Sooooo good! Love the small bistro vibe. Service was great. Food was not too garlicky– fresh fish was amazing! Will definitely go again.

Great lunch find! The three of us had the free«check-in» pita and hummus, a falafel plate, lamb burger & teriyaki chicken sandwich, lilikoi mojito and a couple of beers. Service was friendly and fast. All of the dishes were well prepared and delicious. All for just under $ 60. We will be going back for dinner!

Have been here several times for both lunch and for dinner. Delicious food every time! Especially the lamb, salads, and the fresh pita slices are always tasty! I live close and treat myself to their food once a month or so. The service could be better though which is the reason for 4 stars. Seems like the servers always have too many tables(or other side work going on) which results in barely getting to see them after you place your order unless it’s to see if you want dessert or your bill. And you can tell they’re stressed out so always seem bothered with answering questions about the menu. Perhaps less tables per server would result in better service, bigger tips, and therefore happier employees and customers? Just a thought.

I wanted to like this place; I really did. Every dish smelled absolutely amazing coming out of the kitchen. Unfortunately, we have to eat with more than just our eyes and olfactory. Pita and hummus… meh. Pita was stale and mushy at the same time… not sure how you do that unless you’re thawing frozen pita(shame on you if that’s the case). Hummus was sabraesque. My wife loves a good deal(free with check-in) and she was still not impressed. Next up was the owner’s catch of the day and the Mediterranean version of the«tour of Italy» at Olive Garden. The fish was bland outside of the sauce(which was excellent). The tour was decent, but the texture got a little… strange in the lasagna. What absolutely destroyed this place for me was the baklava or whatever pig they put lipstick on and called baklava for the night. I get trying to be cute and«new,» but why’d you ruin such a classic dessert? Way too much cinnamon(or whatever spice it was; it was so overpowering, it was hard to pinpoint), terrible consistency(needed brute strength and Excalibur to cut through), and some kind of weird cracker(def not filo) for the middle layers. It was truly appalling. Average bottled beer selection(don’t believe they have anything on tap). Overall, wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

Free check in app Hummus was just ok. Not creamy. Had to squeeze lemon on it. The entrees were delicious. I ordered the fish of the day and it was fresh! My husband ordered the Greek platter and it was fabulous! So good! Service was like everyone said not attentive but it’s not that bad. I’ve had worse service. WARNING: baklava is NOT legit. Supposed to have phyllo dough in between layers instead it was some white cracker like substance and had a lot of cinnamon. Why!!!

This place has always been a favorite of mine until I called and ordered pickup. When I called for a Greek salad that my buddy was going to pickup for me they gave him 2 appetizer salads. When he gets back to my place I called Pita Paradise. Situla tells me that she told me the price. Yes, you told me the price and it sounded low so I ordered two. Question: Do you HAVE a Greek salad ENTREE? Oh you do?! Wow! Did you ever think that no one would ever call your restaurant just to order a side salad? Oh really, tons of people order the side salad for pick up? Ok Situla have you ever heard of upselling the menu. It is basic training at McDonalds. Speaking of McDonalds I couldnt even walk into McDonalds and order a salad with out getting offered something else. So, there are only 2 answers A. A shitload of side salads fly out of Pita Paradise for pick up everyday OR B. You don’t know what your doing. Pita Paradise is a great place. The owners are beautiful people. Just dont try to get their entrée salad from Situla

To preface, we came in a day prior to the evening we actually dined here only to find out we should’ve made reservations, as there was an hour and half wait. We figured«it must be good» so we set reservations right then. We started our meal with the hummus and pitas which got us more than excited for the rest of the meal. As for our entres, my wife and I split the chicken kabobs and the veggie delight, which was a brilliant choice! Everything was SO flavorful. They don’t skimp on the amount of pitas they gave us with our meal, which was very generous because they are divine(soft with a great seasoning). Michael was our server and he did a great job! Ambiance and décor was consistent with the food, wonderful. Overall, we had a great experience. I feel confident in saying that you won’t be pissed if you decide to eat here :).

