Ordered the Kansas City Bison Strip Steak done medium. Was handed a seared slab of raw meat. I cut through the middle and saw that it was less than rare and just kind of stared at it for a few moments. The very attentive waitress noticed I wasn’t happy and took the steak away. In about 10 minutes I was handed a new steak that wasn’t new at all. It had the slice through the middle. It was the SAME steak. They had taken back my undercooked steak and just thrown it back on the grill. It was definitely medium at this point but was also dry and tasteless which is what happens when you grill, cut up, allow to cool, and then grill again a piece of meat. Anyone with any backyard grilling experience knows this. The place was not busy at the time and I will never blame the wait staff for the quality of the food, but at no time did a manager even swing by to apologize for the food. As expected, when the bill came I was asked to pay full price for my garbage steak. I live just down the road from this place so it is unfortunate that I won’t be going back.

Another great meal from Teds. Great burgers for my boys and salmon for me. The service has been fantastic as well.

We’ve eaten at the Ted’s location in Bozeman, and this location is as good, with similar ambiance. The bison filet was fork tender. Service was great — our server Melissa was sweet and very attentive. I was never lacking for a refill of iced tea! We will definitely visit this location again!

Rating: 2.5÷5. Our party of seven was immediately seated on this Thursday night. As they were craving casual food, my dinner companions made a reservation there. At 6:30 p.m., the clean restaurant was two third full. The rustic bistro décor was pleasant. My overpriced $ 15 New Mexico grilled chicken sandwich with asparagus was average. The size portion was small. Two people in the group stated their bison and beef burgers were overdone. The waitress«Merri» provided a standard service. She had dark hair. She forgot to ask our entire table whether we would like to enjoy desserts. No free wifi was available. It was easy and free to park on the shopping center parking lot.

Absolutely horrible. 20 minute wait for a table sat at the bar. Ordered a steak medium well and a hamburger well done. 35 minutes later food still not served. The people next to us order the same thing they sat down 15 minutes after we did and they got their food before we did. My steak came out rare and my boyfriends hamburger was cold The manager came over and heated up my steak which was dry and un flavorful. I did not get a break on the price. Total bill $ 65. Never again

I really like this place a lot! The prime rib is served only on weekends but it is definitely one of the best around town. Their bison nachos are terrific, and whenever I go there I always have to get the red sangria because it is delicious! I have had one bad experience about 6 months ago. The bartender/server was very rude so I stopped going for a while. I just started going back again and it’s been good.

Great food– I’m a fan of their bison burgers and the homemade pickles! Prices reflect the amount and quality of food. Service is always great, not a lot of space if you’re waiting to be seated though. Can be a little loud depending on where you’re seated, but the bar seats are always a fun time.

Burger selection is huge and most of the time they come out well cooked. Fries and onion rings are delicious. The pickles are the perfect touch. If your not in the mood for a burger and fries they also have a nice selection of dinner entrees including salmon, chicken, steak, salads, and more. The apple crisp desert is a must try.

Maybe it was an off day… maybe it was totally normal but the service was just BAD. We waited for at least 20 minutes for a server and eventually had to get up to ask someone for help… it just kept getting slower until the chef eventually brought out our meals! My soup was cold but I will say that they immediately offered to reheat it. Everyone enjoyed their burgers so that was a plus… I would return if need be but wouldn’t go running back.

I came here a couple times for lunch, and the food is just ok. With the price it comes with, I can only give it a three star. I tried the fish entrée once and a couple salads. I’d say that the food taste fresh, but that’s about it. The place is good for a lunch with co-workers, very«chain» looking.

First time eating here– will absolutely be back. Wonderful service– food was beyond phenomenal. We both had bison and it was cooked to perfection. Everything from the yummy pickles to the delicious steaks were perfection. We will back back to try the numerous yummy burgers. Love love loved it!

My boyfriend and I just left and had a wonderful waiter named Mike. He was by far the best server we have ever had. Funny, attentive, thoughtful and professional. One thing that stuck out was how he noticed I was chilly after just getting seated,(it’s about 9 degrees this evening) he brought over a mug of hot water for me to put my hands around! So thoughtful and considerate. On our way home we were just saying how if we could have him as a server every time we would come more often(also if it was closer to home). Thank you staff for the great dinner but Mike for making it a one of a kind experience!

