Mo’s is my go-to place for comfort food. I’m sure Mo’s has a lot of good stuff on the menu, but I’m boring. I love the cheeseburger shalaylees with cheese fries. Yum! I’ve had salads and pot pie and grilled cheese, but I always come back to my standard faves. Did I mention Mo’s has Grey Goose Pear? It’s a hard to find flavor and it makes for a tasty smooth tasting vodka tonic to go with my awesome, but not-at-all healthy meal of appetizers. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of day because Mo’s is on the corner of Highway 100 and Bluemound. Service is hit or miss. That being said, there’s almost always a game on TV or live music at Mo’s. I think Mo’s is the perfect place for a two martini(I mean vodka tonic) lunch and tasty apps with a good friend or sig other.

Great atmosphere. I love the fire place surrounding the book area towards the far back side of the restaurant. Food was good as well as the appetizers but a bit pricey in my opinion. Love the selection of drinks. Came here once after work with two of my coworkers for some drinks & live music and definitely had a good time, and again on a separate occasion to try the food. All in all, nice place for a burger & beer. 4 stars.

I like going to pubs and restaurants that actually look like an actual Irish pub. It reminds me of the summer I spent in Ireland. The walls are covered in old pictures of pubs from all over Ireland and people sitting in the pubs. Everyone at my table was jealous of what I ordered. I had the chicken and shrimp boxty which is wrapped in a potato pancake covered in melted cheese and a Guinness barbecue sauce. It was kind of a sweet and spicy Irish burrito. That was followed by a cookie dessert with vanilla ice cream. A simple desert, but would be a fool to turn that down.

Not my favorite bar, but I don’t hate it. They have decent food, but the place is a little pricey, in my opinion. It’s often quite crowded, so maybe that’s another reason I tend to avoid it on weekends. Full bloody mary review at .

The place packs em’ in! Weekday or weekends, it doesn’t matter. Weekend night usually include live music in the larger dining area. Mo’s is a very popular go to location with an inviting ambiance & a cool Irish vibe. Plenty of outdoor patio space to serve you during the warmer months & lots of televisions indoors for game day. Beautiful massive fireplace in the larger indoor dining area The beer menu is plentiful with everything one could want. Food has been pretty good too. I’ve had a bunch of different dishes here, but I really like the Fish & Chips, Cod battered in Harp beer. The fish is so tender & the batter is full of flavor with a nice crunch. The Fried pickles are awesome too. They taste & look like they are battered in-house & not brought in frozen. That’s a big plus. Give the Dublin Samper Platter a whirl featuring a plethora of Mo’s best appetizers. Recently, I tried the grilled cheese & tomato soup. It was really good, with three cheeses, bacon & avocado on sourdough. Perfectly browned in butter, but not at all greasy. Best gilled cheese I’ve ever experienced. Two parking lots to serve you. The first is on the North end of the lot at fairly decent size & the 2’nd larger lot directly West across the street. Great happy hour from 3 – 6PM with $ 5 buck appetizers & $ 3.75 cocktails Open on New Years Day!

I’ve been to Mo’s many times. I’ve yet to have a bad experience. It does get loud during sporting event. They do have a smaller more private dinning area. In their larger dinning area they have a natural fireplace, that they use in the winter months. My favorite appetizer is their cheeseburger shalaylees. It is ground beef, cheese, sour cream stuffed inside a wonton wrapper. The wait staff here has always been on point, even during their busy time. I can’t wait to come back here.

The traffic and parking at this place is insane. On a Thursday night the place was jamming and I couldn’t understand all of the hype. There isn’t much around the area that is similar so scarcity could be the draw. The atmosphere is authentic and is inviting especially on a fall day. Mo’s has fireplaces and it is just damn cozy! The food is slightly Americanized Irish with the typical corned beef and potato dish. I had the corned beef sandwich and it was above average. The group had the appetizers platter and some boneless wings. The wings packed a nice kick but had a little too much vinegar Buffalo taste(note…I am a vinegar hater). I wouldn’t go out of my way to hit Mo’s but it is a good stop if you want above average bar food. The beer and booze selection isn’t incredibly extensive but will serve your needs. If you live in the area this could quickly become your local watering hole.

