This is the second time in a month where I ordered a country fried steak and it was not a country fried steak. It’s really sad that a restaurant would serve such a horrible tasting product. It’s like processed meat with mediocre breading. Alyssa was a awesome waitress, my sunny side benedict was really good.

As new residents of the Worthington/Greater Columbus area, we were unsure of where to go for some good brunch food. The lady chose Sunny Street from a shortlist and we headed to this easily located spot in a Giant Eagle plaza. There are many easy accesses to the parking lot as well as ample parking in general. There are pictures of some local dogs and animals as soon as you come in so this seems to be an animal friendly place. The décor is very cheery with yellow daisies, nice window booth seating as well as a nice breakfast bar seating area similar to what you might be familiar with at a Waffle House. We were immediately seated at one of window booths and were given very friendly and responsive service as well as water very quickly, and in mason jars that fit the summer/country picnic theme well. She was very good at refills and helpful but not bothersome in any manner. I ordered the stuffed biscuits and gravy(a nice upsell from regular biscuits and gravy, and quite good but just a little shy on the gravy) with over medium eggs and she ordered the chipotle chicken flatbread. It came out in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. The over medium eggs were perfectly cooked, not slimy but still with a nice runny yolk. Her flatbread was wonderful as well with many different flavors that blended well together. The fries were also nicely made and crispy and hot. We enjoyed our brunch at Sunny Street and will likely return as it is a clean, affordable brunch spot with a cheery atmosphere and delicious good! I would recommend it to anyone in the Worthington area and would also check out their other locations around Columbus and the US!

Standard breakfast food. Just ok. But the service… So slow. Called in an order, said it would be 15 mins and been waiting for over 30 mins now.

Ive been here a few times and everytime i come the food is good and always fast. I love the corn beef and hash, also i love the smoked sausage breakfast. Pancakes are always fluffy and a nice size. The customer service is friendly the reason i give it a 3star is because i feel very cramped up from the time you walk in the door. People are standing everywhere another thing i dont care for is that you have to crawl back through the crowd to pay your bill I think you should be able to pay your waiter to make it easier. Parking is also not the best because so many businesses use the same parking lot.

Very Sunny Streety. We loved it. Good service, fresh ingredients and perpetual sunny smiles from the staff.

Sunny Street Café in Westerville gets a special mention for a good breakfast place in the Columbus suburbs. Their menu includes some standard American breakfast fare, as well as some options unique to Sunny Street. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was definitely a great choice! It was my first time having chicken fried anything-but-chicken, and it was great! It was the perfect combination of crispy and seasoned, smothered in a rich, creamy sausage gravy. It was served with eggs, and I opted for fruit. I also ordered a pumpkin pancake which YOU’VEGOT to try! The pumpkin pancake was topped with cinnamon/cream cheese/I’m honestly not even sure, but it was so yummy! Definitely sweet enough so that you didn’t need any extra syrup. We’d stopped in and didn’t realize this was a chain. It was pretty good! My only complaint was the long wait. We were told 20 – 25 minutes, but it took closer to 40 – 45 minutes. At that rate and quality of food, First Watch may be another option.

Nice, laid back place. The Smoked Sausage breakfast was good, my omlete was more like a crêpe and the ingredients weren’t mixed together. The coffee was ok and the service was good & quick.

Great for breakfast. Stuffed biscuits and gravy is awesome. Have not tried anything else. Can be a bit of a wait at times but goes quick.

This was my first visit at this location and I had a pleasant experience. I arrived shortly before 11 and they were pretty busy with what I assumed was the brunch crowd. I was seated by a server within minutes, and then she came back for my drink order. There was a picture of iced coffee on the table that looked good so that is what I ordered. For $ 2.49 I got a mason jar of sweet, caramel iced coffee with coffee ice cubes that were a nice touch. Before that arrived, she brought a mason jar of ice water without my having to ask. I ordered the black bean burger with avocado($.99 extra) and fries. The burger had a nice flavor and the bun was really fresh. It was one of those black bean burgers that falls apart, but I can’t blame since that’s what happens to mine when I make them at home. The fries were pretty good, along with the side of ranch(that they didn’t charge extra for). This is a meal I would definitely order again. The service was good. There is patio seating and plenty of parking.

Hands down the BEST chicken fried steak I have ever had! My BF and I visited this place during our Fourth of July travels and we were very impressed. Food was amazing and our server was great. We came back the next day for another round! Glad we stumbled on this place!

Will never return. First, we were seated right next to trash which ruins a meal right off the bat. Not a very pleasant odor or view. Second, all the mason jar glasses, while a cute idea, were all dirty. Additionally when we got our drinks and our order was taken, that was the last time our waitress approached us. My sister ordered buttermilk pancakes, the syrup jar served on the pancake, which is decently disgusting if you ask me. It also was over cooked and had a metallic taste. My mom ordered eggs over easy and they came out over cooked. I ordered eggs Benedict and if you know a poached egg like I know a poached egg, you know that it’s supposed to be runny and look like the hollandaise sitting on top, not over hard like this excuse for a gourmet breakfast. Also the banana in my fruit cup was brown and sliced probably about a week ago. When the manager came over to help us with our horrible breakfast she said little more than okey and took off only the pancake, along with a coupon for a free meal when we return. Too bad that’s going to rot like that banana in my wallet, because we’re never going back.

