This is a fantastic little boutique in downtown Truckee. The owners was so sweet and charming. The vibe I got was very similar to the Niche here in Reno/​Sparks but without all of the home décor. I bought three shirts and they are all great quality and very different looking from what you would see in a typical department store. Her prices were much more reasonable that the other little boutiquest that I visited while there. I will be back and I hope she has continued success with this little gem of a place.

Coming to Truckee today, I didn’t know which boutique to see or browse from but the display right outside Marilyn’s catwalk caught my eyes and I’m glad I went in to see what else is inside the store.
I was greeted by Morgan, and we had a small chat about the business. Its amazing that the store has been around for 20+ years! I’m not surprised by any means, the quality and style is superb for all women regardless of age. I ended up buying two pieces which I absolutely love and excited to wear for the summer. Morgan was sweet and she was so great helping with my purchase.

Marilyn’s Cat Walk is my favorite boutique in Truckee! I’ve been buying from Marilyn since 2000. The clothes and accessories are so unique and affordable! I brought my parents here the other day to show them the store and they had a great time looking around and chatting with Marilyn. While my parents chatted with the owner, I easily found some things to try and buy!
Swing by the next time you’re in town as I always do!

I had a great experience at this shop. I had returned a jacket a few years ago and had received a store credit. I had moved out of the area and been traveling the past few years. When I returned, I was going through my boxes and had come across this store credit.
I walked in, with no expectation that she would still honor the store credit… but she did! She was completely pleasant and accommodating about it. She helped me pick out the perfect sweater, and I grabbed a pair of cute earrings to go with them as well.
I was so appreciative of her awesome customer service… I am definitely going back any time I am in town! Marilyn is a really nice local business owner.

I LOVED «Marilyn’s Cat Walk»! Very cute and unique clothing at affordable prices, which is a combination you don’t usually find in an area frequented by tourists. Marilyn herself is very friendly and goes «above and beyond» in providing customer service. Check it out next time you’re visiting beautiful Truckee, you won’t be disappointed:)