What is everyone complaining about? Good food. Good service. That’s all there is to it.

I love this place… i just read a bunch of awful reviews and that’s a shame. The food is good, i have never had bad service… hey if you want to have your butt licked, go to a bartolattas establishment… it is what it is, and it is good.

Great patio on a nice day, $ 5 apps, and drink specials from 3 – 6PM, what more can I say? All Full size appetizers excluding the nacho plate and sampler are included. Bacardi, Smirnoff, and captain cocktails for $ 3.75 and specials on wine and beer as well. Usually very good service and great atmosphere. Does tend to get a little loud but a fabulous place to come for some after work drinks!

Trivia Tuesday bright my friend and I here. Added bonus to the trivia night was representatives from summerfest and free tickets/gear! Those were the only things we won that night. Place was just A-OK. Fairly good beer selections, and our food was decent. I’m not dying to go back, and I wouldn’t say no to going back.

Absolutely do not eat here if you have gluten intolerance or celiacs. Asked the waitress if my brother’s dish had gluten in it and explicitly told her there should be no gluten. She said that there was none and it turns out that there was. My brother is horribly sick from the gluten and it flared up on him hours before his college graduation ceremony. If you’re going to reassure a customer that there is no gluten in something, you’d better make damn sure that there isn’t any. Allergies and intolerances really affect people’s lives and aren’t just a simple food preference.

Went here for none other than St. Pat’s Day, of course :) It was pretty busy, as expected. We were told it was gonna be 45 minutes wait on a table, so we grabbed a drink at the bar — but it only took about 20 minutes for us to get called for our table! Definite plus. They also had live music which was kinda cool. Our waiter was awesome — I wish I remembered his name. He was really friendly, in a good mood — and was even running around in a full on leprechaun outfit for some of the time(he even put it back on so my sister could get a picture with him in it) He was awesome. I also saw some green cocktail that wasn’t a green beer and he found out what it was for us — green shamrock, super yum!

$ 10 cover for St. Patty’s Day — no specials, weird/slow service, and an interesting U2 cover band. $ 5 for 8oz of some IPA. What. I have been here on a «regular» day and then too there’s nothing to rave about. It’s so average, it hurts. I would only come here if a group of friends insists on it but even then, I might have to lie about taking my imaginary pet dog to the imaginary vet for some imaginary vaccine shots. I like the fact that they have a parking lot and that the space is pretty big so there’s that.

My friend and I walked into the door before two white ladies. I’m smiling, talking to my Hispanic friend, and say hi to the two white hostesses who did not greet us when we walked in. Instead, they greeted the white ladies behind us first, and they paid no attention to us. So I stood there and stared at one of them, and she literally acted like I was not there. As I was looking at her face, she knew she was ignoring me and she knew what she was doing. I felt out of place and discriminated against because I was Asian and my friend was Hispanic. I could see in her eyes just the level of discrimination and blatant racism, and she knew she was servicing them before us, even though we walked in before them. «First come, first served,» right? It was definitely bad vibes as soon as we sat down. I understood that since we were going to an Irish place it would be predominantly white, but my god. I thought racism could chill for the moment cause my friend and I was having a good time catching up. My friend and I just wanted to chill, eat, and drink. Nobody has time for racism. We got our table, and the server is nice. Dude was chill, didn’t bother us and sorta checked up on us. Service wasn’t bad, but it could be cause we went before busy hour. The menu was honestly overpriced for what they had. I came to an Irish place to eat Irish food, and yet all they had was AMERICANFOOD– burgers, steaks, and just food you would find at Applebee’s. I honestly don’t know what Irish people eat, but that’s why I went to this place. If Irish people eat the same food as Americans, white people there is no variation in your foods at all lol. Overall, it was a bad experience. That racist shit just rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not going back there again. Hope this helps future goers and the business. Do you really want racist ass workers, or is that shit encouraged cause everyone in there is white?

