When into this restaurant and the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and was willing to help us save money on our kids meals and our entrées so we were satisfied. And then I told the manager how great the waitress was and they blessed us with a free meal awesome staff

I freaquent this outback(once a week or so) and I have an overall good experience and excellent food each time. Yes I have waited for a refill or two but the wait staff for a chian is very friendly and that goes a long way with me. I generally get a gentleman waiting on me and he is a pro. The younger ones are good but generally college kids but this guy you can tell it is what he does. I say it’s a great spot… it is one of my favorites.

Loved our server, Natalie! She was very attentive to my needs as I wanted a steak that was very lean. She made sure that the sirloin was cooked perfectly. I was impressed by her! My 6 oz sirloin was wonderfully seasoned and my water was refilled reasonably quickly. Only thing I think that could be better would be a cleaner environment and the tables that are dirty from past guests be cleared within 20 minutes. Kinda gross to look at!

Terrible and slow service, no excuse had more employees than guests there. It was our anniversary and the waitress only came over 2 times. We had to ask 2 other servers to get our food and drinks

I love the classic sirloin! And absolutely in love with their loaded bake potato!!! They offer gluten free and have a gluten free desert. I wasn’t a fan of the gf dessert but some may still like it!

I know, I know, I know the reason that chain restaurants get a bad name, but I’m going to come out of the closet and say I love Outback. The steaks are high quality, the sides and salads are fantastic, the special menu items are very good. Outback is consistently good everywhere I go. You get good quality for a good price. Don’t be haters, it you like steak go to Outback. We order curb-side a few times a month.

My friends and I work near here so we always stop in at night after work. Everyone is always really friendly and we have never had to wait to be seated(bad for them good for us!). The service: never over the top incedible but I work in the service industry so i know serving is a hard job. All i really care about is that I get my drinks refilled, my food comes out in a resonable time, and that my order is correct. Normally they do some of that however we usually do wait a good amount of time for a refill or to be checked on. I notice it happens to a few other people around us even though it has never been busy when we go in so that is a little frustrating expessally because the prices are not cheap. The food is good, expessally the steaks! I always get a sweet potato with brown sugar and honey on the side and have never been dissapointed! The way i liked my meat cooked is never how it comes, it is always pretty rare on the inside even though that is the one thing I do not like an continue to tell the server. The desserts arnt really worth it here so save the money and run somewhere else for after dinner. Reason I am giving only 3 stars is because after getting take out after work from here i ordered at the take out area with a nice young server, but right next to me a few other employees were standing literally right next to me talking about sex and beating each other up. Super unprofessional and makes me think twice about going back. I know they were young and the job doesn’t pay well but seriously? common since. If my manager ever heard me do that i would be fired on the spot.

This use to be one of my favs! My last experience last week … I sat on the patio seated by the hostess for 15 minutes before a server stopped by. During that 15 minute wait, I saw two different servers stopping by the only other table on the patio… a table of 4 and neither one of them even spoke much less offered me a drink! The cocoanut shrimp was just breaded nastyness but the blooming onion was good. The prime rib was very good and it because of that and the blooming onion that it gets 2 stars. If it was based just on service — this was a HUGE fail!

Great food. Great service. Perfect plates every time. I’ve had several of the dishes and are always satisfied. They also give the kids good crayons and a big coloring sheets for distraction. The bread, while you wait, is always soft and warm. And the butter is amazing. It is more on the expensive side but worth it.

We went there during lunch and were pleasantly surprised to see a reasonable lunch menu that differed from the dinner menu. We had the tacos and side salad for 7.99, and 8.99. It was so filling and so good! The chicken tacos are packed full of goodness and flavor! The fish tacos were light and seasoned well. The manager came to our table to ask how everything was. We will be back for lunch soon!

Food was very delicious. The waitress was quick with the service and and very nice. Second time at this place and for sure will stop by when next I will be in Tucson. The cool thing about this place is: they are quick and food is very tasty.

Stay away from the Prime Rib Sandwich and New formula French Onion soup. Sandwich(barely ¼ lb of meat) served on a pretzel sized roll with frys for $ 12.99. French Onion Soup was an extra $ 3.99 and served with no cheese on top. Very thin consistency, must be a new recipe or location issue. I had to send it back because it was cold on top it was returned warm but honestly not something I would order again. Meal was definitely not worth the $ 17.00 plus drink tax and tip. Went about 6pm on a Tuesday.

