Just left this awesome little café and had the most awesome experience! Since going vegan approximately 2 months ago I have felt like my choices are limited at times and the girls working there tonight made me feel as if my choices were unlimited. The menu is extensive to meet everyone’s needs and all the items on the menu are fresh. I got the rainbow wrap and it was so full of flavor paired with a pb and Java and chocolate smoothie which hit the spot! Got a vegan chocolate mousse dessert to go! Made my night and I will be a returning customer for sure!!!

Roommate and I stopped in for a late lunch one Saturday as we are both doing the Whole 30 and there aren’t that many options in Towson where we would be able to find something. The food was pretty tasty and it was hard to figure out exactly what we could have as there wasn’t a detailed ingredient list, but a binder with some explanations to some of their items. My roommates enjoyed her salad, but was a little disappointed as it was a salad that she could have easily made at home. She was pleased with the amount of olives that were in her salad. I made my own sandwich and when I tried inquiring about what the gluten free wrap was made out of, I felt that I received a snarky response and still was a little confused about it. It is made of sundried tomatoes and flax seed. The ingredients were fresh and it was a good sandwich. All things considered, I don’t think I would return when we aren’t doing the Whole 30 as there were several other options nearby that smelled amazing and I wasn’t blown away by the friendliness of the staff.

Great vegan salads! I had the Moroccan salad-felafel and dates and raisins-yum! The others with me got sandwiches and wraps, all fresh and tasty and eaten with gusto! Friendly and helpful staff. Our order was ready super quick. The one thing not so great was the eggplant in the grilled veggies sandwich — the skin was a bit tough. Loved it overall.

I have never been disappointed at Zia’s. Their food is fresh and delicious, as well as their juices. Never usually have an issue with parking but it just depends on when you go. My only gripe is that they don’t have cheese, but I understand why, obviously and I’m ok with that.

For one the prices on their Togo menu and the prices on the menu are totally different. They should fix that cause it’s false advertisement. But any ways their raw juice bar is great. You definitely get what you pay for. Summer breeze is amazing. Favorite thing on the menu.

Truly the most delicious juice bar I have ever been to. The Virgin Mary is on another level. WOW!

I’ve been to Zia’s a few times. Usually I’ll order a sandwich and a juice. Been pretty consistent and pretty good. THEGOOD –fresh juice bar –bread choices are good –lots of vegan and vegetarian friendly options –soups are good –clean THEBAD… –for some reason the people I’ve encountered who work appear to be in bad mood and act like they are being bothered –parking can be a pain sometimes Overall Zia’s is a cool little spot to grab a shot of wheatgrass, have a sandwich and roll!

This is a nice café considering there aren’t that many«healthy foods» options in the area. Customer service was good. However, I would have enjoyed someone walking me through the menu and what to order since it was my first time there. Let’s get to the most important part of the review though, the food. After coming back from a trip to LA, maybe I’m being picky but the food quality was okay; it didn’t seem as fresh as the other reviews were making it out to be. I had the Astoria salad. Not a fan of the huge chunks of cold chicken. Slices of grilled chicken would have been nicer(in my opinion) and maybe a little less blue cheese. As for their juices and smoothies, I had a ginger boost. It was pretty good, nothing to rave about. Again, it’s nice to have a café like this in the area but I feel as if fresh, high quality food is a must in order for a place like this to be successful.(Especially considering the prices they are charging.) Would I go back? Maybe, i’d probably try something else to eat but again not ecstatic about my recent visit…

I don’t know why it took me so long to try Zia’s. It was INCREDIBLE. I went with two friends and decided to do a «make your own sandwich». I did a grilled chicken sandwich on sunflower bread with avocado, tomato, lettuce, avocado mayo and muenster! SOGOOD. I also got the nutty banana smoothie, which was banana, almond milk, dates and organic peanut butter. Ah-mazing. I literally can’t say anything bad about the experience… Wonderful service, wonderful food, awesome atmosphere. Thank you!

I’ve been here many many many times and everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Their food, smoothies and juices are all great. I’ve been here for dinner too and their raw pizza is well worth the trip. Zia’s has been my regular lunch spot for years and it shall remain as my preferred lunch spot b

Yes, they do seem overpriced, yet where else in this area can you find this kind of food? The Natural in Timonium has some good stuff, but Zia’s has a wider selection, albeit more expensive. I always felt healthier after eating there. And they let me order a custom blend of veggie juice, my version of the Green Goddess. But it’s only really sandwiches and salads with some desserts, mostly with nuts. Juices & smoothies are all great. Ample seating areas. Bulletin board for local services. Next to yoga studio.

I really like this place. It’s a bit expensive but the quality of the ingredients is well worth it. I got the To Ha «jacked up» smoothie and it wasn’t too sweet and blended to the correct amount(I also was barely able to taste the collards which is great because the fruit definitely masked the bitterness). The menu has a wide array of healthy meals and I can’t wait to try some of the raw entrees. This place also has paleo bread options which is so rare and they’re actually really good! This place is set apart from other smoothie places in this area because it doesn’t use any powder or processed ingredients and I trust everything I’m eating.

