I love this place! Their rice soup is comfort for me when it’s cold outside. Their shrimp egg rolls are so good and nobody else makes them. Been going here for years and it is definitely a hidden gem!

I have been going to the restaurant since 2002. VERYNICE! The owners have spoiled me rotten with THEBEST chinese restaurant service in the bay area! Even though Vallejo has a few sketchy areas, you can dine in this place and FEELSAFE since all the police department frequents this establishment(plus they have extra security at the entry door). Always fresh food and vegetables — and you never have to worry about getting good service! It’s a business that caters to all food lover. The crab cheese wontons, wonton soup, and seafood fried rice — all YUMYUMGOOD!!! They memorize your order if you are a regular and you can even call in ahead of time if you are ordering food to go! If you enjoy good Chinese food, this is the GOTO place in Vallejo!

Our first time here and it was great! Everything came out hot and fresh. .which is how I like my food! The fried chicken was so good because it’s dipped in corn starch instead of flour .which is a necessity for me since I have a gluten intolerance. The pots tickers are hand made and the potsticker sauce is so yummy! It’s a nice family operated restaurant and I love supporting small businesses!

Recently came here the food was so good and fresh. I ordered the pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The staff is so nice. Prices are a little to much though but will gladly come back. Quality food

Come here on Sundays with the family. Truly a hidden gem in the Vallejo. Quality Chinese food and service is great. The wait might be a little long because they have very little staff but are nonetheless super friendly. Their walnut prawns and stuffed mushrooms are bomb

The staff is very respectful towards their customers. Food is always above average. The General Chicken is probably our favorite. Can’t stop thinking about the great service.

Our favorite restaurant in Vallejo, the food is always fresh the staff is great. they even play with my daughter while we eat and and take her into their kitchen to see them cook. a great restaurant that is family run. I can’t say enough about how good their food is. Try the sea bass with lemongrass. Out of this world. If you like original Chinese food you have to go here. Don’t miss out on this.

After working managing and owning restaurants I never leave reviews after one visit. I started going here a few months ago and ordered something different each time. These include appetizers, chow miens, chow fun, beef, chicken and vegetable dishes. The food has a consistent high quality of ingredients and is cooked properly, service is attentive to your needs. There is a loyal following, now including me. The only drawback is the location is not easily spotted from the street.

TODIEFOR! I have been coming here for years and I do not go to any other Chinese restaurants because this spot is dynamically DELICIOUS. Do yourself a favor and ignore all the other Chinese food restaurants around Vallejo and go here. I always go with copious orders of chow fun & hot and sour soup for my family and I go with extra orders for the next day as well therefore I skip making my lunch for work. A great place to patronize and the employees are awesome people. Mmmmmmmm!!!

Been coming here for years. Hands down the best food around. Have to try salt and pepper prawns and my wife and fight over the last of the pork fried rice.

Best place hands down in vallejo or benicia for Chinese food. The woman who runs it always remembers me and is the sweetest and always remembers that I love extra green onion on my soup. The hot and sour soup is amazing and I also love the Chinese brocoli with beef and sweet and sour chicken it’s so good! I would 100% recommend this to anyone who loves amazing Chinese food.

Lucky Garden is just a few blocks from our house. We’ve meaning to try it but a little put off, rarely seeing cars in the parking lot. I guess most of their business is delivery or take-out. We were the only ones in the restaurant tonight — a Saturday night. We had to ring to be let in, probably a necessary security measure when no one is in the restaurant. The space is large, a little tired looking, but pleasant enough. The food and service are better than we expected. Not the best Chinese food in town, but much better than many of the restaurants that have 4 stars here on Unilocal.Wor Wonton soup was mild and pretty good. I would guess the wontons and shrimp were frozen. Spicy green beans and chicken was nicely spiced — most places here don’t believe us when we say we like things really spicy. They did and we thought the heat was just right. We also had spicy garlic shrimp, served with zucchini and water chestnuts. Our favorite dish of the evening and again the heat was just right. The chef and waitress both came over to ask if everything was alright and the chef smiled when we confirmed we like things spicy. Very nice people working here. And we were so happy to find a decent restaurant in walking distance and the best Chinese food in our part of town. It’s always a little odd being the only diners in a restaurant, but this isn’t at all unusual in Vallejo. Having tried most of the Chinese restaurants in town, only Princess Garden and China Wok serve better food.

No fireworks here, just a decent chinese resto in Vallejo if you have an urgent craving for chinese food. The place is a bit hidden in a little sketchy area I assume. We went on a Sunday night after the Napa earthquake that morning and was a bit amused that we had to ring the doorbell for the server to open the glass door for us. The food we ordered were okay and liked much the chinese broccoli with beef. We paid $ 38 for 3 dishes. Server was nice and attentive.

My friend and I had a big feed at Lucky Garden for under $ 25. Both dishes were tasty, and the service very nice. We had one dish with broccoli, mushrooms, and water chestnuts, and the other dish was a spicy eggplant. The leftovers made for lunch the next day for two. I will definitely be back for more.

We used to come here a lot after church but now we just come here from time to time when visiting or guests come into town visiting my mom. If they’ve been here before, they always tell us to take them back to «That place that has the really good fried chicken.» LOL What we swallowed on our latest visit: CRISPYWONTON: These were just fried won ton wrappers, no meat inside. Bummers. You can’t really mess up frying won ton wrappers and they were served with a side of sweet and sour sauce. SZECHUANBEEF: This dish was spicy and the julienned veggies were fresh and crispy. The sauce had a good flavor and wasn’t overly sweet. We liked this dish. SWEETANDSOURPORK: Crispy chunks of pork and good portions of peppers, carrots, onion, and pineapple. I really liked that the meat was crispy and the veggies were fresh. CHINESEBROCCOLI: Fresh, simple and tasty, served with hoison(or oyster?) sauce. Can’t go wrong with this dish. CRISPYFRIEDCHICKEN: Our family favorite and the reason we come to this restaurant. We order it as soon as we walk in as it takes a while to cook. They fry the chicken perfectly(no batter) and it’s so crispy and addicting. They serve shrimp chips with it so that’s a nice touch. FANTASTICDISH! BROWNRICESIDE: Yay for brown rice! Service is nice here and the waitress knows my mom since we come here often so that’s always a plus. This is our favorite lil’ gem of a restaurant in the V. Give ‘em a try, you won’t be disappointed.