I would like to share a recent experience my husband and I had at Mo’s Irish Pub in Wauwatosa on Sunday, January 25th. My husband received a $ 100 gift certificate from one of his clients to Mo’s Irish Pub. We planned our Sunday around having lunch at the Mo’s in Wauwatosa so we could put part of the gift certificate to use. We arrived around 12:30 and were seated promptly and right by the fire per our request. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and our food was great. It wasn’t until we went to pay the bill that an otherwise pleasant experience ended in disappointment. Our bill was $ 25 and some change. We gave our waitress the gift certificate along with cash for her tip. She said she’d be back she just needed to check with the manager about the gift certificate. She came back to our table a few minutes later and said she had some bad news. Apparently we were not allowed to use the gift certificate unless we used the entire amount. The waitress apologized and handed us the bill again and said maybe we can come back again with some friends to use the whole amount. Mind you, we were at lunch with our 4 ½ month old son and it’s a rare occasion that we can get out of the house. Not to mention we went out of way to have lunch there since it’s not close to our home. My husband and I aren’t ones to complain so we simply paid the bill with other means. However, looking back I wish I would’ve have asked to speak to the manager. I looked over the gift certificate when we got in the car and it does not specify anywhere that you must use the entire amount in one sitting. It’s extremely disappointing to be told that you cannot use a gift that was given to you and I’m sure the person who gifted it would be even more disappointed to hear about this experience. To us, it would appear that issuing a new gift certificate for the reduced amount after our bill had been removed from the $ 100 would have been relatively easy for the manager to do, and since he/she wouldn’t, the customer service for our experience seemed lacking. If this is a normal policy it would be wise to note on the gift certificate that the entire amount MUST be used at once. Also, in a situation like this, the proper thing would have been to have the manager come and speak with us not leave the server to do the dirty work.

I wish this place had better food because it is in such a good location and has a cool vibe, but I always leave feeling like«eh that was ok» Its not bad by any means. It just gets what Unilocal Descirbes a 3-star review as: A-ok.

I’ve been to Mo’s probably about a half dozen times, and I’ve always had good experiences. It really does look and feel like a real Irish pub. My husband and I got there around 11:30 am for an early lunch with friends. When we arrived, there were very few people there. We were able to be seated immediately.(As time went on, however, it definitely became more crowded. Especially with this being football season). The staff was very nice and welcoming. We started with an appetizer of their cheeseburger shalaylees. It is ground beef and American cheese with sour cream stuffed inside a wrap and served with Guinness barbecue sauce for dipping. I highly recommend it. For my meal, I had the Mama O’Malleys Homestyle Burger. Oh. My. God. This burger literally melts in your mouth. It is a never frozen Angus beef patty topped with a pat of butter and served on a butter bun. A fabulous burger, indeed. Talking about this burger is making me have a craving for it. I think I may have to make a return trip to Mo’s very soon.

Very busy lunch crowd. Their food is decent, not spectacular, but good enough. Service can be slow, simply because of the number of customers here. A good place for drinks after work and a nosh!

As we drove up to this place, I exclaimed«Holy crap. It’s Dan McGuiness!» For you Nashville folk, you know exactly what I mean. The signage, the décor, everything screams damn ol’ DanMcG. It’s a fairly large place in a stand alone building. We had no trouble finding parking, which is always a plus. I opted to try a local brew. Yeah, I know Milwaukee is like the beer capital and all, but have you heard of «Spotted Cow» Nashville Yeeps? I hadn’t. I rather liked it. Once the live band starting playing, I couldn’t hear a dern thing. But it sure did get a lot of folks up and boogying on the dance floor! With so many beers on draft, and plenty of space to move about, it’s easy to see why Wauwatosa residents like to hang at this bar.