Being from California there aren’t too many of these type of food places around out here in Baltimore, so I was excited to try this place. I’m doing low-carb meals for now so I ended up ordering a salad. I got the Astoria Salad, wasn’t impressed by the look of it considering how much I paid($ 9.99). Was definitely an easy salad to make at home, I guess this is just for the convenience. It ended up tasting pretty good, the chicken was dry. And instead of raisins it should have been cranberries, and they could have included a ton of other veggies in the salad like cucumber and red onion, etc. It was just too simple for the price. I almost ordered soup which I should have, they had one that sounded good: kale and lentil soup I believe… all I know is that IF I return here again I would get a sandwich or wrap… saw some reviews about the Cali wrap so most likely would get that… this place is worth a try, esp if you enjoy vegetarian and vegan food.

They offer delicious lunch specials. I ordered a black bean burger and it was cooked fresh. They have a sit down area at bar height or tables. They seem to be a local spot for coffee but they also make smoothies. Very clean.

Good value and delicious, healthy sandwiches, wraps and salads. Love this place. One of my favorites is the Rainbow Wrap. Try it, you’ll like this neighborhood gem.

Good food. Decent service. Expensive prices. The food we all had was absolutely amazing. The sandwiches were all really great. My chicken panini was filled with delicious chicken that fell apart in my mouth… A great pesto sauce and some juicy tomatoes. Just right. The mock tuna on a bagel was also really great. My girlfriend loved it! I even tasted it and it was good. I wasn’t sure it would be… Mock tuna sounds weird. Lastly, our child unit loved her organic PBJ. And she doesn’t even like strawberry jelly a lot of the time! Smoothies were both filled with fruit. I had the Berry Nice and it was everything I wanted it to be. The only drawback is that this place charges what you might expect of an organic place on a city block in Towson. It was $ 8 or so per sandwich.

Cute little whole-foods conscious café in downtown Towson. Great selections for the health-conscious consumer, which is great since Zia’s is juxtaposed to a kebab shop and Cheesecake factory! The café seems to focus on fruit smoothies, raw juices, and organic teas. I found their create-your-salad surprisingly fresh and delicious, too. There was a good variety of fresh ingredients from which to choose, including many vegan-friendly options in a non-boring way. They seem to do a good job marketing various products and services, and even have a 30-day raw-food plan for those seeking to detox. While this all may sound intense to the uninitiated, the café is surprisingly laid back and it is very, very clean. Free wifi is a nice perk to the student, biz-professional crowd. The only constructive feedback I’d give is that I’d prefer more«green» smoothie options(i.e., more veggies) and some more bean variety for the salads.

Zia’s Café has become a regular spot that I frequent for their amazing smoothies, raw juices, and healthy choices. To set myself up right for the day I’ll often opt for the Roha Jacked up which is a thick, delicious smoothie packed with fruit, nuts, almond milk, coconut oil, coconut milk, agave, spirulina, and collard greens. it’s a meal in itself. Their raw oatmeal in hot almond milk with walnuts and fruit is not on the menu but don’t miss out on this treat as the weather gets chillier. Jag and Roy are our favorite guys that work behind the counter on most days prior to the busy lunch hour. They always ensure quality control and take great pride in creating and serving the luscious, raw, healthy food at Zia’s. A major perk is the steady WIFI at this café. As a cloud-computing geek, I can easily spend the majority of an 8-hour work day sippin’ on live juices, diverse salads, hot soups, and coffee with great music playing in the background while parked at the back table in the sunshine(please don’t steal my table) :D. Check out their incredible menu here: .

it’s hard not to feel healthy just standing in the café considering your options. Sometimes that feeling is enough to inspire one to eat«healthy». However, the food is actually good here. My vegetarian sister originially prompted me to try this place out but I’ve continued going… even having cravings for it at times. Today I had the Caribbean salad… shocked myself by stepping outside of my no fruit and vegetable rule b/c the idea of a salad w/goat cheese trumped my food«issues». I wasn’t dissapointed. Dates, raisins, pears, salad greens, and a big mound of soft goat cheese with citrus vinagrette. Very very delicious and fresh. Creamy, tart, sweet, crispy and above all satisfying. My husband got the«cali» wrap. The ingredient list sounds much like a version of a lox bagel which is quintessentially northeastern so the name confused me. However, the name is the taste is more substantial and w/out the acridness of the former. The avocado definitely sealed the california feel to contents that would usually typify a northeast flavor combo. For drinks, My husband got a chai latte iced. It was a bit too sweet for my taste but the spice level was good. more desserty and lassi like I would prefer. And very«milky». I opted for the PB ‘n Java smoothie. It’s the perfect healthy answer to the iced startbuck mocha(hey peanut butter is good for you + protein and dairy free… all important things to me and something the starbucks mocha is missing).
