Serviceable in a pinch. Out for a late dinner with the family at the end of season. Many places closed. Service was excellent. Seated quickly by friendly staff. Entrees(chicken & steak) were nothing to write home about. Décor okay.

We had a great dinner here on the Saturday night of Oysterfest. I’m sure they had been really busy all day and we came in towards the end of the night, but the service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I will definitely be back when I visit Wellfleet. Also, I left my hat there and they graciously mailed it back to me by the next week. Great service!

We all said the same thing when leaving the restaurant… «Too bad the food wasn’t as good as the service.» The service was nice and professional. The wait for food was a bit long. The food itself wasn’t very good. Filet was a bit chewy and gamey. Seafood and chicken just okay. Yet the vegetables were very good. We didn’t stay to try the desserts.

We have been here multiple times. We like the food here but last time when we were there we asked for table and the women at the front desk was very rude to us for no reason! We’re not coming back here!

Coffee good enough to drink black. Eggs Florentine with fresh baby spinach, very rare, with a Hollandaise sauce that was different than norm, but, decent. Homefries were slightly mushy, yet, correct red bliss potatoes and an interesting, good taste. I witnessed an order of French toast go by, so, had to try it. Nicely done, thick brioche style that came with SOFT butter! Boggle my mind when restaurants serve cold, hard butter for any meal. My quibble is with the upcharge for Maple syrup. Places need to figure out a way to distribute any cost impact across their menu. They don’t have to give it out as the standard, however, it should be a FREE option.

Love the breakfast! Simple menu with everything you need. Traditional Benedict was excellent and the coffee is so good! Good service and no wait to be seated. Happy customers!

Pretty standard brunch menu and average portions(not too large). Great location and a good stop to fuel up for the long ride off the cape.

Never disappoints, amazing food, great service. We had the chef’s omelette and was delicious. We got the pancakes and were really good but next time I would get the French toast because that is special.

This review is for breakfast. It’s a decent spot for regular breakfast with moderate prices. Nothing special but not bad either. The potatoes served with the omelette are very very good. The Bloody Mary was just ok. I like the fact that it was very clean and the décor is kept up well. We had the Greek omelette which was good not great. The veggie(maybe Garden) omelette was very good. The service was a bit slow but in general it’s a great spot for breakfast compared to most of the other dirty and overpriced places around.

Excellent value in the prix fixe dinner $ 25 for a 3 course meal. I had a yummy arugula beet salad with a fried cheese croûton. Grilled salmon with multi colored roast potatoes and clam chowder. All delicious and will definitely return next summer.

We went for brunch and the resturant was half full, but we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated for a table. I got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was just OK. The Benedict sauce lacked flavor compared to others I’ve had. We also share a single blueberry pancake and that was delicious. We enjoyed the bloody Mary’s. I would love to try this place for dinner. This is a great brunch spot if you are in Wellfleet, MA and driving home from a weekend in Ptown.

This was a great find recommended by a gentlemen we met at the beach today. The sole was so light with a bouquet of butter and lemon. The girls had burgers which were both cooked as requested. I had scallops with risotto with was also very good. Great coffee and the server was very pleasant and thorough.

Last day of a 4 day week end and we stopped by the Wicked Oyster for breakfast. Good choice. After a 5 minute wait, we were seated and asked about coffee almost immediately. We asked for coffee and a couple of Bloody Marys. They were yummy. When the waitress came back I the Huevos Rancheros while my wife had the corned beef hash and eggs. Everything was terrific… the eggs served perfectly over easy as we like them. The corned beef seemed to be home made and tasted kinda like the canned Hormel brand… which to me is a good thing. I mean I really like the Hormel brand, but don’t usually buy it because«it ain’t the best thing for ya.» Why do the best tasting things have to be so ‘bad’ for the body? So yes, great service, nice décor and excellent food. Think I’ll change this from 4 to 5 stars. Can’t really think of a negative about this place. None of those gnats that Gastro N. had bothering him. Guess they took care of the problem.

