Went here on a whim with my wife after buying about ten thousand reusable shopping bags from Daiso(I’m estimating). We’ve eaten at many of the other restaurants in the shopping center, but somehow Adobo Connection slipped by unnoticed. They will never escape my notice again. Ordered the Sisig Burrito, which was tasty and very filling, if a little greasy. My napkin was transparent by the time we left. My wife ordered the garlic noodles, and they were awesome. Super garlicky, which is apparently a real word(thanks, AutoCorrect!) and the meat was tender and delicious. We also had a side of lumpia and an order of the buko pandan for dessert. Both were really good. A couple at a table nearby ordered the Sisig Fries, and now I know what’s missing from my life. Probably gonna get that on the next visit. Another nice bonus: fountain soda! Server was very friendly, and kept me well stocked in Pepsi while I devoured our food. Oh, and the atmosphere was casual, but cozy and nice, blah, blah, blah, DIDYOUSEETHESISIGFRIESNOTHINGELSEMATTERSATTHISPOINT

My wife and I went to this restaurant several years ago once– and was not very impressed. But then we heard that it was under new ownership– new menu and a completely different adobo recipe. Needless to say we have gone back several times a week! Definitely try the sigsig fries– great tasting and unique– French fries topped with sour cream and sigsig and sauce– has a mild bit of heat to it and the sigsig complements it perfectly. The Lechon Kawali(fried pork) is cooked perfectly and is never greasy. They also have a twist on the taco and burrito which tastes great with sigsig and lime, onion and cilantro. We will continue to come back and we’re so happy a Filipino restaurant is super close to us now!

Went here for dinner with friends, we were all craving Filipino food and I must say this place did not disappoint! We got their Nacho and Sisig Fries for appetizer and both were fingerlickin’ good! We also got their Crispy Kare-Kare it’s served like the typical crispy pata but with Kare-kare sauce on the side where you can dip your crispy pata, it was yummy and different! The sisig and lechon kawali was also good! We ordered Sisig Burrito for to-go and it was the BOMB!!! The staff here is also super nice and friendly, it was the owner who served us and he gave us free buko pandan for dessert and it tasted like home, it was creamy, not too sweet and I loved the tiny sago :) Will definitely be back to try the other ulams they serve!

Rewriting my review because they’re under new management! New menu, better tasting food! We came back expecting to get the same thing we got last time but we were happy to find out they changed they’re menu. The biggest change was getting rid of having the same adobo with different toppings. Now they have adobo with different meat, but just one sauce, and it’s DELICIOUS. They also now have two sizes for their sisig fries and they also offer a pulled pork adobo fries. They have more entrees to share or if you don’t want to share, they have rice plates that come with your choice or white or aunties garlic rice(it’s still super yummy), your choice of meat, and lumpia! They even have breakfast all day and great desserts. For our return visit, we ordered both the sisig fries and the adobo fries, as well as pork belly adobo with garlic rice on the side and everything was delicious. The adobo felt like home, the porkbelly was tender and supple and melted in my mouth. The sauce wasn’t too rich and paired very nicely with the garlic rice, neither of which were competing with each other. But the real winners were the fries! They were so crunchy, they took the sauce well with out getting soggy, making that perfect, meat-to-fry bite that much better. Even when I had them as leftover later, they still tasted as good. I still think that these are the best sisig fries in the bay. We ended up getting buko pandas after, which is a new addition to the menu and it was super yummy! It was nice and creamy, not to sweet and was paired nicely with the ice cream. Make sure to save room for this because it’s kinda perfect. I don’t know what else to say besides you need to stop wasting time finishing this review, and make your way over here!

This place is under new management with new owners who are friendly, accommodating, and down-to-earth people. They are currently in the process of revamping the place, but none the less the food here is delicious. My fiancé and I always opt to eat here for a post workout meal, because they give a good amount of protein and carbs for you(lol powerlifter problems). Anyways, I like this place a lot unlike most Asian places, there are no fatty pieces to the meat and they have a variety of fusion dishes which makes it appetizing and the portions are good although I would like more meat to my dish. So far, adobo is good and my bf really enjoyed the Cali sisig burrito.

Adobe Connection is now under new management and the change has been tremendous! The sisig fries and pork lumpia are must-orders. Staff members are friendly, attentive, and fast. I’m sure I’ll be visiting again in the near future.

Really good service! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile… Started us off with some drinks and knows when they need to refill it. Make sure you order their sisig fries under appetizers! So… GOOD and that’s what they’re known for. I love to support local restaurants but the owners that I’ve met here are real cool, welcoming, and down to earth! Just a young couple that loves to share their culture with really good infused Filipino and American food. Definitely going to come back with some more friends and family.

Came here 30 mins before closing and we weren’t sure if they were still serving food. We were greeted by a friendly guy at the register. This was our first time here so we didn’t know what to order. He recommended us to try the sisig fries because it was their popular appetizer. It was DELICIOUS!!! I recommend this to everyone! We also ordered the pork adobo and it tasted very flavorful. I definitely see myself coming here more often.