Average Mediterranean fare. Very Americanized. We came here for happy hour and ordered four dishes to share. Chicken souvlaki, Greek mini burger, mushrooms, and lamb pizza. The mini burger was my favorite thing. It was pretty good. The pizza ok. The mushrooms were very flavorful. Souvlaki was very average. I ordered a margarita and it was terrible. It tasted like sugar water. Our waitress was very nice and the service was fast. Side note, in order to get free hummus with Unilocal check-in, you have to order two regular entrees.

I give this 4.5 stars So my Greek Friend and his wife visiting from Kauai tell me this is the best legitimate Greek restaurant they have found in Maui. I am not crazy about going so I don’t. Finally when they visited they insist and I go for lunch. WOW great food and it is DELICIOUS! We have a bit of everything that includes the original greek salad, lamb souvlaki and finishing with the traditional baklava and their ice cream baklava that is absolutely fantastic.

I can recommend this place as a bar and a restaurant. Because we didn’t have a reservation and wanted to sit outside we asked if we can have a drink at the bar instead of waiting outside. The bartender was super nice and we could try different wines before ordering a glass(very good price for a huge glass of wine). Because there wasn’t a whiskey based drink on the menu we asked for a recommendation and she instantly recommended a rye based drink with chocolate bitters. The food was good, the fish special of the day was very fresh and the different flavors were very tasty. My chicken was overcooked and very dry but since we ordered the ziziki bread as an appetizer, I was already pretty fool anyway.

Loved this place… great service, food & drinks! The food was excellent and the drinks were unique and pretty amazing. The strawberry one with a basil leaf was probably one of the best concoctions I’ve ever had. Also, their baklava ice cream cake was super yummy and I don’t even like ice cream cake and didn’t think I even had room for dessert yet we polished off the entire thing. Dante(the bartender/server) does her job extremely well… she was welcoming, friendly, fast and super on top of it.

We stopped into Pita Paradise late one afternoon to grab a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was really dead probably due to the timing of things. The hostesses were really friendly and seated us at a high top at the bar to partake in their happy hour. We started with drinks, they have a special on local beers during happy hour so my husband got that and I got the MAKENASUNSET(Seagram’s Vodka, Ginger Ale & Passion Fruit Juice). I normally do not care for vodka cocktails but I was swayed by the passion fruit juice and ginger ale and it was delicious! While we decided what else we wanted to eat we got some ZIZIKIBREAD to start. It was deliciously cheesy flat bread and was a nice little starter. We decided to get a fresh fish SOUVLAKI and a Kalua Pork & Pineapple PITAPITZA. We knew the pizza would be the same size as the bread because they are made from the same base but we were really quite disappointed with the portions on the fish Souvlaki, $ 10 for a measly piece of fish is not my idea of a happy hour. Our server was so excellent she kind of left us alone to talk and knew when to stop by. She had a great energy and was very attentive. We were kind of turned off by the whole fish thing so we decided to move to another restaurant after that. Overall everything was great and we would definitely come back even for dinner when the place is a little more hopping, but now we know don’t get the fish souvlaki.

One of, if any, the best Greek, Mediterranean food on Maui. I’ve been for lunch and have tried their sandwiches and salads. Delicious! I love the Australian lamb, which is the American Greek salad with lamb!(You can pair the salad with chicken instead or without any protein) This dish has romaine topped with onions, diced tomatoes, cucumbers and the ziziki sauce… and of course the tender lamb! Seasoned so well, but a bit over drowned in the sauce. But still so yummy. Check-in and receive your choice of either pita and hummus OR ziziki bread. Save room for dessert! To be exact, get the Baklava ice cream cake. Vanilla bean with some nuts, topped with honey and cinnamon. I wanted to have more, but I stuffed myself by then. Servers are sweet, just a little tough to get their attention. But, the other servers were just as helpful in assisting your needs. The ambiance, you can sit inside or out. Both are really nice, honestly depends on the weather. Be advise that the prices are $ 10 – 20, easy $ 15 – 20 for a plate. All for good food tho!

