Called in an order and he said it would be done right now which was awesome. Ordered a breakfast burrito which was good but it lacked eggs but all in all it was very good. The hot sauce is not hot at all so make sure you have something hot on hand if you do like spicy.

I had the carne asada quesadilla and it was yummy. This is authentic Mexican food and the people there were so welcoming. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Customer service is great here! They’re very friendly. Food is good but if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price this wouldn’t be my first suggestion. /;

First time here and thought the food was not terrible but it really did not make a great impression. Ordered some tacos which had plenty of meet but the meat was not well marinated. It did have a lot of lettuce and onion. Also got a 7 mares caldo which was loaded with seafood but still didn’t have any real taste.

Great little taco house. Good food! Two thumbs up. The fact that they were open on New Year’s Eve for an early pre party dinner is a bonus!

Got some tacos to go, got home and they had lettuce on them. What self respecting taco shop puts lettuce instead of cabbage on their tacos? Needless to say, by the time i got home across town the lettuce was soggy, and the tortillas were very soggy. Tacos literally tasted watered down. My wife and i eat a lot of tacos, and we both thought they were the worst tacos we’ve had in years, possibly ever.

Never again! Walked in, it smelled like greasy cooked vomit. I took one look at their ingredients and it looked like greasy cooked vomit. I refused to order. My husband did because he didn’t want to be rude and the whole time he was eating he had a gross look on his face, he never finished his food all he said was«never again.» No he asks me if I want to eat there only as a joke. Then we laugh and laugh and laugh and quickly drive away.

Ate here with my girlfriend because most of the other restaurants in town closed by 9pm. I had a fish taco and combo plate with a beef taco and beef burrito, and she had a cheese quesadilla. Everything was decent, but the highlights were the fish taco – light and crispy with a large piece of fish served piping hot – and the piece of homemade flan we shared at the end.

I really don’t know what the hype is about this place, I can make tastier food at home. I saw all the great reviews and decided to give this place a try. My husband and I were sorrily disappointed. The portions were great but there was no taste! Everything was bland.

This is the second time we have stopped by here for breakfast burritos and weren’t disappointed. The people behind the counter are very helpful and fast. I can’t really think of anything too critical to say, everything is solid. I’d like to stop in here for lunch and see what else they have to offer. We weren’t feeling to adventurous so we both got the machaca burritos. They were good but were slightly on the bland side. One of the up-sides is that they say everything is fresh– I like that. Their version of a machaca comes with a mild white cheese and zucchini, which was unexpected but it’s nice to be surprised. There is a LOT of Mexican food to choose from in Visalia, time to add another good one to the list.

Tacos Ensenada is an okay place to get cheap food in Visalia… just as long as you’re okay with the fact that most of their food is pre-cooked and/or pre-made(store-bought). I was lured here by its convenient location and high ratings, but felt that it was probably a little overrated. The restaurant itself is small but mostly clean. When we arrived on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was mostly dead. There were a few other families eating in the restaurant with several other customers getting food to go. Nothing special about the décor here; it reminded me of what you would find at a chain franchise. The menu is extensive and has a number of options ranging from tacos and burritos to ceviche and tostadas. As a taco connoisseur, I already knew that I would be sampling several of their tacos. But, I was kind of turned off when I saw store-bought tortillas sitting in their bags on the counter and cafeteria-like vats of precooked meats sitting in their own grease. But, hey, all that grease must mean it’s more delicious, right? Wrong. The chili verde taco was one of the worst tacos I’ve ever had. The meat was bland, dry, and tough with no redeeming qualities. The other tacos I had — carne asada and carnitas — were decent, but I still felt uncomfortable knowing that I probably could have cooked equally good tacos at home. All of the traditional soft tacos are rather small, so that’s probably why the price is so low. Definitely order more than 3 – 4 if you’re hungry. The fish tacos definitely seemed larger, and had a proportionally higher price. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re looking for something cheap and convenient. Unilocal had suggested several other Mexican places in the area, and I’d recommend checking them out if you’re looking for good tacos.

So excited I found this place. They are nice and friendly. Very affordable. You can tell they have a lot of regular customers. I’ve had heir tacos which are so so yummy. My kids also love their tacos.

Average taqueria fare –based on my usual taqueria measure(4 tacos — 2 lengua &2 pastor). Lengua really bland — pastor a little more flavor. Almost no cilantro — heavier on cabbage than onions as well. Needed the supplied hot sauce to get some flavor. No salsa bar. First taqueria I’ve been to in Visalia, probably more flavorful ones out there.

I had the Ensenda burrito, it was terrible. But since i paid i was going 2 try a little more. I cut it in half and no guac, i took it back 2 the counter and the worker put a pile of guac on my plate and added salsa.(what the h#@%). If I wanted guac and salsa on the side, I would order it that way. What a waste of $.

I love fish taco Friday’s. Best chip and salsa in town! It’s a small hole in the wall but that is what makes it yummy!

Good Mexican food. This is one of the few places I can find in Visalia that has Rolled Tacos or Taquitos. I mean really how hard are Rolled tacos? They are everywhere in Southern California. I also tried their fish taco and Carnitas taco. The fish tacos was excellent as was the carnitas. Their food is very fresh and they serve beer too. Try it it is really good.

Excellent fish tacos ! Hubby had shrimp dinner plate excellent ! It’s a small place so beware large parties. Has a lot of flavor. Almost as good as I remember in Cabo San Lucas. We will be returning. Fridays are the 2 for 4.99 day. Enjoy !
