David’s Bridal

What a great day at David’s Bridal Tulsa, Oklahoma! My niece, Samantha, made the trip from Independence, Kansas to buy her wedding dress. It was such an awesome event for her with both Grandma’s, her Mother, Sister-​in-​Law, Cousin, and two sisters to enjoy watching her try on Beautiful dresses from David’s Bridal. Shelly was Samantha’s assistant and was so helpful and personable. She really made this day special with her attention to detail and made Samantha feel very special. She was just such a nice person with a warm, caring attitude. Samantha found a beautiful dress and was very pleased and impressed with her assistant, Shelly! I was unable to attend but this was the feed-​back I received from Samantha and those who were there with her on her special day! Thanks to David’s Bridal and all the wonderful folks who work in this Tulsa store. Much appreciated to you all and especially Shelly. This will be a day Samantha will remember.

Update: My second fitting with … Alena, I think? was terrific. She is super positive, very warm and friendly and made me feel like I was the prettiest girl in there (which I certainly was not!). Bonus: she has a wonderful and lyrical accent (eastern Europe, maybe?) that I could have stayed and listened to all day!
To reiterate: both the alterations ladies I’ve dealt with at David’s have been so wonderful and I kinda want to invite them to my wedding.

I would not go there again if it was the only bridal shop in the world. It was my very first time going to try on dresses, I waited about 45 mins which was okay since I didn’t have an appointment. I live in another state than my mom and sister so it was special to be with the both of them. While waiting we picked out about 10 dresses that I wanted to try on… I was soooo excited and couldn’t wait to see what they looked like until my name got called and my «stylist» told me that I picked out too many and too many good ones and that they usually start with only about 3. The first dress i tried on I was enjoying looking at myself. then she proceeded to ask me how many have I treid on ever… I told her it was my first one and she told me «every bride loves the first one they try on so we should move on»…Um hello lady I am not in a rush I am enjoying this. She was really ripping them on and off me in the dressing room, like she was in a big hurry. so much of a hurry that my hair got caught in a clip as she was ripping one on an pulling so hard I said «my hair oucccch» and she stopped and said «oh these darn clips» and didn’t even apologize!!! On the final dress I tried on. I loved it, she dolled me all up with the veil and even offered me a payment plan with a credit card and gave me the sheet to fill out. Now I wasn’t sure if I wanted it so I told her I would have to think about it and talk about the budget with my fiancé and I went into the dressing room… if you have been there you know they are open on top and not connected to the walls) I heard her talking about me to the other Davids Bridal workers!!! She said in a very annoyed voice «She is not getting that dress» and the workers were like ohh my gossssh. And she said «I know can you believe it»…Like what the heck lady! Why would I buy a dress from you when you DID NOT make my first time trying on dresses special ONE BIT. My sister tried to call them and talk to a manager a few days later and said they would call her back they were busy never got a call back then tried to call again, the managers were busy again and she still has not received a call back. Great customer service Davids Bridal of Tulsa!!!

I almost didnt come because of the bad review BUT there arent alot of choices for flower girl dresses here in OK. The sales ladies pointed me in the right direction and left me alone to shop. They were obviously paying alot of attention to there brides but I wanted to be left alone. A sales lady came to check on me as soon as I looked like I needed something and answered all my questions. Plus I found a flower girl dress that Id been dreaming of. SO. good job!

Met at the door; told they didn’t do any special orders. We turned around and left.
Imagine that. A bridal store that doesn’t order dresses. Wonder how they stay in business?
