excellent! Dessert was blood orange sorbet for all 4 of us which was rather skimpy for the price. I don’t mind skimpy, but don’t charge me a ridiculous price for it. Regardless, 5 stars for great meals, excellent service, a cozy environment, and a great night out!
