Came here with a big party of people around 1 on a Thursday We were suppose to have a room with a long table but they gave it to another party. We ended up sitting In 3 different tables across from one another, Not very good for conversations. The waiter came and took our drink order quickly and then shortly took our order. I got a clam chowder soup and the fettuccini chicken Alfredo, my husband got breakfast, biscuits and gravy. My pasta was ok, 6 out of 10. It was pretty bland. They are definitely a lot better at breakfast. My husbands biscuits and gravy was delicious. The biscuits were super soft and the gravy was good. Their hash browns were cut thick and were crunchy on the outside. Over all ok food and ok service. I don’t know if I would go back.

My friends and I finished running a 5k and went to 3 different places for brunch. All were 40m — 1 hour wait. This was our 4th stop, and we got in right away. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and food was good. They even had mimosas too which was a pleasant surprise and is exactly what we wanted to celebrate. Will definitely be making this a regular!

We came to Smiths based on Google Maps thinking it is still Elmer’s. We would have never tried it based on these reviews. The food was fine and Heather is a good and friendly waitress. It looks like the bad reviews were more in the past. Anyway we will be back next time we are in Walla Walla.

Made reservations for 20 for the morning after a wedding. Got here and the extremely rude «manager» at the front told us they don’t take reservations on Sunday mornings dispite the fact out name was written down right there on the reservation list! Horrible lady threatened to call the police on my aunt for asking how long it would be for the tables to be open. When we made the reservations they told us they had a reservation for 30 a half hour before us and that they could seat us next to them in the sun room. Guess who got to eat with their family? They even double checked with a manager to make sure it would be ok! Grrr…
We were here for a wedding last year and made the exact same reservations with no issue. I will NEVER come here again! How can you say you don’t take reservations when our name and the name of the other party for 30 were right there?

This is a good place for breakfast. I’ve not eaten here any other time. Wait staff is through and friendly. Coffee cup was always full. The food is good. Only down side here is the poached eggs are a bit watery. Other than that we ate here twice in three days.

Not sure about the other bad reviews but both times we went was great. Our waitresses were friendly, nice, and checked up on us. Food was great and good portion. The only negative is the food seemed to take awhile. Breakfast is by far the best meals they have!

I just had dinner here and I’d rather forget about it. The waitress was loud and had other priorities rather than taking care of her tables. She didn’t check on whether or not the food was done properly, which it wasn’t and I commented to another server that the salad served with the dinner was laughable. Some lettuce and dressing, nothing else… really?
When I told the server who picked up my salad plate (and not the waitress) she offered me the salad bar with all the things the salad was missing for an extra $ 4.99. I told her no thanks.
The filet mignon special was undercooked. I’ve never seen a perfectly circular filet mignon… but I have now! The bacon was also undercooked.

Service was alright. However the food is downright terrible. They taste and look like they are from freezer meals you can get from your local grocery store. you’ll be better off just doing that yourself than paying higher prices at this restaurant for the same thing

I thought the food was good but I wasn’t too impressed with the service and didn’t appreciate my server dropping the bill on the table along with my food, the service started off good but once I got my food was when the service started to decline, it is however worth going there for the $.99 drinks
My advice to the owners and the staff is please don’t have your staff drop the bill along with the food.

Her salad (mediocre), my beef barley soup (from a can)
Her fettuccine was greasy and she barely ate any. My meatloaf/​gravy/​potatoes (recommended by server) was gray, dry, tasted different/​potatoes OK, covered w/​dark brown gravy. I ate one piece and just didn;t want more.
We both tasted & re-​tasted meal, after leaving restaurant — she headed for Walgreens and bought TUMS. I acted tough (stupid) vomiting started later along with the inevitable «other» exodus within 2 hours, that lasted to this day — –hard to sue or even call from Los Angeles, 3 days later — — this is a warning — — — — — — — —

Great breakfast. I had the homemade corned beef hash. My husband had the chicken fried steak. Both dishes were excellent.

A great family restraunt with a wide menu to suit a family’s tastes. We’ve made it a habit to dine here when in town; the food is very satisfying and the service is great. We have dined here multiple times and have never experienced the incidents described in the negative reviews.

I’d never go again. People I was with liked the salad and soup bar. The stir fry was drenched in a super sweet teriyaki sauce. The wait staff were personable and helpful.

We were traveling thru Walla Walla and ate dinner here. When we ordered a full size steak to split, our server, Chelsea, informed us that they had a special on a smaller steak that evening. We hadn’t noticed the apecial and appreciated her advice. The beef barley soup was very tasty. Our server brought our steaks and indicated that she thought they might be overlooked and that she had asked the cooks to prepare new ones for us. The steaks were well done instead of medium, but had a good flavor so we declined her offer to cook additional ones.
The restaurant was clean. Our server was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.

The food was gnarly. Lots of steaks and seafood on the menu. I wasn’t going to take that chance. I ordered a BBQ sandwich. It was nasty. Maybe out of a box? Fake meat?
The Facebook page for the place makes it sound like people like this place, so maybe I’d give it another try?
The service was pretty good, nice.
