Love it! I love this place so much and I will willingly overlook the fact that my pizza wasn’t as ordered and my wine glass wasn’t super clean. I am admittedly hard on restaurants. This place deserves forgiveness and patronage. The guys in there(Dan and Brian) are so great to interact with and they handle the chaos that is the dinner-hour with ease and a sense of humor. Oh and by the way… The pizza is incredible. This is the only place I’ve ever been where I forgot that I didn’t get what I ordered. I have a feeling anything they put in front of me would be amazing. No they didn’t get the order right and I don’t care. Way to go Spectator! This will be our go-to pizza spot for(hopefully) years to come!

Finally they got it right!!! I have been a long time West Linn resident and have seen multiple pizza places in this location. While the pizza has always been good because they have killer ovens, the management and staff have been terrible. Fortunately for people living in West Linn that changed and the new management and service is GREAT!!! 5 Stars Service. I will be back…

This is a really great NY style pie. By the huge slice or whole. It’s all fresh hand tossed and perfect. Only a short walk from my house. What a find if you love high quality NY style crust. You have to try Spectators

Way better pizza than Round table and Bellagios. Service was great, called for an order to go and was coming out of the oven on time. I love the gourmet options and creativity, white cheddar, gouda, truffle oil, sweet peppers etc. I’d like to see some more veggies, like spinach, broccoli, zucchini, shitake mushrooms, roasted red bell pepper.

Menu sounded amazing, and wait time promised was half of the competitor. However that half wait time will only come with half your order. Should have trusted my gut when the order taker over the phone wasn’t very friendly. It’s a shame that the order taker is also the manager that wasn’t too polite in fixing it either.

The pizza was good, a huge selection of microbrews on tap and growlers make this a great little place to watch the game. The 2 guys working(I’m guessing one was the owner) were friendly, helpful and personable.

I’ve been waiting for a while just to let the business settle, due to the location’s history. Well, guess what, I was happy with their pizza(it was quite decent but a little pricey) and the service. I was there at 11:45 a.m. today, a nice pizza guy was there, he was very professional, attentive, offered to reheat the pizza for me and chopped me a fresh oregano. Good job, Spectator… I hope you are here to stay. I know a lot of people are watching you to fail due to the previous businesses but you got my vote. Good luck! :)

First impressions matter: My first impression of Spectator Pizza & Pub? Family Friendly. Lots of brews on tap. Very experienced Pizza crafter. Best Pizza joint this location hands down! Manager is passionate about crafting the best pizza to exceed customer’s expectations. Minuses:My *GF Pizza’s Canadian Bacon looked/tasted like Bologna. Good news: On the Hawaian Style GF pizza it tasted well &I ate every slice! My wife LOVED her«monster» slice of pizza enough she ordered another slice! So 2 thumbs up! *GF = Gluten Free

Really good pizza and friendly people. It’s great having a place for pizza and a beer in the neighborhood. Wings are eehhh(boneless) but the pizza makes up for it. Nice draft selection also!

Unless something changes dramatically, my prediction(write this down folks) is that by April 15, 2016, this place will close down or go through yet another owner change. I went in today at lunch time, completely dead. I had 2 slices of the olympia pizza and the chicken wings. I got my two slices within 5 minutes, they were the average size slices but the dough was too crispy after the second heating. Toppings were chintzy. Taste was actually pretty good if they had more toppings and the slices weren’t nearly burnt. Unfortunately, each slice was $ 5. So I got two slices of mediocre quality pizza for $ 10. I’m being generous here, I think the slices are worth about $ 3.50. The chicken wings were boneless and unfortunately also completely tasteless. I ordered the buffalo wings and my six year old who thinks her peppermint toothpaste is too spicy said that the chicken was bland, yes she actually used the word bland, they’re learning opposites at school and evidently the opposite of spicy is bland. The portion size of the chicken wings was HUGE, TONS of chicken, but a large portion of bad food is still bad food. The basket of chicken ‘wings’ was $ 8. So I paid $ 18 + $ 1 tip for some PRETTY below average food. Service was better than average, the one poor kid who was there seemed overwhelmed with call in orders. Owners of Spectator: I’m not trying to be cruel, I really want your restaurant to succeed, I really do, the above review is in the spirit of giving you some really honest and much needed feedback. My sense is that some or all of the 4 star and 5 star reviews on Unilocal are from friends and family as they know your name to be Kevin. I wish you luck.

Great new pizza joint — the people are friendly and food is good. I had a slice with Caesar salad — hit the spot! Big slices. Will be coming back for more — maybe during happy hour next time!

Fun décor with tables showing back issues of the Oregon Spectator. Ordered a salad(good with romaine lettuce) and slices of the Monster Mash pue. Being from the East Coast, I like thin crusy, and Kevin has that down pat. Topping was tasty with chunks of Italian sausage very good. Lots of good beer on tap. This place is a keeper.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed based on the last two places that inhabited this space(Mean Streets and Island Sam’s) but I have to say these guys might shape up into a winner. Staff and service were just fine, and the pizza(in this case the«Have Some Meat») was taste-wise on par with Flying Pie, with the ham and fennel sausage checking in nicely. If I could offer a critique or two,(1) the crust might be a tad too thin — I prefer just a little more of a «floor» under the toppings and(2) I didn’t see and wasn’t offered a price list for the beer and sodas, but I’ll offer some slack on that since they’d only had their OLCC approval for a couple of days before our visit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

They just opened Monday. Staff is nice and helpful. Pizza is hot and delicious. I tried the BBQ chicken; salty, sweet, smokey goodness. Atmosphere is clean and much less cluttered. They have actual adults working here, not high schoolers. Check it out!