Came here for brunch. The restaurant décor is adorable. Comfy. AC. With wooden tables w bench and chairs. The food was so average and flavorless which was disappointing. Service was average– had to Ask the server 3 times for a glass of water. The rancho eggs w scrambled eggs, sour cream, salsa, and black beans with flour tortillas was bland. The eggs Benedict was running. The pancakes were ok. The ham was fatty. Not coming back.

Stopped in here again for Breakfast on our way up to P-Town — our meals were delicious and the coffee tasted great, not too strong as in last year’s review. The Waffle with fresh fruit was perfect, not overcooked, it was soft when cutting through the Waffle. My Beacon that I ordered crispy and the Home Fried Potatoes were delicious! I cannot say anything bad about this place. There was plenty of parking in the back and just a few spaces in the front. As for the women’s bathroom — it was clean.

A solid brunch choice. If craving sweet, order the belgian waffle — perfectly toasted yet soft texture, and the fruit(blueberries, strawberries, kiwi) is so fresh. If craving savory, order the eggs benedict. the ham is nice and thick(not the deli kind), the egg muffin is fantastic, and the poached eggs are lightly seasoned. Do NOT order the omelets. They are nothing special. The homefries are salty, but I like them that way. The toast is disappointingly soggy. Service is slow, but perfect for a weekend morning when you dont have anywhere to be, and good company to talk to.

We were seated on the patio for dinner. Our young waitress provided gracious and truly attentive service: she was the best part of the meal. The trouble started with the bugs: we were eaten alive by small but incredibly aggressive gnats. One of us had 25 bites that left painful sores just on one arm. The management needs to do something about flying insects ASAP. We had a Nor-Easter for a cocktail: a very original flavor that took a bit of getting used to. We had oysters, mussels, and ceviche for appetizers. The oysters were ok but not very briny — a matter of taste. The broth the mussels came in was extraordinarily over salted: no spooning this sauce. The mussels themselves were large and tasty. Ceviche was a little bland. For dinner, we had duck confit, panko sole, and scallops. The sole was very well prepared and came with a generous portion. The duck was as expected. The couscous it came with was somewhat non-descript. The scallops were good but the risotto was too soft, probably over cooked. Overall, we were left with a feeling that the chef tries very hard but fails to execute on some basics. Unfortunately, the amount of the bill reflected pretensions that the quality of the dishes could not quite live up to.

Came across this restaurant by accident. Turned out to be a great choice. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. Visited twice for breakfast during my visit and was pleased both times. During off-season you should definitely call ahead to ensure that they’re open. The menu was quite extensive and you should have no problem finding something to your liking. I had pancakes both times with pure New England maple syrup. Two people can eat breakfast for under $ 25, including coffee.

You have to make reservations. This restaurant is more on the fine-dining side and people dress up to have dinner here but we came casually dressed and just ate at the bar. The staff behind the bar were great. I loved the menu options and prices. Sadly, the food wasn’t that impressive. The new england clam chowder, yes! Very impressive! The wicked burger, not much. I also ordered the mussels which were big & plump and not fishy at all! But the broth was so disappointing! It was too creamy and not what I’d expected in a white wine sauce. I did ask for extra broth prior to ordering and they gave me an extra cup on the side. I like to use the mussel shell to scoop up the broth so the cup of broth on the side was really nice of them to accommodate. I think we may have ordered the wrong items. We saw other dishes around us which looked pretty good but I couldn’t tell you how it tasted. It seems like people do love the breakfast /brunch so maybe that’s when we should have dined.

Blueberry pancakes! That’s what I wanted and what I got. They were great. I didn’t want anything else. My fiancé enjoyed his bagel and lox. We sat at the bar since there was not a wait for that. Very hot in the restaurant however. I know they had AC since you had to close the door when you entered and exited to keep the place cool but it was definitely NOT working the day we went. Service was decent and we’d return. But, I’d rather just get the pancakes to go. Too cramped in there. I will say they have a dinner menu but it did not harken us back to the Wicked Oyster. Maybe next year!
