I typically like the Moose Café– and I typically go to the one in Fall River, since it is a five minute walk from my house. But they are closed over the winter, and I was craving a grilled cheese(with no tomato of course) on gluten free bread so I stopped there for lunch. Now it was around Christmas time, but it was a Tuesday in the middle of the day, so it was dead. My fiancé got a sandwich, and I ordered my GF grilled cheese with no tomato. We also ordered three drinks– a large caramel latte for him, a medium hot moosechino for me, and a large iced moosechino for my sister. We got the order and only my fiancé’s portion was correct. My sandwich had tomatoes on it. They made my drink a large instead of a medium– not a huge deal, but they also weren’t sure which drink was which between my fiancé’s and mine because they didn’t mark them, which seemed like an easy mistake to avoid. They didn’t put whipped cream on my sisters drink, and when we brought it to her she remarked that it must not have been the normal staff(she works in the area so she is a regular) because it didn’t taste right at all. I don’t want to be too hard on this place for one bad experience, so I’ll knock it down from the 4 stars it could be to 3. When they do it right, the food and coffee are great here. The problem is when they don’t pay attention and do it wrong. I’ll definitely go again and would like to edit this review after a better experience! Although none of the mistakes were major, they were so easily corrected if the woman taking my order had just written everything down correctly in the first place. I felt like we were inconveniencing her by ordering food, which was unfortunate. Definitely an easy fix that I hope is corrected the next time I head there for lunch.

There is hardly ever a wait. Most of the staff are very friendly. We go at least once a week. It’s a very relaxed community café.

Amazing Food, Coffee, and Ice Cream! Beautiful atmosphere, especially at Christmas time… Sadly Terrible Customer Service! Every time we’ve come in the waitstaff is plain ol’ snotty. It’s a shame because if this businesses customer service complimented their products it would be one of the best café’s out there!

I’ve been coming here for years and just realized I’d never written a review on one of the coolest places in Tiverton! The Moose Café is awesome, theres no other way to describe it. I’ve tried most of their coffee drinks and their ice cream drinks. Can’t beat a nice frappé on a hot summer day. Service is always fast and friendly, whether you hit the drive through or come inside. I’d recommend going inside so you can see all the treats in the display case. I never walk out empty handed! and I’ve never walked out disappointed. I’ve tried a few of the sandwiches on the menu, mostly the Panini and they’re soooo good. Usually when I come in with a friend he gets a sandwich and I steal a bite or two. then go back to my ice cream concoction which I refer to as lunch!!! The restaurant is always so clean, never overly crowded and free wifi as well, although I’ve never come here just to sit and have coffee and surf the net. knowing I can if needed is good enough for me. and the friendly staff makes me want to stay and hang out all day(and eat ice cream!) Give them a try if you haven’t already. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

The place is always clean and has a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. They have a crazy amount of items on the menu from drinks, pastries, ice cream, etc. They have something for anyone. Their cream donut and Oreo ice cream are out of this world! And they’re Stuffed Quahog’s heavenly. The only bummer is the food is so good they run out quick so you have to get there early!

Just stopped in after the beach and grabbed an Iced Moosecino and a Frozocoffee. The place is super cute and inviting and clean. The staff was very friendly and quick and I have to say this will now be a stop on the way home. The frozen coffee was delicious and so was the cappuccino ! Next time I may get a few donuts or ice cream to try.

Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. So many choices for Froyo flavors. All are good and cheap. We got a small and a BLT sandwich for $ 8.00. The girls that work there are young but super helpful and nice. I told my girl I was looking for something peanut butter and chocolaty and she recommended the peanut butter truffle with the vanilla base. Sooooo good Was there last night and I’ll be going back with the my Friends tomorrow night.

I always strut into Moose Café like I’m the golden elk with a thirst for a river of sweet coffee nectar. And the floodgates always open for me. A waterfall of caffeine on my chest. This place is a pretty perfect place to do work. It’s never SUPER packed, ample seating for me to lay down my antlers, and the workers are so kind and quick. I’m not going to review hotness of the staff like I usually do because I come here on the reg and already feel kind of creepy when I’m chillin’ in the corner just slowly drooling and staring wide eyed with a grin towards the counter, licking my lips, with a fake laptop I’m pretending to use that I made out of cardboard resting on my lap. Jk i’m making this review on my laptop. But the rest is real. Jk ish Anyway, we’re off track. The prices are phenomenal, free wifi, and there are a million and a half ice cream/coffee flavors. Don’t forget to check out the flavor of the month AND that all beverages can be made into a ‘Mega Moose size XXXXXL’. Leather chairs, an ATM, baked goods, and delish sandwiches. Moose Café is what you’ve been looking for all your life. The crowd is usually families with kids for the icecream and high school locals. And then me. The permanent corner fixture. Always watching. Always caffeinated. Oh ya there’s a giant moose head on the wall. It’s sweet. Legend has it that the original Moose Café owner was birthed from it.

