Omg! This is the most horrible restaurant ever! This is the worst restaurant I have been to. Both food and service suck!!!

New management. I ordered a small beef phở and spring roll. Both items were disappointing. The soup: The meat was not fresh and very chewy and overcooked. The broth was bland and had chunks of fat floating on the surface, like the meat has been boiled in the soup vs. added at the very end. The spring rolls: I bit into one and there was a shrimp tail inside! So gross I didn’t bother to finish them. The peanut sauce was flavorless as well. To their credit, they took the spring roll off the tab. And everything is over priced. A small bowl of phở was $ 9.25!!!

I would give this place minus star. Worst place ever! The owner should be ashamed for serving this type of food to the customers. DONOTCOMEHERE.

Run by Chinese mainlanders. This has to be the worst approximation of Phở I’ve ever had. You can still taste the freezer burn on the meat. The soup is just salt water. Smell the bleach residue on the utensils and bowls. Tables are sticky. The top of my Sriracha bottle fell into my soup. Ick! No amount of Sriracha can fix this bowl of noodles!

Why is this establishment still here? Read the reviews and trust them on this one. I went in with my family to try their Guilin noodles and phở(without reading reviews first). The one I ordered only had one taste. Salty. I ordered the #1 in the Guilin noodles section, the spring rolls, and my brother ordered the main phở. My mom ordered the traditional Guilin noodles in this large clay pot. The spring rolls were a mess and super small – shrimp shells intact with the shrimp. My brothers phở apparently was loaded with msg, and my was also filled with msg sauce that was just plain salty. Not even sure what the heck I was eating after a few bites. It came with a small bowl of soup and I poured the entire thing in, hoping it would help lessen the salty taste. Didn’t work. Oh and they also have tiny little flies flying around and hovering over you :) so if you like extremely tasteless salty food, msg bombs, and flies keeping you company, by all means, try this place! Don’t forget to grab a drink because you’ll be super thirsty afterwards!

So my friend wanted phở so we went here bc it was close by but when we walked in there wernt many patrons so my other friend checked Unilocal and with the low ratings we decided not to stay. Still we felt bad coming in and leaving so we ordered drinks to go. I got fresh coconut juice and it was bomb af. So 3 stars bc the juice was good but obvs I can’t speak to the food.

This place has to be a front for money laundering. Nothing is good about this place and it’s dirty AF. Chinese-owned Vietnamese joint. Need I say more?

We went here without reading the reviews realizing that it was a new owner. The phở I ordered tasted bland. My friend ordered a riceplate and the meat was still raw when he sliced into it, It was completely RED!!! Are they trying to get him sick?! My boyfriend then complained to the server and she apologized and took the plate back to the kitchen. We were expecting them to come out with a new plate, or to at least re-cook the meat but after waiting so long we just went ahead and asked for the check and she told us she removed the rice plate off our bill. Never coming back here ever again. Avoid at all costs!!!

Simply GROSS! New management that results in different everything. Used to come here and always had good food when the old management used to run it. New management is offering both Chinese and Vietnamese food, but I don’t think they know what they are doing with the Vietnamese portion(at least that’s what we ordered). Friend and I ordered a couple of phos and spring rolls. The phở or the bowl came smelling like old wet rag that was left in a dark corner for days. Noodles were off and broth was suspect. The spring rolls did not contain any meat and was soggy; filled with oil. VERYDIFFERENT than what it used to be. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Weather is colder. Time for Phở. Unfortunately this will never be the place. It must be under management. Fruit flies on all the condiments, water cups were dirty on the inside. It looks like food poisoning waiting to happen. My home gurl left them 25 dollars and we bounced.

THISPLACEDESERVESNOSTARS! It never occurred to me that there could be a terrible phở restaurant. Well there is! Their PHO is TERRIBLE! It’s not even Vietnamese, the owners are Chinese. I ordered the beef ball phở; the broth was terribly bland. The beef balls were cut in quarter size, not half like the usual Vietnamese restaurants. BEWARNED! DONOTCOMEHEREANDWASTEYOURMONEY!

OMG worst food ever! Vegetables are wilted, no fish sauce with Vietnamese plate dish. The owners seem to be Chinese not Vietnamese. Which explains the poor quality of Vietnamese dishes. Phở flavor bland. Try it for yourself, I’m sure you will agree. Thumbs down. This used to be a really good Vietnamese restaurant before the new management took over.

