do not go here for food. drinks were fair. we live on tybee so we went there on a whim but don’t bother. During the summer, they have a very classy bar adjacent to the main part that is worth visiting.

See just wanted a little something. The crab balls with house sauce were very good. The cheese sticks were usual. Good beer selection and the staff were friendly

This place reeked of vomit! I was inside for a total of 4 minutes before I couldn’t take it anymore. I ordered a sweet water 420 and was clearly given coors light or some other beer. It was terrible! I made a statement to the bartender about it and she said, «Really? I’ve never heard that before.» Do yourself a favor and visit somewhere else… the best part of our evening were the daiquiris we picked up from Wet Willie’s and sipped out on the pier.

Very disappointed. I ordered Macho Nachos. Everything from the«chili» to the«salsa» tasted out of a can. There was a puddle of something at the bottom of my plate. Didn’t ask also didn’t finish. My husband ordered wings(6) and also didn’t finish. That’s a first! Said they tasted like they were frozen then micro waved. Couple of shady folks just walking in and out of the kitchen. Will not be back. Had to give it one star to post but even that is being generous

Good seafood, better bartender, and cool atmosphere. If you’re hanging down by the beach and want a cold adult beverage and some decent seafood this place is the place to go.

Service was good, food was decent. The shark tacos were crispy but hardly filled the length of two out of three tacos. Tasted good though. Tomatoes were really fresh. Grouper sandwich was good too. Not sure why cole slaw would be served as a side with shark tacos when there is already slaw on the tacos. French fries would have Been nice and was kinda what I thought was the side according to the menu. Bathrooms need work and so does the beer stained smell from the night before.

This visit was full of problems. First, we were sat in front of a huge fan. This was blowing fiercely on us and was extremely uncomfortable, so we asked to be moved. The place was basically empty so I have no clue why they put us in front of the fan to begin with. Secondly, I ordered a Sweetwater 420 draft. The waitress brought a beer out and it was clearly, by look and taste, not what I ordered. It was likely Bud Light. I told her this and she asked if I was sure. This isn’t trying to figure out if it’s Dasani or Evian water. We’re talking the difference in a good beer and a shitty beer. I’ve had both a thousand times and it’s not hard to know it’s the wrong beer. She brings out another beer and it was the exact same. I told her they probably used the wrong line to tap the keg and crossed them or something. She asked if I was sure again. She took a while to come back and ended up offering me something in a bottle, but I went with a random local beer on draft, Tybee Blonde, and it was awful. I had the fish and chips which were okay. I liked the fish, but it was on the oily side. I’m going to play the«I’ve been to England and had real fish and chips» card here. I’ll probably never have fish and chips that are as good as what I had there, but the look and crispness of the batter was pretty close.

Horrible experience. The restraint smelled like vomit as soon as we walked in, never a good sign. The manager then proceeded to offer my party and I free shots to write a 5 star review. I may have taken him up on this offer if the place was somewhat decent but other tourists should know not to come here. We sat down at a table and waited for it to be cleaned for 20 mins. Go to Tybee Time if you are looking for a good time!

If you’re hungry and coming from the beach, it’s worth walking a little further or getting in your car and driving. The Rock House atmosphere is decent, but the food is just okay. I had the fish tacos and they looked great, but tasted very bland, and mushy. I also tried the clam chowder and it tasted more like potato chowder than anything. Those who were with me had burgers and said they were pretty good. So, id you’re coming for fish, don’t bother.

Seriously, just don’t. My husband and I were visiting the area because we are thinking of relocating. We drove past this place a few times and everything else was either closed or full, so we decided to just bite the bullet. Huge mistake! We aren’t picky because some of the roughest looking places have the best food. This is billed as family friendly, but it is a bar, NOT a restaurant. It’s dark and loud with tipsy people everywhere and huge speakers in the area where the dining tables are. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles. They had hardly any breading and were exceptionally greasy(as in, the grease pooled in the bottom of the plastic basket). They were spears, so they really just tasted like hot greasy pickles. I ordered a beer and my husband ordered a $ 9 mixed drink that was maybe 6oz. They were out of beer, so I just stuck with water. We rarely saw our server and the cook brought our food. He was hoarse so he went on about how he definitely was not sick. Mind you, I hadn’t asked. My husband got 3 fish tacos(greasy) and I got(canned) clam chowder in a salsa bowl with some stale saltines. We were going to go ahead and get dessert because we assumed it was pre-made, but the server just dropped the check. Luckily, I looked at it before I paid. They charged me for the beer that I didn’t get and overcharged my husband’s drink. He got her attention and showed her the price on the menu and she said, «Yeah, I saw that when I rang it up and I asked the bartender. She said that we raised the prices and that’s how much it costs now.» So she saw it and instead of letting us know, she just hoped we wouldn’t see it. She did take the beer off the check though. I saw other people having issues as well, especially the ones with bar tabs. I don’t post very many reviews, but I think people should be aware that they are definitely trying to take advantage of «tourists».