Always a great meal. Sky grill salad with chicken — perfect. My wife got the Avalon beef burger and fries — really good. This is my favorite salad place and comes out perfect 9⁄10 times. Only had hard avacado once and that is the worst thing I can say about here.

For a chain, Ted’s is pretty good. This might be the only sit-down chain restaurant I can think of where I actually enjoy the fries. I suppose they could be cleverly frozen and prepared french fries, but they FEEL like real hand cut fries so that’s all that matters. The New Mexico burger was also good, although the topping combination was not as intensely flavorful as the menu description led me to believe and they overcooked it a little bit. In my experience this is typical of chains, even small ones like Ted’s. I actually like the fake Classy Montana Saloon motif Ted’s is going for. They almost pull it off, even though this particular location is in a strip mall in suburban Massachusetts. The beer options are lacking and overpriced unfortunately, which leads me to my biggest problem with Ted’s food: its price. A cheeseburger and fries at this place is $ 15 and some are quite a bit more than that. The price point here is 20−25% higher than it should be given the quality of the food, which always bothers me.

I saw that somebody on here said this is «a step above outback»… after finally trying Ted’s today i can assure everyone that outback is A LOT better… I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars just because our waiter was really nice and attentive. I was extremely dissapointed in this restaurant due to just about everything on the table. First off, they give u «pickles» in the beginning which are really just cucumbers… dont remotely taste like pickles yet, but that’s obviously not important. We started with the Bison Nachos, which i was pretty excited about. These were just average nachos, which were served to us cold…(we don’t like complaining so we ate them.) They needed a LOT of flavor. The«bison chili» honestly just tasted like canned hormel chili, the pepperjack cheese wasnt even melted, and the jalapanos were not even SLIGHTLY spicy. We both ordered medium rare burgers, they both came out well done. It is one thing to slightly overcook a burger, but to serve essentially the exact opposite of what the customer ordered. that’s bad. My fries were delicious because i actually ordered them well done, as i do everywhere I eat. But my boyfriend ordered his just regular with no special requests, and his came out soggy and TOTALLY undercooked. And like everythign else, cold. Safe to say we won’t return here… if we want a good burger we could just go to outback.

I heard this place had the best burger. Needless to say(due to the fact that you can count how many stars there are above this) I beg to differ. The staff was kind of rude, hard to get to stop by the table. And weirdly insisted that I give them multiple pieces of ID and took them to their manager which makes me suspect that they had an incident previously. The food was okay, the drink was pretty good, and I would probably wouldn’t return.

This is more like 2.5 stars, but I figured I’d be nice. The food quality is really just a step up from an Outback steakhouse, but I didn’t expect much walking in and the place looked like a chain restaurant(I think it is?) The only thing on the menu that looked appealing to me was the short ribs, which they have everyday despite the menu saying it is served only on Saturdays. I got it with a side of mashed potatoes and«buttered» corn. Our waitress described the short ribs as melting off the bone, which they kind of did, but they still weren’t very impressive. I think the main concern was that each of our dishes were served at room temperature, because it was clear nothing was freshly cooked. The carrots had absolutely zero flavor to them and were pretty watery. The mashed potatoes were mediocre. It wasn’t a super expensive restaurant, but still relatively costly for bland food. The only things I thought tasted good were the drinks. Service was also pretty decent.

I went here with my younger sister one day, it’s just another average burger place. We were not impressed with the food, I had a burger and asked for no sauce of bun, I got no bun but the sauce was all over the burger and ruined it. My sister can’t have much dairy and ordered a soup without realizing it had dairy in it, she got three tomatoes instead which didn’t taste that great(I tried them). I was hoping for something more going here, but found out it was average. I will not be attending this restaurant again. Our waiter was very nice about everything.

Coming here was a bit of a adventure for us! It was fun and not too far from normal to put me outside of my comfort zone. We order the bison nachos, they were really good and if you didn’t know any better you might not be able to tell that this is not beef. I was told to order the lemonade and boy, no regrets! That was also wonderful, perfectly sweet and tangy. I got George’s cadillac, it was very good. My favorite part was the fried onion straws for whatever reason, I’d love to get some in a bag and eat them at home haha. My SO went surprisingly far out of his comfort zone and loved his bison burger! I always like to have him open his taste buds to different things and this was a little adventure that turned out well! Our waitress was sweet and pleasant. We will surely be back in the future!