I went to brunch here about 12:30 on Sunday, had a short wait of 10 minutes. It was busy and they do offer outdoor seating. This place is located in front of giant eagle on route 3 and maxtown. The front of the building faces route 3. I ordered eggs benedict. They offered three different styles. One was regular(I ordered that one) another one came with tomatoes and cheese and the third had tomatoes, feta cheese and spinach. my meal came with hashbrowns. Portions are good, service was excellent. Servers came many times to refill coffee and water and did not wait until you were on your last drop. That type of service really stands out to me as I loathe having to wait on refill when my glass is empty. They have breakfast and offer lunch meals. The entire menu looked delish. I will definitely be retuning in future.

Always great service and good food. Locally owned so we support them over other options for breakfast and sometimes lunch. My favorite is grits with anything…

Not my go-to breakfast spot. This location was in close proximity to our doctors office and we wanted to go some place new. We were greeted with a friendly person who sat us immediately. We ordered our drinks and the server came back and we ordered. It took us 30 minutes to get our food thereafter. How do I know you ask? I looked at my Unilocal check in status right after I got our food. This is a bit long for a Wednesday mid morning when only a handful of other people sit among us. I ordered a veggie omelet, hash browns and toast. The omelet was made with white American cheese and it was a great compliment to the veggies and egg whites. Other veggie omelets I have had use swiss so this was definitely delicious. My son got the chorizo tacos. They were served with small flour tortillas. It was a nice portion, especially for breakfast. It was a perfect blend of flavors, chorizo(spicy mexican sausage), cheese, lettece, egg and tomatoes. Not my favorite location nor place to eat. I would probably go to Scramblers and first watch before I come here.

I always have a great breakfast experience when I go to a Sunny Street Café. I have been the location State Street and the location on Sawmill. Both have great food, courteous and friendly service. I have tried a few dishes but I almost always end up getting the Burrito Ultimo. It combines the right mix of protein, dairy and vegetables. They also put jalapenos in the burrito! They’re just spicy enough to provide some heat. I usually opt for the side of fruit to balance the meal out and top it off with their bottomless coffee. Always the best bang for the buck!

Read some bad reviews, but I just visited today. It’s was busy and I feared we wait a long time but we were seated immediately. Our server came within the min. and brought us coffee. We ordered and our food was out the fastest I have have probably ever seen at sit down place. The pancakes were great, the hash browns were great, and so was the bacon. My only complaint was the eggs, they just tasted too fake… Idk what it was but I didn’t eat them. Upon leaving they offered us coffee to go. Very friendly place with great service, fast service, quick refills, and an good experience. The price is probably a little high for the quality, my reason for 4 instead of 5.

Really love getting breakfast here. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. My favorite, by far, is the eggs Benedict. The only thing preventing me from giving this place a five-star review is that their coffee is TERRIBLE. At least there are multiple different flavors of creamer at the table to help matters, but it’s still pretty bad.

I really wanted to like this place… I really did… But was left wanting. I’ve only been here once… You know the old saying, «You only get one chance for a first impression». And I think once is all I will try. Let me explain. I used to frequent another place for breakfast way down the street, but new owners took over and slowly changed everything, and not for the better. I was desperate to find a place I could love again. So I heard that one of the cooks at my prior favorite left and came here YAY! When I asked our server if this cook was working, she said she didn’t know the cooks… Hmmmmm. Really??? And as for our server… One of the main reasons for the 2 stars… To say the least, she needs a job elsewhere. NO smile, no pleasantries at all, no water refills, and NO coffee refills, not until I has to ask, and that was after the bland and boring meal was over. Ah yes, the bland and boring meal… I ordered the corned beef hash… I’m pretty sure it came from a can… Sooooooo disappointing. I can open a can at home. Sooooo, first the below marginal server, followed by the below marginal meal, and a stingy ration of coffee on a Saturday morning … All that equals 2 stars, because yes, I’ve had MUCH better at just about anyplace…

I randomly tried this place this morning for breakfast, trying to scope out a new breakfast joint. I’d heard adequate to good reviews on this place, so I was eager to come here. It wasn’t terribly busy… but the services was lacking! The food took longer than what you’d normally wait for bacon & eggs… and the coffee was only refilled once. The food… that’s where I’m really hung up. It was just«okay.» It was very normal, kind’ve bland… with no creativity involved. Very standard and nothing great about it. I used to frequent the«Best» for breakfast… but stopped going due to the new owners. I was really hoping I’d like this place and that it would replace my previous breakfast stomping grounds. Guess I’ll stick with Scrambler Maries.

My favorite breakfast spot — they have French vanilla creamer(along with other flavors) on the table. We usually hit it after church and yes there are times it is busy but the wait has never been longer than 15 minutes. Service is good to great and they get you your order fast. I like the loaded hash browns so much that I haven’t tried much of the rest of the menu — sorry about that. If you are comparing prices to First Watch and Scrambler Maries — this place has those beat for the same if not better food.

Fast. Healthy. Friendly. And my coffee was never more than halfway empty. Just what a gal needs in a brunch spot. My favorite thing to order here is the Power Breakfast(egg whites, toast, turkey sausage and fruit). The egg whites are so. damn. fluffy I can’t even stand it. And the turkey sausage is some of the best in Columbus brunch spots. Definitely one of my fave go-to’s!

As compared to similar breakfast spots around Columbus such as First Watch and Scrambler Marie’s, Sunny Street is my new favorite! What I enjoyed most was the variety of crepes, muffins, pancakes, etc. There were so many delicious flavor options that I hadn’t considered before and it’s clear they’re alway offering something new. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and best of all, huge! It’s hard to find a chain breakfast joint that offers variety, but I found it at Sunny Street Café. Will definitely be coming back. Note that my rating is base on the comparison to similar chain breakfast spots.
