On business from California. Took my sales team here for lunch several times. Great food, great pricing and very attentive servers. My team and i enjoyed the meal each time!

Great place, huge bar, plenty of space, awesome atmosphere… Staff was fast and friendly, drinks are reasonably priced, food was great! I will definitely be coming back

Gotta love a spot where they remember your name when you return the next time. Great neighborhood spot for any occasion, carryout, lunch, dinner, or drinks with friend’s. Benny and the rest of the staff do a hell of a job making sure everybody feels welcome and happy! And… I know its not a huge deal but it is nice because whenever i order any sandwich, it stays together and doesn’t fall apart after bite number one which seems to be the case at most places. (1^st world problems lol)

13 of us went out for a birthday to the Troy location on 15 and livernois and let me tell you all of us had a horrible night we couldn’t wait to get the bill n leave, most didn’t even order anything to eat just to speed up the process of us leaving. This is the worse place to go and have a good time, although the wings were good the waitress we had was very very rude n wouldn’t take some of our orders as she came to the table n directed us to the bar which made no sense if we were one table n other times she stared n walked away. The service was horrible basically like we had no waitress. It was very uncomfortable being there seeing that she would stand from a distance n stare at our table but not approach n her attitude was disgusting. That was the first n last time I will ever step foot in there. There’s other places with pool tables and games with amazing service n the nicest waitress. I don’t suggest going here. Look up a local art & jakes or even sitting home with take out would have made this a better night.

So I rarely give five stars for a regular American sport bar that services traditional food. I was really impressed by the waitress. She was delightful and did not try to rush us like many places do. They do not have a wide selection of domestic beer/​craft beer. I had to settle with the good old Heineken. I was really hesitant to order food there. But you know after my other friends ordered food, I was once again pressured to order something lol. I ordered corn beef sandwich with onion rings. The food was fabulous. The meet was very tasty. I would probably go back to this place just for the food.

The homemade Jalapeño Poppers are a signature appetizer for me, made on site I think. Most of the menu is typical bar type selections, although they do run daily lunch and dinner specials that prove interesting. There are TV’s everywhere! Some booths have their own mini TV’s. There is a large protected patio area with comfortable seating during the nice weather. The servers are amazing and spot on with the orders and making you feel welcome. When sitting at the large long oval bar with TV’s all around, the number of mixologist’s running laps and serving with smiles will amaze you. Shout outs to Nicole, Sarah, Jacqueline, and Carolyn (to name just a few) for the laughs and great service. If you haven’t met the irrepressible Benny, you will before you leave.
They have a pretty decent selection at the bar. I was impressed with them having Basil Hayden available, amongst the other 10 or so bourbon selections. Pretty good wine, beers on tap that have seasonal rotations, and a serious bottled beer selection.
I am rather new to the area (for work), but have met some pretty cool people here. I love the atmosphere, where you will find fans from many different areas of the country, if not the world since we have so many different types of businesses in the area. Love the Pittsburg fans, they are fun and know how to have a good time. Watching the Chicago fans, is like being a Lions fan, although they have won a Super Bowl (’85/’86 season). There are plenty of homers here too depending on the season (Wings, Pistons, Tigers, Lions, Michigan State, Michigan, etc.,.) so lots of clapping and cheering during any of the games. It gets crowded, but that is part of the lure. Enjoy this place, it is a good ‘old time!

This has always been an old time favorite place to throw back and just relax. The staff is so friendly it is like you are just hanging out with friends. They check up on you often, use words of endearment (not uptight and stuffy like fine dining… lol) and don’t roll their eyes as they walk away when you ask if they will make you a fresh pot of coffee at 10pm. :)
The apps are generous and the fries actually come out hot… by the way. my friend the fries junkie loves the seasoned fries here. I can’t have Cajun but the regular fries were very addicting to me. No complaints at all.
The prices are very affordable and the food is good. Come hang out… bring a few friends with you… this place can definitely accommodate a lot of people. Oh,…and they have pool tables as well… BONUS!!!

