Great tacos and super cheap beer. How can you go wrong? Love the salsa bar, really miss the flan, they had the best! Their french fries are my favorite! We love Javis!

I gave this restaurant two stars because I’m feeling generous tonight. Went here for dinner this past Sunday because we wanted quick and easy Mexican. Boy did we make a mistake! Trash was over flowing from all trash cans, all the tables were dirty, drink machine was out of most flavored, food was cold and NOT good at all! We wasted $ 31.00 that night that I could have spent at a good sit down restaurant instead.

We really really like Javi’s! Good food for the price! My recommendation for this location would be more seating — larger groups come in and steel chairs from other tables leaving some tables with no chairs. Also, for us gringos, labeling the salsas & sauces would be helpful. Other than those suggestions — nothing but good things to say! Yum!!!

Miniscule over-priced portions of greasy nasty bad food sums it up just fine. I shall NEVER return. I don’t understand why all the hype … a real ripoff. $ 2 for HONESTLY no more than half an ounce of dry, unseasoned shreds of ‘pork’ on a couple of mini corn tortillas is shameful. At that rate they’re making over $ 62/pound off pork shoulder. Shameful.

Great Food! We had the California Burrito and the Carne Asada Tacos. They were both delicious. The burrito had the perfect balance of Carne Asada, Beans, Fries and Avocado. We also like their crunch ice.

I am in agreement with another reviewer that the food is surprisingly good for its locations/set up in a shopping center. It is located in the Packwood Creek shopping center, right next to some big chains like Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera, Chili’s as well as Chipotle. On my first visit I was really craving tacos and so I used that to search in my app and this place popped up. I had remembered they have an alternate location downtown, but this one was closest to me at the time. The food as well as the rating looked like it was worth giving it a try. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit difficult since it is in this large shopping center and it is often times busy. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see how big the place is inside. It is a rather large set up with many tables, as well as booth type seating along the wall. There are even a couple of high top tables. After seeing a few pictures of the food, I decided to get the # 5 Taquitos combo, that comes with 3 taquitos, rice, beans and a drink for $ 7.19. I also got a FREE kids meal, because kids eat for free on Monday’s with the purchase of an adult entrée. When kids eat free on Monday, you get to pick any kids meal off of the menu… so I chose the # 1, two tacos and went with the carne asada for my meat option. When I was ordering my taquitos I had asked if I could choose my meat, but was told that I could not… bummer. The taquitos here come standard with chicken. I will get to my review on those in a minute. The tacos however, you can choose your meat… and they come in I believe 10 different varieties. Your standard carne asada, ground beef, lengua, chicken, tripas, shredded beef, carnitas etc. I forgot the rest but you get the diea, they give you a lot of options. My food came out within a few minutes, not a long wait as I was one of the only ones there since it wasn’t a lunch or dinner rush. I was so excited to start eating my taquitos, but I was so disappointed when I took my first bite. These taquitos are horrible, these are your garden variety El Monterey frozen taquitos that were tossed in the deep fryer… and that is no lie(see my pics). I did not even finish the food, after eating the rest of my meal and enjoying it… it is beyond me why they choose to use frozen taquitos. Now, when the tacos come out they aren’t dressed… they are served plain. They are served plain because here at Javi’s they have an awesome salsa bar, where you can be as liberal as you want with your toppings. They have limes, radishes, jalapenos, cabbage, cilantro, onions, pico de gallo and the list goes on. Sprinkle a little bit of everything on that baby. The best part about these tacos are they are only $ 1.50EACH!!! I thought they were so good that after I ate what I had, that I ordered 2 more. I have even been back since that visit cause I was craving their tacos. I haven’t ordered anything but the carne asada, so I cant speak to other meats… maybe my next visit. The service on my first visit was super sucky. The girl there was like whatever and couldn’t have cared less that I was there. Even when I ordered my plate, I didn’t know that you could get whole beans rather than refried… I didn’t know it was even an option and she didn’t volunteer it. The whole/pinto beans were waaaaay better than the refried ones. The service on my next visit though was kick ass and they went out of their way to make sure my order was just right, and they were awesome with other customers… even going out of their way to help a disabled customer and their family. At one point the drink machine went out, and they fixed it right away. Gooooood food, super cheap prices on the tacos… just avoid the taquitos!!! Also when you purchase a drink, you can get soda, lemonade or horchata, it is not an extra charge like at some places. If you do not want a fountain soda, they do have bottled drinks.

Much better than expected. Always ignored this place because we were always heading into buffalo ww. Guy at register friendly, restaurant clean, and salsa bar was good. Had never had a wet relleno and it’s my new fave thing. Beans were undersalted but that easy to fix versus oversalting. Didn’t see any of the problems that I read in other reviews. If they continue this, I will go there every other trip versus giving all my business to buffalo ww. Good job guys.

Don’t even waste your time or your money. This is Mexican gone wrong and in California, that’s hard to do. The prices do not match the quality. I won’t be coming back.

Checked it, didn’t help that they closed in 20 minutes so I am sure that they wanted to go but none the less should have got my order right. Price was good but can get better Mexican food at a taco truck!

My wife and I come here often. She has the#3 wet chili Verde burrito, every time with honey mustard and ranch. Weird I know, but she loves it. I like just about every item on the menu.

Found this place on accident while looking for breakfast. When I first walked In did not expect too much as you Look around they have flat screens on every wall nice to come hang out n watch some sports. They had different channels playing for everyone’s taste. Food is good. I would have liked more variety on menu. If you’re looking for a inexpensive, quick service, cheap price and nice atmosphere then this place is gonna satisfy. I really liked it. Oh I almost forgot. My kids got kids meal $ 4.99 each and on Mondays they eat free. Looks like we r gonna start making this place our kitchen.

Food is really good. friendly costumer service and good prices. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they say they delivered but twice I put in an order and ended up having to go pick it up because they were not delivering at the time

Surprisingly good for mall complex quasi restaurant. The pork tamale had good tasting masa and could use more mole. Side order of beans was slight dry for GF taste. My suprema wet carne asada burrito actually have flavors and enough filler of rice and beans with avocado to make me want to eat another bite. The bar has chile verde sauce with enough bite to be worthy of refills. Place serves many variety of beer(happy hour $ 2.50 beer ends at 6 pm) . It’s not as a gringo tasting establishment as I originally thought. I actually like this place. The person who said Taco Bell tastes better haven’t a clue

I really like this little place because of the amount of food that you get for the price. The burritos are really big and amazingly delicious(especially the California burrito… it comes with fries in it!). The 6″ tacos are good and I love how the place looks on the inside — always super clean! Their chips are probably the best I have had from a Mexican restaurant before and their breakfast burritos? AMAZING! I come here at least once a week and I am never disappointed. Be sure to pick up a discount card at the register — you can get a free burrito if you visit this place enough!

Dry, dry, dry! Lacks flavor. This place is a waste of your money. Go to Vallarta, but some carne asada, and make your own tacos. Believe me, you don’t want to waste your money.