It’s my first trip to Hawaii so naturally I had to start by trying the local seafood. A relative who lives in the area recommended Pita Paradise because the fish on special is always something that the owner has caught within the last day or two. We went in yesterday and the special was Shortbill Spearfish(Hebi) which I had never heard of but was definitely ready to try. They didn’t offer the Hebi as an entrée, but we could have it as either a salad, skewer, or sandwich. I ordered it in skewer form and was not disappointed. The fish was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I’m not sure I’m ready yet to say the seafood in Hawaii is better than the seafood in New England, but the Hebi definitely did not hurt their argument. The skewers came with rice and and pita bread which were both very good. I also ordered a mango iced tea which came unsweetened but the sweetness from the mango was enough that it didn’t need any additional sugar. Overall, this was a great find that is within walking distance of the hotel. It wasn’t overpriced like a lot of the Maui restaurants are, so I would love to return here again.

Nov 2015 dinner Excellent service. Nice menu selection. Sauteed mushroom starter was really good. They offered 2 specials of the day and ordered both. 1) Rack of lamb was excellent($ 32) 2) Fish special also was excellent($ 30) Their baklava ice cream«cake» was great as well(very very sweet). Hibiscus margarita as well as the hibiscus(non alcoholic) cooler were both very nice and their wine prices weren’t crazy like a number of restaurants in the Wailea Maui area.

Greek food in Maui? Yep it is true. And it is good. This nondescript location was a great find. The interior is quaint and tastefully decorated. They have a small bar that offers a decent selection of libations. I had a lamb kabob entrée and it was delicious. It was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is a lot of meat. The pita was light and airy. The sauce was a great compliment to the lamb. I also had a fantastic stuffed grape leaf dish. The perfect amount of acid and sweet. Give them a try for a inexpensive meal. It is a local spot so you will not be way overcharged.

Had a great lunch here while in Wailea. Everything is so fresh and the owner himself goes out fishing each morning. We were greeted immediately upon arriving and had a choice of where to sit. Water was brought out quickly while we looked at the menu. The prices here are very reasonable for a Wailea restaurant. We both decided on the Greek burger which is a ground lamb burger on pita bread with melted feta cheese, lettuce, tomato and thin slivers of onions. It was also served with potatoes. It was delicious and at $ 13 a good value for lunch. We had the baklava ice cream cake for dessert and although it was on the small side for $ 9 it was really good. Two layers of baklava in vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey. Pita paradise is located in the Wailea gateway center right across from Monkeypod. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for free ziziki bread or hummus and pita!

We were recommended to come here from Maui Nui(sp?) the golf course. A bartender there recommended we come here some we did. Off the bat, the greeter outside was incredibly personable. Always a good sign when people act like they enjoy their job and happy to see new faces. We were seated right away. The establishment is small but intimate. Very nice atmosphere. Our server was not so pleasant but definitely efficient. He paid attention to our needs and drinks, he was definitely good at his job without the pleasantness. Lol. I ordered a kettle one lemon drop martini which was delicious. We also got the tar tar as an appetizer and from Unilocal we got a free ziki bread which was also delicious. Food came out hot and quick. Our main entrees were to follow and definitely good portion sizes and the food was delicious. Quick, tasty, and hot. Ok, so I’m not always in the mood for Greek-Italian place but I can definitely say this place made the top 5’of my places to eat in Maui. Pricing is decent. Maybe a little pricy but definitely worth the value for the portion and flavor of the food. I am sure we will eat here again and you should too. :)

Really nice restaurant that needs a name change. The restaurant name seemed to us to imply casual but it is more than casual and the food is very good. We ate dinner here once while staying in Wailea and everything was very good. This restaurant would never make it in Chicago Greek Town but it was a nice vacation alternative.
