This is no longer a café espresso. Raw Bean has taken over this location. They’ve been down town for 10 years and have now expanded! Yay!

I live just around the corner, but never bothered to try this place until today. Honestly, I’m sorely disappointed. My latte tasted like a watered down version of the Nescafé my mom used to try to serve me. The barista was friendly, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Caffe Expresso has the friendliest staff. I love starting my day with them! Their house blend coffee is so damn good with a little cream and sugar.

I’ve been to this place plenty of times and I’m surprised there has not been a recent review about this. I’ve stuck to the chai tea(its a weakness), but I’ve gotten the starwberry/banana, chocolate/blueberry, and plenty of other concoctions and I am completely blown away every single time! This is definitely a great place and definitely will bring everyone I know. And plus the Ten Drink Perk is amazing :-)

Great prices, friendly employees and best blended chai in town.

Some of my favorite mornings in history began with taking a drive to Caffe Expresso, getting an iced coffee, and listening to talk radio. They still temper their espresso, use Italian made syrup by Monin, and a west coast staple – Ghirradelli chocolate – for mochas. The iced coffee is made from a strong brewed concentrate, and tastes divine(especially with a splash of cream and a splurge of coconut). As far as candy coffees go – theirs are the best. A lot of them are in-house invented and employee named, an adorable zip of coffee shop kitsch. Drive here.