don’t even think about trying this place(save yourself money, time, and the painful stomach churning) This was my second time coming here after the management change. This used to be Phở Tuong Lai, aka the best phở around the tricity area in my opinion. It used to be so reliable and satisfying and amazing tbh. After the management changed, I decided to try it out because there was still a good amount of people in the restaurant so I thought maybe the quality didn’t change. When I ate, the broth of the phở wasn’t as potent or flavorful, a little diluted but it was still okay. Not the best like before though. This was within the month that the management changed. I recently went back for a family dinner and was expecting the same okay-ish phở. Boy, was I wrong. I don’t know how a restaurant can be open and serve mediocre food(maybe because of the people like me who hope/expect to eat good food because its what we’re paying for…). The broth of the phở was so watered down. The initial sip had phở flavor but like 2 seconds later, there’s no taste in your mouth. There’s no after taste whatsoever. The bean sprouts they served us were flimsy and yellowish, not fresh and borderline spoiled. They didnt serve lime or cilantro. There was no hoisin sauce either… like seriously. they didnt have the basics essentials to phở. The rare steak in my phở was so stiff, dry and difficult to chew. The cups and utensils were sticky(they didnt even bother to change the dishwear after they bought out the place???). I always finish my bowl of phở, but this time i barely ate half and decided it wasnt worth being full off of this. I had to use the bathroom late at night after this phở… The only good thing probably was that they gave us straws without us having to ask for them.

DONOTEATHERE… I wish Unilocal would allow ‘Zero Stars’ as an option! This is the worst service we’ve ever received. This restaurant went to the dogs ever since the change in ownership. My wife and I went to have lunch here, and noticed the lack of help, but decided to stay. After sitting down, we noticed how dirty the place was. The spoons and forks stacked at the table were all heavily spotted. We asked for water, and both of us noticed dust floating on top of the surface. I had ordered Thai Tea with Milk, and it was a very long time coming, in fact we tried to ask about 4 times when it would be served, and we’re ignored twice and told two other times that it was coming. It finally arrives, and it’s horrible. We both ordered Beef Tenderloin and Flank Phở, which was not hot enough to soften the bean sprouts and basil. There were no soup spoons at any of the tables, and no napkins as well. We ended up leaving all of the broth as a result when we walked away. While eating we saw how dirty the floor was, and the general uncleanness of the whole place. When I paid for the bill I voiced my concerns and all I got in broken English was, ‘But I am all by myself’ …Well, then hire someone who knows what they’re doing!!! The new owners obviously do not know a thing about business in general, let alone the restaurant business in particular. ELMERFUDDCOULDDO A BETTERJOB!!!

This place is a chinese restaurant trying to serve Vietnamese food. My husband is Vietnamese and I am chinese so I have been to my fair share of Vietnamese restaurants. The broth is not bad, a bit salty. But comes with a pathetic side serving of maybe 10 bean sprouts, 1 stalk of cilantro and some sliced jalepenos. No basil at all. We also did not like the way the server handled the bowl with her thumbs inside the bowl. Definitely need to take some hygiene lessons. For the rice and dried vermicelli dishes, the seasoning of the fish sauce leaves much to be desired. No pickles or peanuts or dried cilantro either. The worst part, none of the grilled meat has any lemongrass seasoning. Just maybe soy sauce or oyster sauce. Definitely not Vietnamese tasting and more like a salty chinese meat. The place also smells a little stuffy and strange. Not crowded at all and I bet no real Vietnamese eats here.

DON’T EATHERE! YOUWILLREGRETIT!!! If I could give a 0 star, I would. It’s the worst phở I’ve ever had. The place is dirty, and it’s not real Vietnamese food. The people that runs the place are Chinese. The noodles were over cooked and mushy, and there was a hole in my meat. I didn’t bite into it, so I don’t know there can be a hole in my meat that looks like someone took a bit out of. Also, the rare steak doesn’t come as rare. It’s overly cooked like it’s been cooking for hours. It also have a really weird taste.

ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING! DONOTDINEHERE!!! We went there tonight and we noticed the place looked different. Anyhow I ordered the very safe rice plate that had the pork chop and chicken wings. To my disappointment they were OUT of chicken wings so I subbed with beef. My wife ordered the Lemon grass chicken over rice. It takes a long time for my food to arrive and when it does the pork looked not very seasoned and the beef extremely skimpy. I said well I hope it tastes ok. Omg it was horrible! It actually tasted sour!!! I’ve been to vietnamese places all over but this is a first. Soon after the lemon grass chicken arrived and it also tasted terrible! We asked if I can switch my plate but when the lemon grass chicken was bad we didn’t want ANYTHING from this place. They speak very POOR english but fortunately a nice fellow customer was able to translate for me. We told them we didn’t want to eat the food as something was wrong with it. We only paid for our smoothies which were only ok at best. Much worse than before renovation or change of ownership! As a side note that customer mentioned to me her meat was a bit weird too… I am never ever going back to this place! This is the absolute WORST vietnamese place I’ve been to! ZEROSTARS!!! MINUS5STARS!!! Dine here at your own risk. You’ve been warned!

The nastiest restaurant ever. The first time I ate one bite of my food and decided to leave. The owner noticed we got up and didn’t finish our food, but didn’t ask if anything was wrong. Believe me I wanted to her ask. This is a Chinese owned Vietnamese restaurant weird. Go to Mai’s kitchen across the street where The food is authentic Vietnamese, service is great and well worth it.
