The food came exactly when promised and the food was hot. My main complaint is that the pizza I got with carmelized onions and hamburg was sweet? Not sure if it was the onions or the tomato sauce but something was off on this pizza. The jalapeño popper were neither good nor bad just eg. There was a deliver charge.

This business does not even deserve a 1 star. I ordered delivery and not only did they tell me it was going to be 35 – 45 minutes and it turned out to be over an hour and a half, but my order was completely wrong. I got nothing I ordered, I probably got someone else’s order. I contacted them asking for a refund, they refused and we’re not cooperative at all. I spent probably over $ 30 in food. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it and there was no way they were going to give me a refund. I am absolutely disgusted with this business as I live in Wellesley and I will not be coming back here, and will be telling all of my local friends in Wellesley to not go to Marks because they scam you. Super unprofessional pizza business! WRONG! I sincerely hope this company fixes there wrong. Bad customer service!

Definitely not worth the money it costs… Ordered the grilled veggie wrap and grape leaves, both were below par. Will not be ordering from here again. They also tried to blame me for giving the wrong address for delivery, luckily I had my order to prove them wrong.

I order their salads all the time because I work at HVMA in Wellesley. My FAVORITE salads are from Mark’s. Alway fresh and big portions. A must try is their Cobb salad! Delivery people are always very pleasant and punctual.

Ordered a sandwich for delivery which is less than 3 miles to our house. They have delivered before and have had no problems. Today An HOUR and 15 minutes later the delivery driver calls me 3 times explaining to come out into the road, he can’t find the house ect. So needless to say I never got my lunch.

In my opinion, it is the best pizza in town. The staff is very nice and helpful and the pizzas are larger than usual and delicious. Be sure to get steak fries !

I’m always trying to decide whether to order the Boneless Broasted Buffalo Tenders or the Steak Kabobs with teriyaki sauce-both are incredibly delicious! Service here is wonderful and I’m always greeted with a friendly smile. My order is always ready for pick up when promised as well as when delivered. My only complaint is that they only give 2 kabobs and for the price I feel that they should give 3, but when I’m sharing with one of kids, I will order an extra for about $ 2.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would, in a minute. While my experience was some time ago, I have not forgotten it. I worked in this geographical area years ago, in the Wellesley Office Park. We(collectively) brought Mark’s TONS of business. Fast forward years later. I was visiting a relative at Newton Wellesley Hospital, who happened to be dying. Literally, on their death bed. It must have been about 1 hour before Mark’s closing for the evening. I walked in, and recognized Mark(the owner) from years of business. He claimed they were closed. Which struck me as odd, because he had no reason to not want to serve me. We had never exchanged anything more than«hello» and«thank you». Maybe it just wasn’t his night. Maybe he had me beat in having a bad night on that particular occasion? Not likely. My friends and I went to a nearby restaurant that happily served us with a smile. I arrived back at Newton Wellesley. WHO did I see with pizza delivery in hand? Yup, you guessed it. Nice guy. :sarcasm: So yeah, now the entire Office Park knows AND all my friends who had worked there over the years AND anyone I still know in the area, including local politicians. Nice job. Oh, and the food is terrible. Even if it is your last meal. I guess you never really know WHOM you are disappointing, do you?

I have been coming here for decades and it is good today as it was when I was in college. There selection of sandwiches, pizzas, salads and chicken dishes. The buffalo chicken fingers are my favorite! They are very fresh, roasted not friend and leave you wanting more. Love the salads. Sandwiches are great, but I don’t love the pizza. Great for casual good food.

My work is close to Mark’s. We usually order from here or a couple nearby take out/delivery places. It’s just your typically local pizza place. Not bad, not good, just average. Delivery sometimes does take longer than you would like. We will usually order our food an hour before we actually want it. I have never had a problem with delivery drivers or the person who answers the phone. There honey mustard and steak fries are probably the best thing there!!!

Not Bad I will try this place again. Some peoples reviews complain the Pizza is to greasy. Well I happen to like that oily goodness on my pizza. Unlike most Commercial crap you can get today. Prices are average. My Experience with Mark’s was good. Food was delivered on time. Food was pretty good. The only Complaint I have is the Delivery Guy was a bit of a Dick.

It took an hour and 20 minutes to get my food, when it was supposed to take about 40. The food was cold and soggy. I could have excused the time it took if the food arrived hot, but it didn’t. So I had to stick everything in the oven simply to make it edible, so by the time I got to eat it was almost 2 hours after I ordered. I called to demand my money back but they refused. They said the owner would call me the following day to give me a voucher, but I never heard back. Two stars instead of one because the pizza was pretty good once it was heated up.

Should be one star but the staff are friendly. Ordered a gyro lamb pita. Inedible. Wait was long. People who ordered after me were long gone with their lunch by the time I received mine. Tzadiki sauce tasted like crème cheese. I recommend Mark’s for people who have a steel stomach and simply looking for calories to consume; you won’t find any flavor in your meal. I’m sorry for the less than favorable review but when you spend $ 7.25 on your sandwich, only to take one bite and throw it away. …leaves a ‘bad taste. in your mouth. Guess I should have stuck with the iceberg salad.

Marks is a good restaurant. I go there frequently, usually 2 – 3 times a week. Marks is inconsistant in both its food and service. Some days, a pizza takes 10 minutes. Some days, it takes 30 minutes. The food is great if you like simple Italian food. However, the food tends to be a bit greasy at times. The parking is also abysmal from the fact that there are many restaurants around it. Take-out is below average. You place an order and it takes usually 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, which is insulting to the customer. In the end, I recommend Marks. BUT, keep your expectations low when you go there or else you’ll be disappointed.

Mark’s Pizza and Subs has average food. We had a large order with an array of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The lettuce is all iceberg, and the food is generally greasy. The chicken salads were large which was a positive. Our take out order arrive 45 minutes late from the time it was promised and even after multiple calls, the restaurant had trouble telling us where our food was and why it was late. It is not likely that we will order from here again.

The quality of food here is below average, a bit greasy, a little lacking in quantity & not very flavorful. Beyond the forgettable food their service is one notch above bad. They are not very detailed oriented when taking orders or delivering them. My place of employment buys a lot of lunches from them & they take a very long time making everything. Then the order is usually wrong 50% of the time. They forget to put in an order or there is sauces missing. You would think with all the quality competition for your lunch dollar. Save your money & take a short walk across the street for some much better fare.

With Papa Razzi and another Pizza joint across the street, I have only been here for the subs. Very busy here during the lunch rush. Sandwiches are prepared right in front of you so you can watch while you wait. Have had both hot and cold subs and can’t say I was ever disappointed. You will need to work a bit to find them as they are hidden behind the Papa Razzi. Parking can be difficult in spite of the large parking lot.
