Oh such a sad turn. We came several years ago and truly thought it was the best Italian food we had ever eaten. We ate there for dinner this week and the Caesar salad was all cheese and no flavor. The Bolognese was a pink cream sauce. No meat and no flavor. The manager was clueless about the history of the place. I have sent so many people to manolis over the years. We are sad it has gone downhill. I will not be sending people there again.

Super nice staff, great open space, amazing view of the golf course. Food was good, I got the pesto penne pasta. We also went at happy hour and pizza by the slice was just $ 2.50, kids get unlimited pizza or pasta too! They deliver as well! Great place to stop. I just wish the pizza sauce wasn’t so sweet.

We had been here prior to this visit and had a great meal and service. This time the service was not even close to our last visit. The server put all our food in at the same time and our pizzas came out before our app and salads. We asked them to make us new pizzas so when we were ready for them they would be fresh. Nope, they just gave us the same pizzas and tried to play it off as if they were fresh. Tried to pull a fast one on a New Haven, Ct pizza guru.

Really only doing the review to vent. I’ve lived on the southside for 25 years, in the service industry and when friends were staying at the Grand Wailea and asked us where there is a good nearby happy hour, of course we told them… Manoli’s. It’s our«go-to» place… ever since Wailea Steak House, the Chart House, etc. We’ve been there so many times, we know the waitstaff, we know the bartenders, we know the food and Trish served us for well over an hour… five of us and then the new bartender came on duty, the tall dark-haired one… I don’t even know her name as she’s only been our bartender a few times, I think she’s the only one that I don’t know, but immediately she cut us off and we were all shocked. When asked why, the only explanation we got was that we were«too rowdy». «Too rowdy»? I asked… I asked Trish if this was for real and what was going on and she said she did not know, that the new person came on and it was her call and she looked at the bill and saw that one of the persons that had three Jamison’s on the rocks and it was her call to cut us off. She apologized over an over and said she did not have a clue and that she did not rank” to say anything g and stand up. I’m thinking, oh my goodness, this is ridiculous… she didn’t even say anything to us or talk to us or knew nothing. We’d been there for over an hour… HADSOMUCHFOOD… and all of us were completely fine!!! Sadly, we took our business to another establishment… Pita Paradise… Where they served us… happily…at the bar… and no questions asked. I still am in awe of how she can justify cutting five people off when all of us were only enjoying ourselves. Two of us out of five had only had two cocktails, one of us had three beers, one of us had three glasses of wine and one of us had three Jamison’s on the rocks… still, without even talking to us or looking at us or anything she just decided to «cut us off» by looking at the bill? I do not get it. My first time in my life ever being cut off at a bar and it was not only humiliating but we are still dumbfounded as to where her head was lodged. Sadly, we will not be turning people into Manoli’s. We have turned many people on there but now, Even after golf, we will tell people to go to Monkeypod or Longhis. We’ve heard so many Maui people trash this place and we’ve ALWAYS had its back and have kept sending people their way… until now. It made for a wonderful time with friends turn into a huge disappointment… something we will never forget. Huge bummer, not to mention very weird. We are all still shocked.

I’m not a pizza snob, but sadly their pizza was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The crust lacked flavor and was overdone so it was cracker-like. The toppings(meatballs and sundried tomatoes) should have been almost too flavorful but somehow managed not have any flavor at all. This opinion is completely outside of the stomach issues the pizza caused me later that evening. All in all, this was not a win for Manoli’s.

We really like this place. The prices are reasonable, The food is good, the service is friendly. It’s a great place to pick up food to take home or back to the resort for a casual and inexpensive meal.

Staying at the Grand Wailea; my wife and I were looking for an affordable place to eat. Manoli’s was within walking distance and we decided to give it a shot. 30 minutes later — we were beyond impressed. The food was great: a mix between bar food and a classic restaurant. The environment was great: quiet music and an open balcony facing a beautiful golf course. Lastly, the service was great: Robin and Adrian took care of our every need. They were very personable and really seemed to care about making our experience special. The bill for two people without drinks came to $ 30. Very cheap considering the area. We will definitely be back!

The spinach cranberry walnut salad with the goat cheese balsamic vinaigrette dressing was literally one the best salads I’ve ever had. The Hawaiian BBQ wings are good too, coming from a guy pretty picky about his wings. The«Manoli’s Fave» pizza(substituting fresh Roman tomatoes for their usual sun dried) was amazing! Even my two picky-eater children loved it! The crust is light and flaky, and the«meatballs» are delicious! It was worth the drive. The view is nice too. The way they price their«aal you can eat» children’s menu is ingenious. 0.99 plus your child’s age. Makes sense, and as a parent of four kids, I appreciated this.

I know it’s Hawaii and I should expect things to be expensive. But it’s also nice to know what you’re getting. When I ordered a large pizza I expected something more than a 12 inch pizza for 21ish bucks. Plus it’s just not very good pizza. Tastes like pasta sauce on frozen thin crust.