Had a family lunch here on a Saturday. Service was prompt and the food seemed ok. My wife and i thought the caesar salads were very good. Burgers were tasty and cooked well Desserts of carrot cake seemed overly dry. One little note and this may be just me. I did not like the 20 something waitress calling my 85 year old aunt and uncle«hun» it seemed disrespectful to me. Not a big thing and im sure she meant to be friendly. Anyway decent overall and reasonable prices.

Our party could not have been happier with the food, the prices and the service. First, our young server Janine was so very pleasant. Not hovering, but attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. We opted for the ‘original Outback’ steak, a sirloin. The item comes with a choice of a soup or salad and an accompanying dish. We chose the chicken tortilla soup and loaded baked potatoes. The chicken tortilla soup was rich with cheese and had a good spicy kick to it, not too tomato-y. The baked potato seems to be rolled in an oil with sea salt on the skin, it was cooked just right and delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order and were very delicious. One of us had a beefeater martini, the other a glass of house merlot. Both were nice and they did not skimp. Starter was a mini loaf of dark bread served with whipped butter. All-in-all, two delicious, complete dinners, adult beverages, and the bill was under $ 35.00 including AZ sales tax! I have no idea where else one could get so much bang for the buck. We were blown away. Sorry we had no room to try desserts, and they also have those wonderful bloomin’ onions which we must try next time. Did I mention that Janine was a delightful, personable and professional server?

Great service! Calamari was ok but a little dry. Potato soup had good flavor but more onions than potatoes. Cesar salad was great– love those croutons!

I only go there for the prime rib, but they kinda ruin the steak by over seasoning it. if they just season just less it would be perfect.

Service was adequate. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time and provided menus immediately. The waitress appeared promptly and took our drink orders, which she fulfilled in a very short period of time. However, she returned within mere minutes afterwards to take our meal order — fine if you’re a regular and already know what you want, but hardly enough time for anything more than a cursory perusal otherwise. We placed our orders and the food was delivered in slightly less than ten minutes. So far, not too bad — a little rushed at the beginning, but that’s probably management stressing rapid table turnover on a busy Saturday evening. «Will there be anything else?» «Ummm… yeah, silverware would be nice.» Strike one, albeit a minor one. Strike two — the quality of the meat was poor to mediocre at best. Top sirloin served medium-rare should be tender. Although the char was good and the color near-prefect(pink with just a slightly red center), the steak presented a significant challenge to the serrated knife, not to mention the workout my bicuspids and molars received. Strike three — the flavor of the steak was disappointing — not awful, just not what you would expect from a restaurant that purports to be a steakhouse. It tasted like it’d been marinated in brine for five minutes, then seared on the grill. The exterior was extremely salty, whereas the interior was simply bland — the combination did not result in a favorable blend, rather a burst of salt followed by chewy monotony. And yet I continued to eat it. Why? We were celebrating a significant accomplishment and everyone was in good spirits — I didn’t want to cast a damper upon the occasion by sending back the steak and risk breaking the mood. And yeah, we did have fun. In all fairness, the other members of our party were happily satisfied with their orders… let ‘em write their own review!

So I called the corporate number to complain about our server and the horrible things I heard her say, and they didn’t seem to care at all. «Yes sir, we’ll look into it» they proclaimed, in such a manner that made it obvious they just wanted to get me off the phone. Whatever. I won’t be back.

my 60 th birthday on a Tues. .We wanted quiet peaceful light dinner. OK.they put us next to a toddler when the restaurant was empty. 2 tables filled in the house then we ordered the special it was 8 pm and didn’t want heavy food . We all ordered the sirloin/bake/salad/dessert they should call it for«broke chumps that don’t know any better selection.» The steak had to be drowned in A-1 due to it gamey flavor, it was probably select, not prime, not choice. You wouldn’t know it was Beef if you were blindfolded. the only thing you would know is the Clorox from the kitchen permeated the dining room. a big disappointment and a lesson learned. Buy good meat for your specials or don’t do specials. that’s it for you outback