I refuse to give this place five stars based on the giant moose carcass that hangs prominently on the wall here. In order to get five stars I need to know one of two things: a.) It’s not real b.) It’s been taken down Aside from that hideous thing, I found the coffee to be good, the prices fair, and the environment cozy. The girl behind the counter was very nice, and the establishment was clean. I find that this is a good place to come if you need to meet with someone and want to talk over coffee. This establishment also has baked goods, sandwiches and ice cream although I cannot comment on these things as I have only had coffee here.

Their soft serve is perfect! If you are looking for the best ice cream in town then it’s here. I got a large soft serve, small hard ice cream AND a piece of cheesecake for $ 10! Good luck doing that at grays

I still love The Moose! It’s still my favorite place around to get iced coffee. They still make the best breakfast sandwich on a bagel, through the drive thru by the way. I know it’s all in my head, but I do believe that cutting it in half makes it taste better, I have had a couple trips where they forgot to cut it and it just wasn’t the same. And how could I forget, they always have a treat ready for my dog… All I have to do is ask her if she wants to go for coffee and she runs for the door. Still like the ice cream, my favorite is called the perfect storm, any two toppings all twisted together in soft serve ice cream, although sometimes I wish I could get a smaller one…(hint, hint you should offer two sizes) They have a doggie dish for my lil girl too, it’s just vanilla soft serve in a kiddie cup with a treat on top but boy does she enjoy it. I don’t know if I’m just one of the lucky ones but I’ve never had bad service here, always smiles when I stop in… unless I run in just before they close to get some ice cream, then maybe not so many smiles… But I know the feeling of wanting to get out of work, so I don’t blame them for nixing the smiles at that hour… but can they really blame me for wanting some ice cream either?

Some of the best ice cream and without a doubt, the BEST whipped cream concoction around. It’s homemade and delicious.

Love the Moose! Icecream and soft serve is good here. They have tons of flavors so it is always exciting to try out a new one. They also have the Only 8 frozen yogurt, which is only 8 calories and ounce! So healthy people can rejoice! The food is decent as well. It mainly consists of deli meat sandwiches and microwaved pre cooked chicken in a bag to be mixed with the sauce that you want. So it is not the best sandwiches, but some are better than others.

Let’s start with the good. This café has everything. It’s the perfect place to get some work done(free wi-fi and plenty of sitting room including tables and couches). And while you’re there, you have your pick of awesome coffees, teas, ice-cream, bagels, donuts, breakfast sandwiches and paninis. Love, love, love their iced chai, froz-offee, iced teas, and bacon/egg/cheese on a Portuguese muffin. Oh wait, you’re in a rush? No worries, they have a drive thru too. I do have some complaints though, and it’s unfortunate because I loved this place the first couple times I came, and then when I started coming daily(I live down the street) I started noticing some things. Mostly, the attitude. 75% of the time I come in, one of the young girls behind the counter has an attitude problem, as if I disturbed her by ordering a coffee. You’d think for a bunch of bubbly teenage girls, you’d get a smile or a laugh, but not here. I’ve actually witnessed them argue over who had to come serve customers. Why is everyone always in the back room hanging out anyway? The only exception is one young woman I always get through the drive-thru, which is how I get my coffee now. Second complaint is that when ordering something frozen, like a frozen coffee or a frozen lemonade, sometimes a small is one size(basically, a dixie cup with a lid on it) and other days a small is the size of a Dunkin’s small, served in a regular plastic cup. It’s not a small size difference either… some days it’s MORETHANDOUBLE the size of other days. What gives? Price doesn’t seem to change so I have NO idea what a small actually is or if I’m getting a deal, or getting screwed, because the size changes so often. The the real story is that when I moved to Tiverton, I started ditching Dunkin’ Donuts and coming here every day instead. After getting poo-poo’d on by the staff and never knowing what size my drink was going to be day after day, I stopped coming here. Now I only come when I have a craving for a froz-offee.