The night before we left Maui we were told that Manolis Pizza Company had the best burgers… It was up the street from The Marriott where we were staying and since we made every evening a culinary feast we said before we began our post vacation diet we would have one last blow out before leaving for the airport. Very Happy we did! It was on a golf course and we soaked up the last of the Maui sunshine and had a great Kobe burger and my husband had a Kobe Beef Foot long Hot Dog which he scarfed down. They had hand cut fries and there were little onion strings on my burger. The waitress was fabulous! Oh, and we had desert– fees baked cookie in a tin, vanilla ice-cream wit Oreo Crumbles on top. Need I say more? Can’t wait to go back!

This was one of the worst meals I have had in quite some time. I ordered lasagne and my Mom had the penne pesto pasta. She described her meal as beef-a-roni while I described mine as school lunch. It was absolutely gross. Mushy, tasteless. I am embarrassed for this establishment. Ok, I am editing my review because I just read a bunch of the other reviews, seriously, this food is not good do not eat here. My lasagne was a massive pile of overdone tasteless pasta covered with like an inch of cheese. Side of garlic bread was a tasteless croûton.

I was very unhappy with the service. The food was fine but I was really angry that we had to wait for 10 minutes in a mostly empty place for the waiter to run the bill because he and the bartender couldn’t figure out how to run the gift card and then charge us the remainder. We specifically went to watch the playoff game and was trying to leave at halftime to pick up the rest at the airport. It might have been 15 minutes, I have never ever seen anything like this in my life. We still tipped him because we are nice people but will never go back. Update week later– I should have said that the service was very good up until the end, when I got so mad– because he was great until the very end when it fell apart. But the worst part now is that I checked my credit card and they actually charged me 20 extra dollars. Instead of taking 20 off the bill, they put a separate extra charge for $ 20 in addition to the charge we signed for. I’ll be calling them and my credit card company — they never did get it right!!! Unbelievable!!! We only tried them because we were given a gift card. If they make this right I will gladly soften my review because I saw the owner responded to my first one and seems genuinely concerned.

We stayed at Marriott resort. We ate everywhere and every fish. We wanted pizza. We walked across the street not expecting too much. We were surprised. Pizza was so good we came back the next night. No jokes please. We don’t usually do this. We had the Trainers Special Pizza. Pizza crust was excellent. Chicken was organic. The pizza was plenty for two maybe three people. I recommend it highly. Second best part was price. $ 23 for a great 14 inch pizza full of toppings. People waiting on us were nice and on the spot. If this place was around the block from me I’d be here weekly.

Stopped in after work for some relaxation drinks. We had MaiTais a Chocolate Delight and a Mango Daquirre, for pupus we had the Truffle Fries and the Meatball Slider. Everything was really good and our bartender Anthony was super nice and helpful. I look forward to going there again maybe for a meal next time.

This is really strange. So we order a LOT from Manolis but today they told me to call back after 5pm for delivery. It must be nice to have a business that can turn away business this way. Processwise, they could’ve taken our order, then asked us to call after 5pm to confirm the order for delivery. This makes it so that they capture the business but still put it on the customer to be responsible and call back. But to say sorry can’t take your order… Bad for business but I guess, hey have enough. On the other hand they have good food and the owners are really nice… Whoever picked up the phone today 2015.10.212:30 pm was NOT in a good mood… Hope the day gets better for him…

Happy hours are twice daily from 3 – 6 and again from 9-midnight and in my opinion that is really the only time to visit Manoli’s. Get a slice and cocktail and be happy campers.

We drove by this plenty of times… finally decided to stop by because my dad was in the mood for pizza. We were greeted friendly and right away when we arrived. Was not too crowded tonight so we were seated outside. Had it been during the day, we would have an excellent view outside. Our server was incredibly personable and in good spirits which was nice. She was very attentive and professional. Food and drinks came out quickly and the food was hot and tasty. My husbands food did not come out so fast, and when I reminded her, she said«oh my gosh,» and then said without hesitation that his meal was on the house. Although we were not looking for a free meal, it was a very nice gesture and really shows they look out for their customers. Long story short, good drinks, good food, good service… in the mood for pizza? This is a good spot. :)

Updated and upgraded to five stars. The shrimp scampi is delicious AND the pizza when delivered to your home comes really hot with the crust just right(not soggy)

Let me start off by first saying the food was 5-stars! I sadly give this place 2-stars for the service. Everyone was great, besides our server. If you have an option, DONOT sit in Dana’s section, unless you are with an all-guys group. She will not pay attention to you, make eye-contact or any genuine conversation besides making fun of how young you are on your I.D. Do let me say that the host and food runners were fantastic, without them this would have been a terrible dinner. With them, we had timely food and drink service with a nice sunset view, but they definitely did all the work for Dana. Perhaps this was an off-day for our server, I sure hope so, but I won’t be back to chance it.

I love having happy hour up on the hill in Waliea. The lush green golf courses, refreshing breezes and distant ocean views create a fun spot for drinks and pupus. Monkey-Pod and their craft cocktails had been my go-to, but Manoli’s tasty food and prices are starting to win me over. Maui Brew Co. on tap, decent Mai Tai’s that packed a punch, slices of tasty pizza and garlic-truffle-fries. YES this is a pleasant place to relax and have Happy Hour. Having two Happy Hours is the hip new thing in Kihei … Manoli’s is on board!
