GETGARLICFRIES!!! I ordered the lamb wrap. It came with a small salad. Overall, it was OK. Pretty good. It needed some sauce, so I dipped it in a mixture of the ketchup and the white sauce. I wish it had some kind of more middle-eastern tasting moisture in it. Maybe hummus or something? Or now that I’m thinking, maybe that’s what the white sauce was for(I was not thinking at the time — too hungry). I finished it and was able to eat garlic fries after. Garlic fries were the star of the show!!! So garlicky! Since I checked in on Unilocal,I was able to get some free tea! Unexpectedly, they said the tea was a post-dinner tea, so I kind of expected it to be sweet. Unfortunately, it was not. Fortunately, the tea was a good quality tea, flavorful and not drying! One of my eating-mates raved about her baba ganoush so I guess that is also recommended! Service was very efficient. The man making our food took our orders going down the line very quickly before we had even paid so that he could start cooking immediately. We did not have to wait long at all for our food to arrive!

Menu prices on Unilocal aren’t updated. Plates went up to $ 9.99. Wraps are $ 7.25. Other than that, the food is pretty tasty and filling. In my opinion, the chicken is a lot tastier than the beef. I haven’t tried the lamb.

I tried for the third and final time and I give up. The food does not taste the same anymore as it did with the previous owner. I use to come to the place twice a month in 2014. I noticed last year that the workers were not the same. I tried it once after summer of 2015 and was disappointed. I tried it again a month or so later and was disappointed again. I was really hoping they had improved tonight, but again I was sadly disappointed. I ordered a falafel plate and garlic fries. The falafel was tasteless and overcooked. I had to put ketchup on it just to give it some flavor. The hummus was not blended well enough and had no flavor. The garlic fries were soaked in garlic paste. The bread was dry and the salad tasted metallic. My friend and I use to love this place, but we won’t be coming back again.

My boyfriend and I come here atleast once a week. Combo plate is the best! Rice is good but a little salty for my taste. Everything else Spot on

Wow! The food here induces bite after endless bite. With an interior that may be off-putting to some, Mr. Kebab serves up some really heavenly Halal food. First off… the Garlic fries! I only got this since so many reviews recommended it, and I was not disappointed! There were tiny bits of garlic in it, yes, but with an extra unique kick of some sort of spice that complemented it so nicely. I couldn’t finish it all, but if I had a larger stomach I would’ve wolfed that entire thing down. I ordered #13, the combo doner kebab which includes lamb, chicken, and beef, along with saffron rice and salad. The flavorful meats are a highlight — juicy, tender, and not overly salty. It paired well with the saffron rice, and the salad helped to balance all of the flavors out. As I mentioned, the interior seems a bit unsanitary but I didn’t mind it at all. It kind of resembles a food court cafeteria. There is a vending machine with standard complimentary water, yay! Free Turkish tea with Unilocal check-in. It was presented fancily but the tea seemed rather plain and is close to black tea in flavor. I’ll be back for you, Mr. Kebab!

Generally good experience… the place is some times a bit dirty… The reason for 2 star is that they call their meat shwarma… don’t turn on the machine… instead cut raw meat off the stack then grill it… don’t stack the meat if your not going to turn on the machine…

Went here over the weekend and i was happy with my experience. Prices are fair for the bay area. I went we a chicken wrap and its flavor was pretty good, though i prefer my chicken a little more seasoned. It included a salad too which was pretty good. Portions were pretty big and i couldn’t finish it. Dessert is WAYYY too expensive though, i dont know who thinks $ 4 is a fair price for small slice of baklava. Place was a little dirty but that could have been after a rush so i wont be too critical there.

Yummy! Delicious! Ordered chicken kebab and salad plate, skipped the rice but it looked delicious! The side of bread cane with the salad too. The bread was soooo yummy, think its saffron they add! The chicken was fresh and got 4 skewers, kinda small but delicious! Got a free turkish tea for checking in on Unilocal too. The guys are friendly too even though they are super busy! Nice, try it out

Ordered baklava, garlic fries and #13 chicken and beef bonor kebab rice plate. It was my first time here and it was soooo good! Everything! The fries were thin and crispy and wayyy flavored, the baklava was delicious but super super sweet and the best part was the giant portion and rice! The chicken was a little dry but I didn’t mind so much after adding some sauce to it. The total was only $ 19 so that was rad.

The portion are a lot smaller now. This how much you get with four skewers of lamb for $ 12 which includes tax. The seasoning has also change and the salad was overpowered by the onions. Not enough dressing on the salad. So sad, the food quality and quantity is not the same as it use to.

