I can’t explain in words how amazing this restaurant is. I am a nurse and am here for a few nights with all my nurse friends. Dan the owner immediately came up to me and explained the whole menu m, what his signature dishes are and what he thought we would like. Shelby on the bar made us the most amazing drinks«Shelby goes to the pond». The live music was amazing acoustic. Our favorites were the Brussels sprouts and the fish tacos. Dessert was toasted almond in vanilla ice cream. We can’t say enough positive things about this awesome spot in the cape. We hope Anthony Bourdain makes it here someday. Well worth the trip.

We visited for drinks and oysters and had an wonderful evening. The staff was was all attentive and friendly and the oysters were fantastic. We tried a variety of mixed cocktails and really enjoyed them all. We sat outside in the garden and the ambiance was relaxing. It stated to rain while we were there and we we’re immediately offered indoor seating but chose to stay outside. We got exactly what we came for and had an awesome time.

We had come to the fleetian last year and we enjoyed our food immensely, but to our surprise this year the food was absolutely horrid, the burger I had was cut three ways as if the chef didn’t know how to tell if it was cooked, and the burger kept falling apart because of that, the Sauce they used tasted horrible, and the fries were mediocre. The waitress we had was nice and even offered to take off the inedible fried oysters and fried calamari, which only tastes like burnt panko bread crumbs. The food was served on paper plates that made it feel like a middle school cafeteria. I thought I would have another amazing meal but I came back to a bad experience. I will not be coming back.

What a disappointment. Last summer our family came here all time and we were so excited to see that it had finally reopened this season in early July. I’m not sure what happened but let’s just start with the menu, what menu? Menu consists of about 7 items scribbled on chalk board, no actual menu. I could get over the small menu if the choices Were exceptional or unique, neither adjective applies. Drinks, small offering(you many notice a theme?). Nothing on tap!!! But on a positive note bar tender was willing to try and make anything you desired. Our water in plastic cups was Awesome! On to actual meal, served in paper dishes with plastic silverware. Please do better! I am not at a baseball game. For dinner we had fish and chips served with blueberry tartar(mayo and fruit= flashback to pie eating contest vomiting from stand by me). Cesar salad and brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts were the best part. Cesar salad was mediocre as is most Cesar salad(this is my go to when there is NOTHING on Your menu)! Why two stars? Good service, polite and apologetic for overall poor showing. This place was so disappointing after such a great 2014. Not sure what the owner is thinking, hopefully it’s a cover for some drug cartel because I highly doubt it will be around for another year if it’s an actual attempt at a restaurant.

Fantastic! Stopped in Saturday after a late afternoon in Wellfleet. This place is a LOT of fun! Super staff and management, funky vibe, fantastic DJ! Panko Fried Oysters with Blueberry Tartar… Outstanding! Simple Burger, juicy, perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned french fries. Fish tacos — fresh, excellent balance of flavors! Taidje the manager knows what he is doing — great guy, attentive and gracious. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Tommy who handled our food and drink orders with a big smile! Fun and eclectic crowd, perfect afternoon! Cannot wait to go back!

If you’re expecting it to be what it was, it’s not. So can understand how people might be disappointed compared to last year. But if you’re looking for someplace cool to relax with decent drinks, live music, and some small food it’ll totally do the trick. Yes it’s all paper plates, plastic cups, no more smoothies, and no real menu, but it’s just fine. A special of ahi tuna salad was some of the freshest I’ve had on the Cape this summer and the oysters are really nice too. Fish tacos are good.
