At Potbelly Sandwich Shop I tasted phenomenal sandwiches that cooked well and looked appetizing. The service was one of the best experience I have had since being in New York. There was very straightforward menu, enough choices to give the impression of variety. Hove brewed te was great as well. No complaints, Looking forward to having them around a long time.

What do you expect perfect sandwich wrong .it was ok yes but could of been better I got the pizza sub sounds amazing but when I got it I wasn’t to impressed it was cold like meatballs in all we went a hour before closing and it’s like they turned off the burners or something there was sauce everywhere really made it messy and soggy I also got a cookie now that’s something they did right the establishment was very clean staff wasn’t bad just highly upset about the sub I think I’ll just stick with jj’s they usually know how to make me happy

Messed up the order again today and have done it multiple times since my last review. Charged me for avocado they never put on the sandwich. The food is good. It’s just unfortunate that the service at this location is so bad. I’ll just keep updating each time they screw it up…

I got «A Weeck» minus the roast beef on multigrain; what an awesome sandwich! The shop was super clean, staff were nice & friendly, and they took their time with my order. I will definitely be back!!!

Really solid fresh, hot sandwiches at modest prices. The selection might be just a bit limited, however. I recommend the Wreck and Turkey Breast/​TKY. You choose between regular or multigrain bread, which are both really good. The bread is probably the top reason I come here actually.
Definitely better than Subway or the Jersey Mike’s nearby. Their catering is really good, which is how I found out about Potbelly actually. Definitely one of the better catered lunches around town. Get the kind that comes with the sandwich, chips, and cookie, and people will love you.
Only problem might be that the place is a bit small and parking is limited.

Their sandwiches are nice and affordable. Staff is very friendly to customers as well as to each other which is refreshing.
I had the tuna salad and loaded potato soup while here. Don’t have as many toppings as subway but I like their proteins more. The tuna salad was not overly heavy on the mayo which was nice. The loaded potato was thick as it should be.
Warning! Hot peppers are HOT! The main pepper they use is serrano. Order peppers on the side if you are unsure. However, if you love spicy they also sell their hot peppers in a jar.

Better than subways for sure. I got the Wreck with a cup of chilli. When they ask you for additional toppings, skip out on the oil! The Italian seasoning is oily enough. And watch out for the hot peppers –super spicy.
But overall, I thought the sandwich was really good and very filling. Chilli was okay. They put a slice of American cheese on top which hardens… ew.
Parking here is horrible and annoying though. Try to come when there isn’t a big lunch rush.

If you have never tried a sugar cookie from Potbelly’s, you are missing out on life. Seriously. They are so insanely delicious and soft. Everything else here is delicious as well and this location has the friendliest staff out of all of the Houston locations I have been to. Try the TKY sandwich and don’t forget the hot peppers. These peppers are so wonderful you may need to buy a jar to take home. Bonus points because they deliver lunch within the Med Center.

If you are looking for a great place to eat and dine with great customer service, then this is the location to visit. There are 3 ladies that work there who are gold star servers and know how to cater to the customer. Extremely courteous and seek to please the customer. Clearly they believe that a customer who is spending their money deserves great service and product. This is the only Pot Belly’s I will patronage when I want a sandwich or their good chili. Keep up the great job ladies. You have a fan in me!

Overly price for what you get!
Today was my first time trying Potbelly and I was not satisfied. I ordered the chicken and melted cheddar but hardly got any chicken. It came out to be around $ 9.60 and that was with chips and a drink. It seemed that with every bite I was munching on peppers more than anything else. I didn’t taste and cheese and did I forget to mention CHICKEN!!! Lol the menu was so so… Not a lot of choices.

The sandwich– tuna with CHEDDAR (capitols make sense in a second), lettuce, and tomato– was great. However, when I asked for American cheese as I was ordering, the lady was very rude to me and proceeded to give me the definition of American cheese. Her attitude was unnecessary, and quite frankly, really upsetting. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize we were in the country of Potbelly run by the cheese nazis. All in all: don’t ask for American cheese.

Favorite sandwich shop in Houston. The smoked ham with everything can’t be beat. Sometimes, they get a little crazy with the peppers, but we are in the South. The shakes and baked goods are delicious. The prices are really reasonable. I appreciate the accessibility of the establishment for those of us with mobility problems.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Potbelly’s!!! This is my favorite sandwich shop hands down!
I started going to Potbelly’s maybe 6 years ago.
This location is close to the gym so I pass it all the time. This location has only been open a couple of years though. I try not to stop here often, because I try to stay away from carbs. It’s located on Kirby between Bissonnet and Rice.
Cons:
Making a left turn into this location is sometimes difficult during high traffic hours.
The parking lot is kinda snug
Pros:
The service is great
The place is always clean
And the sandwiches are the bomb.

If you’re looking for a hearty sandwich that doesn’t break your wallet for lunch, this is the place.
As a hot-​sandwich snob, I love this place. I usually order the pizza sandwich on flat bread, and I’m never disappointed. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and toppings (of which they give you plenty). I eat a ton, but I’m always stuffed when I order a regular. Yet I still order one of their fresh, soft-​baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (I once stopped in just for one of these gems). The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and I love that although it’s a sandwich shop, it’s built like a restaurant in that there are plenty of tables and booths. Good luck finding parking at lunchtime, though!

This is the only Potbelly location I’ve ever been to and it’s one of my favorite quick sandwich shops that’s part of a chain. It’s never so busy that you cannot find parking which is nice. The staff is really friendly and keep the place clean.
I always get the regular Mediterranean sandwich and it’s always made so well and quickly. They don’t skimp on the amount of toppings they put in the sandwich so you definitely get the bang for your buck and leave feeling just the right amount of full. Today I got the Mediterranean on the multi-​grain flatbread which is new and I highly recommend it! The flatbread was warm and enhanced the taste of the sandwich. I prefer eating less bread so this was perfect because it made the sandwich lighter.

I like Potbelly. They offer freshly made sandwiches and decent prices. The service is friendly, and the food is made quickly (I usually order the Italian). My only issues with this location is that seating is sometimes hard to find at peak hours, and turning left into the parking lot from Kirby can be a pain. Otherwise, Potbelly is a solid place for lunch or dinner, especially if you need to grab something to go.
Tip: If you love spicy but aren’t sure how much you can handle, you can always ask for the peppers on the side (they’ll put them in a little cup), and you can add as much as you please.