The gyro: my husband ordered this and really enjoyed it. The vegetarian plate: the falafel was a little overcooked, which was a bummer. But the hummus and side salad were really good. Everyone else there seemed to have ordered a kebab plate, so I’ll be going back to try one of those.

Gave this place one last try. I used to go here all the time, but time and time again I have been disappointed. Today I decided this is my last. I don’t know if they are under new management but this place used to be really good. Now not so much… plus I was over charged. Environment: Medium sized, casual. Food: Not as good, I’ve had better. Their Kabobs have become much smaller, they are almost about an inch per piece with about 4 on a stick. They are«fun sized» for sure. A star for the meat, although small, is cooked well. Not chewy, nice and soft. The bread sometimes is stale, today my sister described the taste and texture like a pizza crust. Their saffron rice is okay — it was fluffy and soft, a little on the mooshy side and didn’t have the topped spices like before. The salad is meh, maybe it was because it was the end of the day but it just looked tired, wilting, and had too much dressing. Drinks: Love the bottled ginger beer they sell here. The Turkish tea I’ve had before, doesn’t seem to be anything special, but hey its free with check in. Price for quality and quantity: Overpriced. Portions are small, quality was not satisfying. Also I was overcharged per plate I ordered to-go, he just punched in one number several times for all plates. I didn’t realize it until I got home and I wish I didn’t leave a tip. Overall experience: I wish I could take back my tip, because they did not deserve it, especially since I ordered take out today. I didn’t have one napkin packed. No utensils at all. Then I come home to dinky pieces of meat. Very nice staff a star for them, so nice that I get blinded and try over and over to like this place again. But I’ve had enough.

Really enjoyed the Beef or Chicken Wraps for a quick, relatively lighter lunch. Definitely add the sauces they give you to the wraps for a better experience. Their fries are also pretty good, wish they had some kind of Wrap + Fries combo for those cheat days. Kind of hard to find, it’s tucked into an inside corner of the plaza next to Starbucks.

Very friendly staff and great food. One time the guy even explained to me his baklava recipe. Their baklava is really good. I usually get the combo doner kebab plate cause the meat here is really good. My gf gets the falafel wrap and she really likes it. Their garlic fries are a good deal as well if your into that.

I do like this place. I’ve been coming here at least once or twice a month and every time I go there, they make me feel welcome. The staffs and cooks have really good energy. You can really tell when they great you like a friend. It almost feel like the Cheer TV show. Let’s talk about the food there. If it wasn’t any good, I wouldn’t be returning. Every once a while, I would try other Mediterranean restaurants. Mr. Kebab is still my favorite, I usually get the chicken or lamb kebab, that comes with the season yellow rice that my 3 year old son also likes, some salad and a piece of bread.

Not many places serving authentic Doener in San Francisco, so we stopped here on our way back to LA. They use the correct bread which is a bonus and the hardest thing to find here and offer a mix of lamb/beef as well as chicken. I asked to sample both and they were kind and generous enough to make a small plate of each. We all preferred the chicken and went with two sandwiches that came with a side salad and an order of fries. Fries were very tasty, nicely seasoned and a huge portion for $ 2.50. The sandwiches on the small side and not much meat, but again priced well at $ 6.50 The store is a bit run down and the area not great, but there was tons of easy parking and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Not a fan of their white sauce, the red spicy one was better. Worth a stop if you are craving Turkish food!

That rice though! Can I just get ALLTHERICE!?! The Lamb Kebabs are usually great, not too chewy, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The proportions are just enough to keep your tummy a little past happiness. Prices are nice too. But beware, perfection takes some time… The owner is super friendly and a family man. The men who work here take pride in their food and work. I never crave this food, that is, until I smell it!!! Mmm…

There are so many middle eastern food places in Union City or Fremont that it’s difficult to rate this place as I have been to better. Been going here a few times now during lunch time only and service has been ok. The guys behind the counter are pretty friendly but not for conversationist. It’s not really crowded here so it’s a good thing. They do have outdoor seating on warm days. The place is so so clean. Tables are sometimes sticky and the soda machine is kinda gross. Food is pretty good but there are a few times the meats have no flavor so I would need to put a lot of yogurt or spicy sauce. Their sauces are pretty good but not spicy at all. I do like their garlic fries. The garlic bits packs a big garlic kick. I will most likely be back to eat the fries and yogurt sauce… ;-)
