The Habit Burger Grill

Ok so went there a couple months ago and was some what disappointed. The reason being was because this place is just like a regular burger place, I’ve been to some burger places that look run down and have way better food than this place and have better prices. To be honest, this place is too over priceda and food is ok. In n out is way better then this place

I ordered online ahead of time. Once I got there the food was almost ready. They loaded me up with hot fries and onion rings. I was happy with the service as well. 4 stars because there are homeless people hanging out next door.

How anybody can eat this stuff is beyond me.
The service is terrible, blasting pop music, bored teens. The girl who took my order could not comprehend what «no lettuce» meant. I had to repeat the order five times! She did not listen and tried to sell me everything they offer. Jeeez!
The veggie burger was tasteless and bland, even with onions and condiments,. Cheap ingredients. The wheat bun was like balsa wood. NEVER AGAIN!
Unless you are 12, or have zero taste in food, DO NOT EAT HERE!

I really like this location the only thing is missing in the menu is small description of what is each hamburger include.
I ordered the chicken club and unfortunately its came with bacon. I told to the manager which she replace it for me immediately but why they don”t include any kind of description in the menu?! I am still going to give it 4+ stars since the food is really good
Hopefully in the future they will write down a little bit more description about the menu

This place had everything dreamable to the mind and I can never stop eating the food or rather WANTING to hahah
Nirit had a review here where Nirit said the meal had lacking quality for you and me. Nirit is wrong. Guess what Nirit we don’t need your bad attitude on these slices and plates and you can GO! If I owned this ship I’d place «No Nirit» on the window.
Come to the Habit in Van Neyes for pleasure and a warm feeling throughout your body :)

The Habit never disappoints, but this location for some reason really blew me away today during the lunch rush. It was fast, focused on customer service, extremely clean, and delicious! Impressed me enough, I’ll probably make the drive back out there next Sunday afternoon with my teammates! Great job guys!!!

So far service is great but food quality made me sick to my stomach. Have talked to others who ate here and at the one by USC and it has caused not only me but others to feel horrible after eating here. So you might want to think twice.

Great location, this is a chain but burgers are amazing! The Santa Barbara is my favorite. But the best thing about this location is the staff! Super friendly and accommodating. They even heated water so I could warm my grandson’s bottle!

Had a tasty Ahi tuna sandwich for lunch today. This place is fast getting the food out during lunch hours too.

Gave Habit another shot… The second experience was much better! The smell was gone at least so that’s good. I’ll keep Habit on my list of burger spots now.

Great burgers, loved the truth-​tip sandwich, and awesome Santa Barbara burger. Can’t wait to find another habit.

That was my first time there. I enjoyed the condiments section but the service was not so good. The burgers assets a nice but I could not taste the freshness like an In and Out Burger. They mixed up our orders not once not twice… BUT 3 times grrrr. A guy came to our table and gave the two people I was with a free Buger coupon. I asked for one as well and was totally ignored. I can live without this place and the burgers

One of the greatest veggie burgers I’ve had in a while, and believe me they are not easy to find. Besides the burger, the fries were great, the service as great, the place was clean, and the strawberry milkshake was amazing. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend.

So I personally love the tri-​tip salad. I hate their location. Parking is nearly impossible all the time and there are so many homeless people camping out around the building it makes you loose your appetite. Telephone orders are a breeze but it doesn’t help when you have to drive around for 10 minutes looking for parking.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch today and walked in and were overwhelmed by the sewer smell. After alerting the cashier of the smell, she smiled and said «it’s normal.» Well ok… Now let’s eat?
We ordered the regular cheeseburger with a side of fries. The food was prompt! I find that the burger was very average, fries were good and maybe they should clean the grill because the meat had a weird, burned taste to it.
Overall, pretty cheap and kinda meh.

Everything is made fresh and cooked when ordered. The staff is very friendly and walks around frequently to ensure guests are satisfied. I come here often and they remember my name, which is rare these day.

I love their tempura green beans and Bbq bacon char burger. This place gets really busy during lunch time. The line is all the way outside the door.

This was my first time at The Habit and I’ve heard so many good things about this burger chain. My friend had been overhyping this place like crazy, talking about how great the burgers here were and how much better it was than In-N-Out…so my expectations were sky high (the problem with overhyping, people!!).
What I got: a solid burger, comparable to In-​N-​Out or Carls Jr (btw, I love Carls Jr burgers so that IS a compliment). The meat patty was the best part. It was actually charbroiled and tasty and I could taste it while eating the burger (I’m calling you out In-​N-​Out with your paper thin meat patties). However, In-​N-​Out has better bread… that grilled sponge dough is delicious. Also, the Habit burger was missing the tanginess of ketchup which I honestly should have just added. I like ketchup on my burgers.
I’d definitely come back to The Habit if I was feeling a healthier, less greasy burger that tasted more homestyle. I don’t think it was better than In-​N-​Out, just different. In the end, burgers aren’t my favorite foods anyways so I’d give it a 3.5 stars. I rounded it to 4 stars to be generous.

Always a great experience at the Habit. This visit was no different. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo and it was stellar (did I just use that word? Maybe I need to apply for AARP?).
I love the fact that they have jalapenos and chilies at the condiment bar so I load up on them and burn the hell out of my mouth but it’s worth it. If you are in the area, it’s definitely the best selection of the neighboring spots.
