Whoa, that was quick that it closed down, I was literally here just a month ago. I really enjoyed this cute little spot down town which was just a perfect stop away from the free way so that you could stop on by grab a cup and be on your way. I love that they make unique specialty coffees so that you don’t get bored of the menu. When I came in last, I had a Honey Earl Grey Vanilla Latte which was just the perfect amount of sweetness. You could definitely taste the coffee and have light hints of the flavor.

David and Brian gave me an espresso that changed my life! It was so delicious and had a beautiful fruity element that danced on my tongue! If you don’t like espresso, ask them for advice they will help you! My Mom had the delirium coffee and it was amazingly smooth! These guys have great manners, fantastic taste and by far the best service of any coffee shop! Thanks for the greatest experience! Go there or be square.

Always a favorite place of mine to go in Vancouver and now they have a new amazing location at 817 Washington, just a few blocks south of their«old» place. The new place is bright, open, with free wifi and lots of outlets. They also now provide some sandwiches, salads, quiche along with the most awesome pastries anywhere! As always, they toast their own beans and the staff is very knowledgeable and will help you decide if you’re unsure which one to try. Or try them all and you decide! My stand-by drink is a macchiato and it is always made to perfection — today with hemp milk. The veggie quiche was perfectly tasty — quite yummy! You won’t be disappointed.

**** They have moved to a new location since I wrote this review, they aren’t gone! Go check them out on 817 Washington! *** Stumbled onto this place while in Vancouver, so glad I did! Delicious, geeky, good music and a great place to watch the little bit of snow come down. Clearly they take their coffee brewing seriously, as visible by their hardware. I will definitely stop by again if in the neighborhood. What a lucky find, by chance.

This is the best coffee in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. I drive over from Portland every weekend because it can’t be beat. The baked goods are great and the baristas are all really friendly. I spend much of my work week dreaming about my weekend cup of Compass coffee.

I love visiting Portland, and one of the reason is to get coffee! I’m a huge stump town, but my friend recommended compass and it’s really good!

A friend of mine lives in downtown Vancouver and whenever I visit, Compass is a daily ritual. Friendly baristas, fresh baked goods, and as good of coffee as anywhere else in the North West. Excellent ambiance and a neat little outdoor seating area. Not the same tourist draw as stumptown obviously but in a good way — it feels like a locals destination; a very good thing in my opinion!

I love this little place. It was walking distance from our hotel when we were in town. I walked here every morning for a latte or cappuccino. Almost every single pedestrian in the area had a coffee in their hand from Compass. If I had more time, I would enjoy sitting in the shop and reading. There is a cabinet filled with pastries(all of which were very satisfying). They had growlers to order with their cold brew. Amazing concept! I will most definitely be back for more coffee in the future. :)

I didn’t know what good coffee was until I started coming here. LOVE their madagascar vanilla latte :) The staff is sweet and friendly and the service is quick and the pricing is amazing. Does it get any better??? I think not. It’s right down the street from my work and all my coworkers are now completely obsessed. :)

Their Ethiopian blend is great for anytime. Their hot chocolate is the best for the cold and rainy days which are so common here.

This is my second review. First review is 5 stars because you cant get better tasting coffee anywhere else in Vancouver. The reason this is two stars is because their consistency is lacking. I get the same drink every single time, and this is the third time in the last two weeks it has been made with whole milk, instead of non-fat milk. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but for $ 5 plus a tip(I don’t know why I keep tipping) its a $ 6 coffee that I cant even drink due to a dairy intolerance. I might try to take it back on lunch, or just stop coming here all together. The last time this happened the barista was very nice and remade the drink. This time, I didn’t have time to have her remake it. Maybe I am not being clear enough?! I would love to be able to come here and be happy about the service!***update*** went in and they remade it with a smile and gave me a free one for next time

The best coffee I’ve had in the Pacific NW, period. Also the best service. This is also where I buy my beans to brew my own espresso. Their blend is excellent, and you can also go for a variety of single origin beans.

Baristas are kinda coffee snobs, they turned off the music at 6 when they close at 7 so we ended up leaving. The coffee was pretty good but the vibe of the shop wasn’t all that inviting.
