Subway

It’s just like any other good subway except the customer service is always great. They are quick but make their food well and are always very nice. The manager is awesome

I’ve been here on and off since they opened and no matter what time I go I always get a crappy sandwich.
I always get it to-​go, so by the time I get home to bite into my delicious sandwich it’s such a disappointment.
Dislikes:
1. Meat always cold. microwave and/​or toaster not strong enough?
2. Parking is crap, like the starbucks drive through completely owning the parking lot
3. Staff DGAF
This subway might be «pretty» but it doesn’t make up for the mediocre food.

I’m a sucker for BBQ… ‘Ribs, steaks, and sandwiches. I work in the local area and have been seeing the ads for Subways, Applewood Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich. I came by the other day & saw the drive-​thru just off to the right side, perfect… ‘So, I thought. (Insert buzzer sound here.) «WRONG ANSWER, thank you for playing!» ‘Just say I ended up driving away with a Starbuck’s Grande Mocha instead…
**Note: There is a Starbuck’s adjacent to the Subway; the drive-​thru is for Starbuck’s NOT Subway. (I’m sure the guy @ the window was a bit bewildered when I asked for a Value Meal… ‘And probably wasn’t the first time that mistake happened, or last.)

However, this evening I had a bit more time to actually walk in… It was a little after 6:30pm, the place was empty. The dining area looked like it had just been mopped, overall, very clean.

Alyssa, the young lady behind the counter took my order, very friendly, helpful and attentive… ‘And offered a few good suggestions.
BBQ Sandwich Ad —
For a couple dollars more, the best value is the foot long compared to the 6″ option.
The Applewood BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich was «okay,» nothing to rave about but it hit the spot… ‘Looked nothing like the ad, I’d say it had about ¼ the meat of what the actual photo showed.

Subway makes an okay sandwich…
Their Applewood BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich didn’t really disappoint, «It’s a subway, what is there to say really?» The BBQ sandwich fell kinda where I expected it to, between the «M’eh» and «Okay» category. (Shrugs)

I really like this Subway. This is one of my favorite subways in Vacaville. They have super friendly staff. I’ve never had an issues with any of the good and they always have what I need. There’s another Subway in Vacaville that always runs out of items.

This review is about the service.
The owner is a very nice man. I think he truly cares about his customer. (He’s taken care of me a few times when something needed to be handled…)
The girls that work the counter are what motivated me to write this review, and I hope they read it and this is HELPFUL information.
First I want to say that these girls have been working at this counter for a long time. They are very familiar faces. They ALWAYS get the order right and are VERY FAST. They are GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, bravo for that to you. Thank you…
Here’s the issue… Their expressions, body language and eye contact make me and my company very uncomfortable. I usually come with my daughter, and we get anxious when it’s our turn because they get REALLY ANNOYED if you don’t order right, or hesitate.
They seem DISINTERESTED and IMPOLITE but I have been there so many times I’m used to it. Their faces almost always have a SCOWL on them, and they create a very unwelcome experience. (I’m not sure they even realize it!)
It’s worth repeating that they are VERY FAST, ALWAYS get the order right, and even ring the order the way that gives the best value… (Sometimes if a combo or special is a better deal, they point it out without having to ask!)
Girls, I hope you’re reading because you’re REALLY GOOD at what you do and that is APPRECIATED but DAMN you make me feel like I’m BOTHERING you every time I walk through the door. (I have eaten here about 40 times in the last 18 months…)
SMILE just a LITTLE BIT and let me know I’m NOT ANNOYING YOU and this would be such a DIFFERENT REVIEW. My hope is you just don’t realize it, and this might make you think about it a little bit.
Or maybe you really are annoyed that people are there, I don’t know.
Thanks again for being FAST and always getting it right, but stop making it seem like we are bugging you! :)

I go here too much! I work in the same plaza, and when I go on my lunch break it’s just so easy to walk to Subway instead of driving home in the heat! Love the friendly staff. Always pretty clean.
