While on the way to the mountains me and my girlfriend stopped here to grab something to eat. The lady at the counter greeted us with something to the effect of «what do you want?» and the manager came to ring me out. I said«have a good day» and he said nothing. No smiles, no courtesy… Food was fine, but I definitely expected more from this business.

YUMYUMYUM. Best subs in town and super quick with good prices what more could you want? And the meat is cut fresh when you order it and their premixed mayo/mustard is the bomb!

The cold cuts are especially good. They don’t use pre-sliced meat. They slice the meat as you order, which allow the cold cuts to retain their natural juiciness. Good flatbread. Good wheat wrap. Will definitely stop by again when I’m in the area.

Yum! Great, fresh sandwiches — love the roast beef with provolone cheese. The mayo/mustard combo spread gives the subs a creamy-tangy deliciousness that is unrivaled. Cannot say enough positive things about this sandwich shop.

Nice clean spot to eat if you are craving something healthy. The reason I bring that up is because, you have McDonald’s, taco bell, little ceasars, KFC, and pizza hut all in the same location. I gave this sandwich shop only 3 stars because my sandwich tasted really bland. I ordered the roast beef with everything on it and was really disappointed! The customer service was OK.

I honestly love this sandwich spot! Way better than Subway! Super fresh breads, meats, and cheeses that they slice in front of you. Awesome brownies too by the way.

Forgive me if you’ve read this review before, I just realized I posted it to the wrong location. So here it is again, going to the correct location: Port of Subs is a staple for me for lunch. It’s good, relatively cheap, and consistent. The staff is friendly, and the location is easy to get to/park. I’ve been coming to this location since it opened, and have no plans to stop. Their new(sadly) Coca-Cola drink machine that lets you mix over 100 flavors is pretty cool, though Pepsi would be better. Have you ever had raspberry Coke? Peach Mello Yello? Strawberry Sprite? The sandwiches, well who am I kidding, I only get one sandwich, the #1. It’s just the best of the bunch. I’ve had others, and they were good, but the #1 is the best. THE sandwich is good, and they’ll be happy to make it just how you want it. Napkins, straws, and the like are easily accessible(are you listening Jimmy John’s?). I guess I could complain about how the line can long at times, but really, isn’t that the type of thing you want to see during lunch hour? It moves fast and is full of friendly people, so it’s fine with me. Give them a try. You’ll be happy you did. Or if you’re not, I can recommend several places you can go to get a sandwich for more money.

This is our favorite Port of Subs location in Visalia. I love being able to order online, but there’s never any trouble with ordering on site. Everyone has always been friendly and efficient and they never give me hassles over making substitutions on my sandwiches(I really like the smoky cheddar cheese but my favorite sandwich comes with provolone.) The sandwiches are always great and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that they serve Coca Cola products(I’m a Pepsi fan. I know, the Coke is a plus for many people.) But they have recently installed a nifty soda machine that allows you to customize your drink preferences with a cool touch-screen interface.