I was always curious about this place because I live across the street and had never been. I got the chance to go for a coworker’s going away party/​happy hour this past Thursday.
We had a large group, though I didn’t know most of them (my company has about 300 – 400 people), and there was a reserved table. A waitress came up to me as soon as I got there and asked if I wanted to order anything. I was able to order some food later on through another waitress.
CJM’s is pretty large, I could see it being fun to go there when a football game is on or something. Nothing fancy but definitely a sports bar vibe going on. I tried a grapefruit beer which was actually really delicious (normally I dislike beer) and I had their $ 2.95 HH slider, which came with onions, cheese if you want, chips, and a pickle. Their happy hour food menu is pretty good, too.
CJM isn’t a place I’ll frequent but I might drop by for HH another time.

I came in for a LARGE, reserved business party with my company and all of our sister companies. Keep in mind there are millions of dollars in one room here tonight. The wait staff was rude all evening, I even stood there and listened to a waitress disrespect our whole party to a passerby, as she stood there eating soup and texting.
I do not drink, but I paid tabs for people and tipped well all evening. The bar staff lost my credit card for a few hours, and treated me like it was MY fault when I was concerned about its whereabouts. There was not ONE server in here smiling or with a good attitude.
I served and bartended for years, so I know that parties like this can be a nightmare. But this one was reserved, we showed up on time, and we tipped well.
This is sad.

I usually go to the Cj Mahoney’s in Rochester but once in awhile I’ll come to this location. I was here about a month ago and had terrible service. I believe they were a little short staffed for a weekend night, but we should not get to be treated the way we did. We had a table for 6, we ordered drinks and food. When our waitress came back to see if we wanted more drinks, a few people at my table were not ready for a second round but asked for waters and our waitress told us «No we’re out of water.» We laughed in response because we thought she was joking. She said, «No I’m serious, I’m too busy to get you waters. But do you want another round of beers or drinks because I won’t be back for awhile.» What, are you serious? What waitress says «I’m too busy to get you water?» That was rude and uncalled for! A few people in my party left and a few new people showed up. We ended up staying for several hours but we had to go to the bar for drinks because our waitress wouldn’t check on us.
I’m leaving 3 stars because the food is usually good and I usually have pleasant experiences here.

It’s a laid back Irish themed pub. There’s a huge chalkboard with drink specials and shots to choose from. Lots of tv’s for sports. 2 pool tables, darts, buck hunter, basketball, and golf video game. We had BBQ pizza and Irish nachos for appetizer. The waitress Trisha was very nice and was always stopping over to see if we needed anything.

Wasn’t the greatest experience I ever had. Went there for a work Christmas party and waited for a menu for 45 minutes. It was very loud in there where we were seated and was hard to talk to co workers. One of my co workers asked if we could order our food and the waitress said yeah whenever you want. We shouldn’t have to to ask to order our food. Also my glass of water sat empty for awhile and I had to flag a waitress down to ask for more. The ribs were really good though.

Our waitress kaylyn spilled water over us and wounldnt even apologize to us. She didnt even get us plates to eat in. When we informed the waitress that we had water fall over us she asked us if we would like to change places rather than apologize. We visit this place usually but were very disappointed with the customer service this time. I dont think we will go back here again

The patrons where cool from tax guys to young gals, I had chili but the real surprise was the bar staff the owner has an eye for attractive help!

Loooooong wait. Long wait. Good to watch a game, food was okay, but the wait was stupid.

This place has some nice daily deals. Got the sliders and beer for under 10. Service is über slow though.

Friendliest staff & ownership around. Great place to relax with friends, grab a bite, and catch a game. Bar food done well and a good selection of cold beer! My cheers!

We had our old company reunion here, got here early got my bar test burger (Black & Blue) and nice 22oz Labatt Blue Lt $ 3 prices are good but the Lime Light Bar in Warren way beats CJ’s B&B Burger! Why 4 Stars… the Bar Maids & Waitstaff are some real knockouts! As you can tell by the pics!

A great place for drinks… Next time I’ll have to try the food!