First time trying this place with my boyfriend! We ordered the Ultimate Sisig fries and Cali Sisig burrito. It was alright, it wasn’t authentic food but instead more Americanized! It was still pretty good though, the fries were crunchy. If you’re looking to eat somewhere that’ll satisfy your cravings for both Filipino food and American food, this place is very recommended!

South and east bay heads, if you’re ever coming down with sisig fries or sisig burrito cravings and don’t want to drive all the way up to the city, come thru to Adobo Connection in UC. They’ll fix you right up with a ridiculously delicious and satisfying plate of porky goodness.

Adobo Connection is under new ownership and management, so much has changed, for the better! Since going to adobo connection last week, we’ve been back several times! It’s so good! My family and I have tried several items on their menu: Tocilog burrito-So yummy! Garlic fried rice, tocino and scrambled eggs all in a burrito! Kare-Kare– Perfect amount of veggies and meat in a serving. I like that they don’t skimp out on the amount of oxtail they give you and the meat is so tender! Sisig fries– My husband favorite! The fries are crunchy and they don’t drown them in the sauce. That orange sauce is delicious! Sisig– Super flavorful and just the right amount of crunch! Adobo– Love that they use good quality meat, and the sauce is the perfect amount of soy sauce and vinegar! It’s really hard to make adobo amazing, but Adobo Connection has done it! Lumpia– Perfectly fried and yummy! Don’t miss out on the desserts they serve either! We had the turon and ice cream, OMG! The buko-pandan is not too sweet, just sweet enough. Make sure you save room! All of our food came out quickly and the service is really great! We will definitiely be coming back!

If I could add more stars, I would. HANDSDOWNTHEBEST. I don’t even know where to begin. When you walk in the place is so clean! Super clean compared to the other stores in the complex. Customer service was good. We were welcomed like they wanted us to be there. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted because everything sounded so good. I had to change my mind like 3 times. I ended up going for the sisig burrito(pork sisig, rice, sour cream and pico de gallo). I had an option of subbing in fries, which I ended up doing. I don’t like burritos, but oh man. THISWASGOOD. I don’t usually finish my food but I ate almost the whole thing. I also had dessert, turon ala mode(fried wrapped banana with ice cream) OHMYGOD. SOGOOD. My friend had ordered sisig fries and I ended up trying some. AGAINSOGOOD. JR, the owner, had also try samples of their buko pandan(coconut strings, tap pearls, pandan jelly). Do I really have to say how good it was also? I know there are other Filipino restaurants in the area, but THISPLACEIS A MUSTTRY. It’s under a new management, so it’s worth a try. Mos def come back here! I didn’t take pictures of the food because it all looked so good that we just dove in!

Humm… well, if you really want a grease feast, this would be the place to go, I think. I went here for a quick to-go but even their service is so so and there was only two of them there. I was the only customer at the time(12pm) and then a few others came after I placed my order. The young lady at the front was very nice and got my small order down. The cook got my order ready and it was sitting on the counter for a bit while the young lady was still getting my Ube shake ready. The shake is usually the first thing to make, right? I have been wanting to try this place since it opened. I only ordered an Ube Shake(no other sizes) and Sisig fries. I think the Ube shake needs a little bit more sugar or maybe, I have just a sweet tooth. ;-p The Sisig fries was a good portion for only $ 3.95 but the fries was very greasy. I thought it was the Sisig that made the fries greasy but I checked inside. The Sisig fries was pretty good even though but it lacked the spiciness. There was a good portion of meat vs fries surprisingly. I don’t know if it had jalapenos but I think it was small bits of red and green bell peppers that I can see instead. I recommend to add some jalapenos please and drain the fries better then this would be perfect! I would get this all the time! I will come back and give it a try again. I do want to try the other dishes but I am afraid the others would be greasy as well. I hope it changes then I will revise my review… ;)

It gives me a smile to discover new Filipino businesses, especially where I could buy freshly-made food to eat. (Not that I don’t cook. I do cook. In fact, to correct a Unilocaler who sent me a compliment with really passive-agressive bully comments, I would like to point out that I took several culinary courses in the Philippines — Le Cordon Bleu is one of them. So, yeah, to that Unilocaler whose name I choose not to mention, I do know how to cook. — Referring to his compliment via my review on Bob’s Hoagy Steaks which got deleted. — I know not related to this; sorry.) Anyway, this is one of those Filipino places that I’d like to go back to, because it has all the comfort food I grew up with. Tapa, Tocino, Sisig, Sinangag … yum! The place is in a busy plaza. You might have trouble finding a parking spot, but it’s worth going to. It is a small hole-in-the-wall type of joint, so I wouldn’t plan eating inside. Take out is the best for me. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you have to. Now I’m craving garlic rice. LOL.