Loved it!!! Saw someone else got the mushroom Swiss burger and that sold me lol so we came here and that’s what I got! Great food, great prices, great location to the beach and shopping! It’s probably a fun place for nights also but we came for dinner :) our server was Joey and he was very attentive !

Terrible food. Way too many options on the menu and little knowledge of food or drinks by server. I ordered the pizza burger(burger patty, mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, and marinara sauce) — sounded great, tasted like cardboard that was dropped on the kitchen floor. Every item the server brought out was slightly wrong except for the burger. And in a place by the beach, you’d think every establishment would have malt vinegar(fish n chips, anything battered, etc), negative. They brought out white vinegar in a Styrofoam cup. No repeat for me.

I received two coupons for free Jell-O shots from The Rock House while walking on the beach at Tybee Island. My boyfriend and I were starving and seriously in need of some drinks after the fiasco of finding parking and setting up a spot on the beach, so we headed over there for a bite to eat. The Rock House is a corner bar/restaurant in town, and advertises as «family friendly». This made no difference to us, but it was pretty accurate when we walked in. We were sat immediately and greeted by our waitress who was very friendly and kind. My boyfriend ordered the Shark Mako with fries and I ordered ½ lb of peel and eat shrimp — I was really disappointed they were out of coconut shrimp! The food was good; fresh shrimp, and the shark tasted like… well, shark. The drinks were good too — Id suggest the Bob Marley or Rum Runner! However, there was nothing spectacular about the place unlike other reviews I’ve read on Google and such. The biggest issue I had, besides the ridiculousness of finding parking, were all the flies! They were a huge nuisance throughout the meal, but I guess that’s just how it goes when you’re in a seafood restaurant with doors open for a cool breeze. I’d probably check out somewhere else on my next visit.

A disappointment and just bad food. The little girl who was the server was very nice but we should have noticed no one sitting and eating. I got the mussels and clamp and they were the worst I have ever eaten. Just dry in a bowl with nothing in it. Never had I had a dry bowl with 8 mussels and 4 clams… really the portion size. Our bill for that and a beer and 4 shrimp with only hot sauce on them was 45 dollars. Please use my lesson to save yourself money.

If u like a club setting with night life atmosphere then this is the place to go. It is a one stop place they have food drinks and entertainment. People where friendly music was good. Had so much fun with the option of karaōke on one part of the club and dancing music on the other side. It is in a easy walking distance from everything. We would start our night here than roam around and end right back here. It was a laid back nice friendly location with lots of memories and fun. This was our first time to the island and we look forward to coming back. Thanks guys for the great time…

2nd time we’ve dined in. The service is superb. The staff is kind and considerate. The staff made sure we were attended to and taking care of. The food is absolutely great. The Gator Bites are the BEST we’ve had ANYWHERE! ! ! Tonight we order along side that was the Teriyaki Chicken Wings. Omg are they HUGE and Juicy. We shared everything. Everything is in large portions and the prices are on point and fair. We had The Beast. Thats a ½lb. Burger Patty with a Foot Long Nathans Beef HotDog w/BBQ Sauce I believe. There’s music. Karaōke. A DJ and Stage plus room for a little boogying down on the dance floor if you’d like. A pool table in the far right corner of the bar area with tables. Perfect place for lunch or dinner. A gals are pals day out type of place and for dates too. Theres plenty of tvs tuning in for sports fanatics. This awesome establishment is EXACTLY by the beach for the beach lovers during summer and they open and serve food till 3a. m!!! A PLUSFORUS. Can’t ask for a better set up. This is our honest review. We love a place that’s open late when we might have late night cravings past 12 midnight and want to just have a late date because of busy wk weeks and need time together that the day doesn’t offer. We plan to make this a regular now. For over 10 years our late night place was the Quarter Bar that opens late til 2a. m Now we’ve went from a menu that offered burgers. Snow crab legs. Oysters. Chicken fingers n egg rolls to 100% Restaurant kitchen service and tons of specialties along with American and Seafood too. If we could rate this place more than 5 we would give it the Lucky#7. Over and Out Y’all & God Bless U n Try this place out. FranknKimm

Enjoyed going opening night to this club and liked that there were separate rooms for karaōke(not everyone wants to listen to that) and another bar with a DJ who was spinning some awesome mixes. The bartender was friendly and attentive and the drinks were reasonably priced. Was disappointed in the bathrooms. The ladies rooms were nasty with TP all over the floor and barely any to use for its intended purposes. As the night drew on, it was apparent that no one in the bar had gone in to check the bathrooms as they got worse and worse and eventually ran out of paper. Not good… when you’ve got people drinking, you need to keep paper stocked! =)
